How to redirect to /irj in Apache webserver

Hi,
We have apache as the intermediary server.
I have configured proxy pass and proxy reverse pass to redirect it to http://portal.domain.com:50000/irj.
If we type http://comp.domain.com its going to Apache home page. I would like to know how I can redirect the request to /irj. So that when anyone access the url http://comp.domain.com, it takes then directly to http://comp.domain.com/irj.
Moreover we have registered two domains and two company names if they use url
http://comp1.domain1.com
http://comp2.domain2.com , then I would like to redirect both the things into only one url http://comp1.domain.com.
(how do i do this in Apache).

Hi,
your second requirement should be pretty straightforward. Your apache simply needs to get these additional requests, too. I.e. all additional hostnames must also point to the IP address of your apache installation in DNS. No changes to your proxy rules should be required.
For your first requirement, check if this works for you:
ProxyPass /irj/ http://portal.domain.com:50000/irj/
ProxyPass / http://portal.domain.com:50000/irj/

This can be done via IISProxy but you'll need
to install IIS and configure ISAPI filter mapping file.

Another option is to replace/modify default J2EE page displayed when a user types J2EE server address (https://<server>:<port>) so that a new default page redirects to the portal address (<meta Refresh tag>).
This default J2EE page is located at the following path on NW 04 640 :
sapmnt\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.engine.docs.examples\servlet_jsp\_default\root\index.html

How to writing an image from my applet to my apache webserver

hi everyone,
i have a big problem, writing an image from my applet to my apache
webserver. i tried three way's of writing that file. every way was
described in forums to solve this problem, but non of them worked and
i don't know why. i'll give you the code of my writing-methods and
describe, what happen when i test them, in order someone of you can
give me an usefull tip, where the problem is.
as inputparameter i give my method a new URL referring to
http://localhost/test.jpg (this is the same directory, where my applet
is loaded from, so i should have reading and writing permission,
havn't i? while i'm developing, my applet runs on the same pc as my
webserver, just in case you're wondering about localhost) and a
selfmade BufferedImage (i already testet if it is not null and shows
the correct things ... all ok).

i cannot explain this lines to myself, because my apache should have
nothing to do with java. all my javacode is executed on the client
side in the browser. do this messages mean i have to add the ImageIO
package from the sdk to my jar-applet. the jre, used by my iexplorer,
doesn't contain this files in the meta-inf/services directory of
rt.jar, but that's version 1.4.2_03, the same as my sdk, and the
rt.jar contains the corresponding classfiles at javax.imageio.spi. so
i'm realy confused by this messages.

the SecurityManager denies this action with "access denied" while
calling createNewFile(). well, this way was dedicated to run from an
application, not from an applet. i'd have to sign my applet to get the
rights to do this, or i can edit java.policy on my client, what i
don't want, because i cannot do this on every client, the applet will
run, when i'm finished with it. this brings me to the question: does
anybody know's how to sign my applet and give it full access to the
harddrive and the webserver without paying 400$ to VeriSign for a
commercial CA? i want to do this by myself, without paying anything
and without giving a lot of information to another company.
i would realy appreciate, if someone could give me a hint where i am
wrong or how to do this correct.

You hold several misconceptions. The first is that an applet can write to a server without help from the server. That will never work on a real server (though it might work in testing, if the server is on the same PC as the applet). Applets cannot get a File object that points to any place on the server.
If you write a servlet designed for accepting image uploads, the applet can communicate back to that servlet and feed it the bytes of the image. There are other technologies that can replace the servlet, of course (PHP, ASP..) but I mention that because you say you are running Apache - and that is very Java oriented.

Fail to configure Apache webserver 2.0.53 as plugin to weblogic server 8.1

I have installed weblogic server 8.1 with sp2 on windows XP system. I have configured a domain with configuration wizard
with these settings -
server name "myServer"
port No - 7001
I have installed apache webserver 2.0.53 on windows XP. I have followed the steps to Installing and Configuring the Apache HTTP Server Plug-In with weblogic server.
After making the installation and configuration when i try to test the server plugin installation i am getting this error
Failure of server APACHE bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds.
Please let me know what exactly is going wrong and throw some light how can i proceed.

I recd a similar message.
This message indicates that the configuration setting for the Apache plugin are proper.
You probably need to check if our Weblogic server has been restarted properly.

me.Apache cannot do anything about this . It is your network DNS and DHCP that does this for you .If u edit the hosts file in a pc on ur lan ,then u can invoke from this m/c with the string as long as ur m/c isnt re-booted .This is assuming that u do not have a static IP adress .

Use apache webserver instead of oracle http server in EPM 11.1.20?

Is it possible to configure enterprise performance management 11.1.20 with apache webserver instead of using the default oracle http server and if so, can someone point me to the instructions for how to set this up?

Wow. You really need to keep going back to check the certification matrix, huh. The version I have shows that Apache is supported. Apparently that was deleted on 7/28.
I don't think it should matter much, though, since Oracle HTTP server is Apache under the covers.I ran into this when I had to use the IBM HTTP web server, which is also Apache under the covers. when you look at httpd.conf, it looks just like Apache. So, I would guess that whatever configuration you did with the Apache web server you will also be able to do with the Oracle web server.

