How to point to a Custom Function Group

Hello,
I am on EP7.0 ERP05 NW04s and trying to modify ESS Address Application .The standard application points to the standard Function group HRXSS_PER_P0006_US and I want to point to a Custom(a copy of it) with name ZHRXSS_PER_P0006_US.. What's the right procedure to do it.....?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I really doubt wether we can achieve this, i mean pointing a standard webdynpro to Custom RFC instead of Standard RFC.
If you want to use standard RFC along with Z, this is possible. But modifying the existing model and pointing it to Z model is difficult, as the standard model nodes and attributes are mapped upto the views. You have to delete the mapping one by one without any error.This is a tedious process....

Do below things.
1. Re-import your Model.
2. Restart your J2ee server
3. Re-load & Rebuild your project.

Import Custom Function Group

Hello,
We modified an ESS Webdynpro application by importing a new Z Custom Function Group and changed the bindings to point to it....we didn't checkin the activity after that but the Z Model was added to the DTR when I checked in the DTR perspective with a blue hut icon along with the class files....I just want to know what des it signify...? and why was the Z Model added to the DTR...?
Any help would be highly appreciated...

When you create a model it will ask you to create activity or shows the existing activity and when you select that it automatically adds all the files to DTR and you can check this in the General Output view in the bottom right corner

SE80 problem in ECC with custom function groups

We are in the process of upgrading from 4.64 to ECC 6 and have encountered an unusual situation.
When we bring up a custom function group in SE80, we can no longer see the custom includes in the include section. We can see all other sections. We can still use SE38 to look at an include. The automatically-generated includes are there, such as the TOP, F01 and UXX, but see none of the ones that go with the function modules we've created. When we look at the UXX include, we can see each of the function modules with the include it belongs to. These are function groups that existed in the 4.64 system; they are not new to the ECC system.
We've tried rebuilding the object list at the function group and package levels. We receive no errors and the processes work fine.
Maybe there is a setting somewhere that needs to be updated?

How to remove user from custom DLU Group

Hi,
I have created a DLU policy that creates a local user, and places this user
in a custom local group (Group is already present on the system). Now I want
to remove this user from this custom group and place it in another custom
group. I have created a second DLU policy to place the user in the new
custom group. The new custom group is added fine, but the old custom group
assignment also remains. How should I set up the policy so that the user is
removed from the old custom group, or is this not possible?

How to export and import custome functions...

Hi Biddies,
I am wondering is there any way the custome functions in an existed report can be exported.
If there is, how can I do it?
For example, "Custome Functions.rpt", which was distributed with Crystal Reports, has a custome function library. How can I export it from the report?

What format you are using to export it .
As I have seen you can export the custom functions contained report.
I had done it in pdf format for your references go to sample report folder
select featured example report folder in that open custom function report and export it to pdf format.
The report will exported with the field data of custom function.

You can maintain constansts or global variable in the 'Global Data' of function group.
Please go to the function group through SE37 transaction and select display or change. in the Popup select for mainprogram in the mainprogram you can see the a include program which will be with 'Global Data'. this is the section where you can maintain the global variables.

include lwbabaptop. " Global Data

Create Maintenance Dialog
To generate the maintenance dialog for a table or view:
Choose Development ® Other tools ® Gen.tab. maint. dialog. You go to the maintenance transaction initial screen.
Enter the name of the table or view.
Choose Generated objects.
Choose Create/Change.
Confirm the maintenance module creation prompt.
Enter the generation data:
Maintenance module function group
You can put maintenance modules for several tables or views in a function group.
Authorization group
Maintenance type (one/two-level)
Maintenance screen numbers
Recording routine (standard/individual or none)
Choose Create. All components required are generated.
When a maintenance dialog is generated, an entry with an object list is created in the maintenance object description table. All tables involved are in this object list.

I have a include LZFG_VT00 into ZFG Function group.
SAP created this include when I set Table maintenance generator in SE11 for table ZFG_TABLE1.
SAP wrotes this code in include automatic:

But, you can see, include LZFG_VT00 declares ZFG_TABLE1 and I can not change it because is a SAP standard program.

How do I delete a custom function in SSHR?

I have duplicated the seeded SS Vehicle Repository function and renamed it. I amended the OAFunc= in the HTML call to reflect the new name and pCalledFrom= parameter. Unfortunately, this is throwing up an error.
Ideally, I would like to delete the function I created and start again, but the Delete button is greyed out.

You should be able to delete custom function from "Form Functions" form in System Administrator. Make sure you remove the respective function from all the menus including the "Global Self Service Functions Custom"

How can point single user to multiple groups in ACS

we are having almost 150 NDG groups in my ACS Server, in that one group is specifically for Security devices like pix & ASA's.
Now My requirement is that i want to Restrict this Security NDG group to one Specific Group under Group setup menu in ACS.
is it possible in ACS Server.
If it possible how can i point multiple multiple groups to single user.
Because not all users required access to this Security NDG group. only few users require the access.

How to create a new function group in EEWB creating new fields.

Hi gurus,
Iu2019m creating an enhancement of the BP Object through EEWB, but when I finish I received the following message:
Message no. FL030
Diagnosis
You attempted to add a function module to a function group that is already full. A function group can contain a maximum of 99 function modules.
Procedure
Create a new function group or reorganize the existing one.
Could you guys kindly guide me in how to create or reorganize the function groups in order to include the total of my custom fields?

Hi,
the issue has been investigated in the customer system.
You're trying to create a table extension using EEWB and the table has 55 fields and each field has checktable.
EEWB creates for each field with checktable 2 function modules. However, there is a limitation that one function group
can contain only 99 function modules. That's why you got the error.
Possible solutions can be following:
1. Design question: Do you really need checktable for all fields? Do you need all 55 fields in one table? Otherwise, you can split it into two tables.
2. Instead of using checktable, you can also use domain fixed values. For that you have to define your own data element and domain with fixed values.

when I use tcode xd07 to modify it ,the message is :

Account group one-time customer
must be maintained after the account group has been changed
follow after is a table strip with sales structure.
Customer can be blocked manually up to this point.
and the result is not changed.
what does it mean?
how can I modify the customer account group?

these fields are not there in the account group for which u r trying to change
So goto OBD2 and select your target account group which you want to modify and check whether the fields
county code and city code are suppressed make the required or optional
then you can modify the account group
BOTH the source account group and Target account group should be similar in fields and views then only you can modify

How can we change the name of the custom function group which was created by me?
Is there any change to be done ,after changing the name of function group ,to the function module assigned to the earlier function group??

goto SE80 --> select funcitongroup and name --> press enter --> you can see object list.
In object list --> select function group ---> right clik mouse --> and rename the function group.
Or goto SE37 --> go to function groups --> Change group --> give new name
