How to keep a Role in it's current place after selecting it's content?

Hello,
I am using NW 04 Patch 11.
My Portal contain many Roles and because of that in order to see a certain Role I need to use the built-in arrows in order to slide the Roles.
The problem is that if I slide to a certain Role and click on it to view it's content, the content is displayed but the Roles area seems to be refreshed and the Roles presented before the sliding aapper again. This causes a confusion at the user's side who doesn't know under which Role he is at the moment.
Is there any way to keep the current Role "sticked"?

Nope. That won't work well since the window won't be sized to
the image,
and the image will always be left aligned. Jo is bang on with
her
recommendation of the JustSo extension.

  • How to keep the right sidebar on this website from going under the main content (center) column?

Hi...is there a way to keep the right sidebar on this website from going under the main content (center) column when the browser window is made smaller? It would be great if the middle (main content) column could get smaller instead of the sidebar moving under the text when the window is made smaller. I'm working with a fluid layout and this is the first time I've tried this. Any help would be appreciated. Here is the link to the website:

  • How to keep track of which tab is currently active in the page using Session object?

    Hi,
Just curious as to whether it is possible to have a PL/SQL event fire on an active tab.
The reason is I want to keep track of which tab is currently active on the page is that I have "generic" forms and reports published as portlets that I wish to be able to determine from the session object what page/tab the user is coming from and apply certain restrictions etc.
    kind regards,
    Matt.

    Hi Konstantina,
Yes You can do like that 2012-->q1-->January
    Steps:
    1. Create time dimension hierarchy as by following like Total--> year--> Quarter--> Month--> if you need you can keep Description.
    2. Drag the Year column from period dimension table to the dimension hierarchy of year.
    3. Drag the quarter column from period dimension table to the dimension hierarchy of Quarter.
    4. Drag the month column from period dimension table to the dimension hierarchy of month.
    5. Drag the hierarchy to period dimension table in presentation layer.
In Answer side keep as it as Default: drill in primary and secondary interaction under column properties.

  • How to retrieve Global Roles in a the current security realm?

Is there a WLS API available that obtains a list of mapped global roles (defined in a security realm) from an application?
I want to be able to do a getRoles call against an authenticated user. So far, I'm only able to use isUserInRole. What I need is a list of all global roles mapped to a user's group.
    Thanks all...

  • How to keep toolbars set up in a current format that a person is accustomed to?

I am currently using Version 3.6.11.
I would like to keep my current appearance for navigation bar.
The new themes and add ons are nice but the set up I have is much easier on these 60+ year old eyes. I am in the process of switching to another computer and will be using WinXP-Pro
Firefox 6.0.1, Thunderbird2.0.0.24, and Adobe. I do not adapt well to the newer version of Thunderbird. It simply is to busy with clutter.

  • How to keep the Book panel in the same location after saving the book

I almost always have the Book panel open. I like to dock all the panels, including the Book panel, at the right edge of the workspace. But whenever I save a book file, the Book panel reappears in the middle of my screen. I then have to drag it back over to the right edge of the workspace, where I want it to be. Is there any way to keep the Book panel where I put it (whether docked, or floating)?

This is simply a "ditto" to the problem; it's a major irritation not to be able to save this as part of the workspace--but to have to drag the book panel to the side every single time. Frustrating.

But after I moved them, I found that all the previous versions of these files were gone. If I moved them from iCloud to my Mac, those previous versions stayed there, but they would be gone if I moved the files into the USB drive.
Is there any way that I can keep the files' previous versions after moving to a USB drive? My USB drive is in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.
    Thank you!

I am sorry that I didn't make my point clear enough. By "previous versions" I mean "File > Revert To > Browse All Versions". If I moved my files to a thumb drive then it will become empty, I am wondering is there any way to prevent it from being erased. Thank you!