Connection Reset on Oracle SOA-Suite 10.1.3.5.0 Apache-Webserver with SSLv3

I'm trying to use SSL with my SOA-Suite 10.1.3.5.0 Webserver. This Problem occurs on both a windows and a linux machine. I'm referring to the windows-machine, as this has the latest patch-level. My problems are about the Apache-Webserver only. I didn't do any special configuration, and SSL is working fine in the Browser (FF3.5 and IE 8). But for Paypal IPN Notification i'm having serious troubles. I was able to track down the problem to a SSLv3 problem. I installed the latest openssl version and issued the following command:

When adding the -bugs to the openssl commandline (saying "Switch on all SSL implementation bug workarounds") everything is working fine (with the same output for openssl, using sslv3 and the following additional line in the ssl-log: [info] Initial (No.1) HTTPS request received for child 34 (server soa1.karlsbad2.promatis.de:443) (at the end just before connection close).
When setting the client to use ssl2 (-ssl2) everything is fine too. When doing -ssl3 it is the same as without any parameter.
The certificate has expired message and the test-certificate seem not to be related with my problems, since the same problems arise on our production server having a "real and valid" SSL certificate certified by a renowned SSL-CA.
When setting SSLProtocol +SSLv2 in the ssl.conf openssl is working fine too. But this is not an option as sslv2 is no longer supported by Firefox (giving me an error-message when accessing the page).
I played around with SSLCipherSuite in the ssl.conf without success. I fear mod_ossl has a bug when working with the specified ssl-parameters. Is there any way out of this?

Did you find a solution to this issue? We are having a similar issue trying to deploy a Paypal IPN on OAS 10.1.2.3. The IPN messages coming from Paypal appear to be attempting an SSLv2 handshake. In our case SSLv2 is disabled due to our security requirements so the connection is killed by our App Server. We have found that manually sending the IPN messages works correctly.

How to redirect to different page after login in APEX 4.1

Dear All,
Here my Requirement is,When the users login,
when they entered their username and password and pressed login button,
they have to redirected to different pages based on the type of user.
Here my LOGIN_TABLE has following 3 columns,
1.Username
2.Password
3.Type.
The TYPE has 2 values, employee and admin.
when the type is admin they should be redirected to page 2,
reaining i.e employee users has to be redirected to page 3.
How can I do this? please give some suggestion.

I would like to explain something,
When I using the following function,

When login, It checks in the login_table table and if the username is exist with the pass word it successfully entered inside the application.
for all users only one page which we set.
My Login_table also contains type which has 2 type as I mentined above.
But As I mentioned earliar based on the user type it has to be redirected to 2 different page.

How to display swf in full screen mode and how to redirect to a url

Hi,
I have 2 questions :
Question 1 - I have a flash swf file and I want to display it in the browser in full mode meaning it should fit the browser, I have tried adding
fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
in the first frame of a lyaer but it does not work.
Question 2 - How to redirect to another page at the end of the swf movie, I have tried adding :
stop();
navigateToURL( new URLRequest("*www.microsoft.com*"), "_self");
in the last frame but it does not work.

"fscommand("fullscreen", "true");" only works for self-running executables, not embedded SWFs in a web page.
To get the swf to fill the browser page, the best thing to do would be to adjust the publish settings of the "HTML Wrapper" page and copy the necessary pieces from the resultant HTML file into the HTML file you are putting the swf into.
I have had some successes dealing with similar navigation issues by breaking up the code into multiple tasks:

navigateToURL(urlReq);
I can't guarantee that will help, but at least I tried. :-)

I am using JDeveloper 11g with ADF BC.
How to redirect to another page from a dialogListener of <af:dialog>?
I have a page with a [Delete] button on it. When user click on the delete button, a confirmation dialog will appear to ask "Are you sure? [Yes/No]". If user answer [Yes], I will delete the current record, and go to another page. I can call a Operation Binding in the dialogListener, but I don't know how to go to another page.

Assuming you're using wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login to log in, and p_flow_page is set to "[your app id]:1" try placing the following line just before your call to wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login:
:FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL := null;This should force user to page 1 after log-in.

You can't, directly. There's no connection betweenthe server and browser.
even after invalidating the session. we can do it
directly using the statement
response.sendRedirect("....");
or we can use the meta refresh tag.if session is invalidated and if we try to do response.sendRedirect(".. ") it throws IllegalStateException

How to redirect a page to a new window instead of the current one

Can someone please tell me how to redirect a page to new window.
I mean I am running a JSP with a button and on clicking it i am opening a new window (thru javascript offcourse),
Now response.sendirect("New.jsp") should be opened in that new window opened.
I tried it but the New.jsp page is opened in the current page (Even though new window is opened ! ).

I have a session that i have created as soon as someone

help on how to redirect the person if they try to access a
page without the

i have 5 pages... based on your login you entered, i am
keeping that name in

submit to verify that name against the table to add the recid
into the new
table..