  • Email - POP3 account - how to keep/save the received messages on the phone after deleting on server

    Hello,
I'm new on this forum and I'd like to receive some help and indication with regards to one issue related to email POP3 account.
I'm using a BB Z10, and after setting all the email accounts I have seen that on the company email account, which is a POP 3, I can't keep the messages on device after deleting them on server (this is programmed to be once at 2 days).
Exists the possibility to check an option which allows saving the received messages on the device? As it is happening on other devices from other brands?
Looking forward to receive your advice and suggestions!
    Thanks!

    Sorry, no.
The Z10 utlizes ActiveSync technology which basically (for lack of a better term) "mirrors" the messages available on your server. You delete them from the server, they are deleted from the device.
You'd be best off on your server instead, to "file" or move those messages to another folder. This too might delete the messages on your device (since they no longer appear in the INbox, but at least they will not be completely deleted.

  • How to delete all previous icloud data from current icloud after sighning in with the current icloud account

so i sighned into someone elses device with the current icloud account and i sighned out. Some of the icloud data from the other device is now on mine. All i want to know is how to delete all the icloud data in my current icloud account from the other icloud account

    Hello ,
I had the same problem and i have done everything manually.
It's a shame that Apple doesn't put a "Reset to factory Settings" button or simply "Delete all data from iCloud.com". That way, it would be much simpler for everyone including myself.
Winston Churchill is right unfortunately . Happy deleting !
    Kind Regards,

  • How do I get my AppTabs to stay in place after I log off?

I am able to create AppTabs and they remain in place when I close Firefox and then reopen it. However after the computer has been closed down and I reopen it my AppTabs have disappeared.
    Thanks

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data [1] in the file sessionstore.js [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

It is also possible to use the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting, that is usually a more reliable way to restore session data.

I recently did the latest update for my MacBook Air and when I use a specific website it won't open the popup blocker at a normal size. Any ideas on how to keep the popup blocker at the size that I select?

First thing to try is Reset the Type Tool by right-clicking on its' icon in the Options bar.

  • How to keep connection of network service in win8.1

    Dear sir / madam,
i would like to ask how to keep connection of network service in win8.1, after i logout / switch user/ sleep.
    thanks

    Hi,
Did you have any issue on your computer?
The network is disconnection when you logged off the computer. This is expected behavior.
The network is stayed connection when you switch the user.
For sleep mode, check the following setting:
right click the network device in Device Manager and go up to the top and hit
Power Management. Then uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

  • How to Put Date in a Textbox after Select

Hi, DWMX. How do i put todays date into a text box after

If this is being a saved to a database simple set the default
    value of the
database field to record the server time when the entry is
    made. In Access
this is Date(), in msSQL it is getDate()

  • Windows 2012 R2 / Windows Essentials Role. How to keep from Changing DNS.

So I have asked this question in the windows 2012 Server board and was directed to try it here in the essentials.
that existing thread is here >>
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/11cfbc1b-0001-42d6-85c1-304d1e450679/windows-2012-r2-windows-essentials-role-how-to-keep-from-changing-dns?forum=winserver8gen
    now to the question
Ok so I will describe my problem as best as I can.
I have 2 Servers Both 2012 R2 Standard 1 is Primary Domain controller and one is the Secondary Domain controller. I had everything set up on the domain and the Primary Domain controller was set up as the DNS on ALL clients (Static).
Recently I set up the secondary domain controller with Essentials. All went well I added all the clients to connect with Essentials. a few days went by and now all of a sudden all the Static DNS's are all changed to the Essentials box.
This Really wouldn't be a problem to me except the performance level of that DNS is EXTREAMLY slow. I run to all clients and change the static back and everything works great. then a little while goes by and all DNS's are again to the Essentials box.
SO my question would be. Is there any way to configure the Essentials box to stop redirecting the DNS to itself and keep the Primary domain controller as the DNS

    Hi Curtis_bob,
I noticed that Olaf had provided
KB2862551 in the old thread. Just check if Olaf’s suggestion can help you to solve this issue.
If this issue still exists, would you please let me confirm whether has also installed DNS server role on the
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (with Windows Server Essentials Experience role)?
If any update, please feel free to let us know.
    Best regards,
    Justin Gu
