How to refer a service Item in CPO
Hi
I have a service item defined in CCP. How can I refer them in CPO Process. In CPO 2.3.0.44, we have create service item activity. But how the service Item type field can be filled?

Hi Teku,
Javascript can only see what is actually on the page - this has nothing to do with Apex, it's just what javascript is designed to do.
There are two things you can do:
1 - Add a hidden item to your page and set the application item as its source and then refer to that hidden item instead
2 - Use Ajax to get the value
I'd go with the first one as it's the simplest solution.

I have a simple java script for disabling an item as below :

</script>I have an application level item G_BUTTON_FLAG. Based on the value coming into this application item I want to disable the item.
So I went and changed the script as below :

I have standard sql report region contains 3 columns.
doc_id,doc_name and No_units.all three items are apex item.
below is my sql query for report.

How to track a Service Item in Install Base. If I'm right, when we define the item as Service Item in Inventory, Install Base Trackable cannot be enableed...
Scenario:
Customer is doing some services to its customer which has a contract for 1 Year. So we are creating service as Service Item in Inventory and then we create a contract for this service item.
How do we track this in Install Base?

A service item by definition need not be tracked in IB. The service may be provided on a machine or asset which will be tracked in IB. Since service item is not a tangiable item, it is not IB trackable.
Kindly explain the business scenario to track the service item in IB.

How to cancel an order with service item - Reg

We have invoiced an order for one service item later we have cancelled the invoice and order status has become as open.
We have to cancel that order without deleting it.
We rejected the line item despite it is showing as open order due for billing. Please let me know How can we cancel the order without deleting it.

Thanks for your reply, Checked the status overview also, it shows item is fully rejected and open for billing.
While generating billing due list the orders which are rejected by us is also reflecting as due for billing.
Where as if we are rejecting any deliverable items in order it is not showing as open order.
Please help.

How to change Service Item using BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE.
Hi All,
There's a requirement for me to upload/ Create Entry Sheet using BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE from the source file.
The Header was given to me but the Service Item, they would like the flexibility to change the existing lines that was adopted from ML81N.
Eg of the file.
Header given:-
PO NO
Po Item
Short Text
Ext Entry Sheet No
Service Location
Period Start
Period End ....n so on
Service Item given:-
Service Line (Extrow)
Service Order Qty (Memge)
Ext Service No (EXTSRVNO)
The objective of this file is
1) Create Service Entry Sheet (using Header)
2) Adopt the Service Item
3) Change Service Item (using Service Item)
Could anyone guide me how to do it? If Using BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE...is actually creating it with full details of the upload file. but given to me, t requrement is they would like to create n change the item.

If you are trying to test the FM through TCode SE37 then it will not give you the desired output.Do one thing create a test program and there you call the FM with your data.I hope in this way you can solve the issue.

How to create a service call for more then one item. i.e. the service call should be logged for more then one itemAs you noticed this is not possible by design.
Maybe you could have a dummy item for that purpose and register the real items to be handled in a UDT...

How to consolidate service item and finished product into a billing doc.
There are two items in my sales order.
one is the finished product, therefore I need to do delivery and billing.
another one is a service item, so i don't need to do the delivery but billing.
When I do the billing, the system split two billing document for this sales order.
How can I consolidate this two items into a billing document? and that is normal invoice for business.Please search the forum before posting questions as similar questions are answered before, see for example Multiple item categories on one order and Billing Document
If this does not help resolve, then be specific to provide where the issue happens.

How to create service items and sales order for service contracts.
Hi,
I have created item using Purchased Item template and one more item(service item) using service /warranty program template. Then I have used these items to create sales order with service item in it and closed that order , but Iam not getting this order in service contracts. Is this right way to create sales order for service items. I
item name:- personal_computer
copied from purchased order template. service is enabled and install base is checked and enable service coverage is enabled.
item name:- service_item
copied from service /warranty program template
service is selected to inactive,
service type: service
duration: 1 year
template: Gold
and saved the item.
Then I have used these two items in sales order for service contracts. But that sales order is not hitting in service contracts. Is there any error with item creation.

For every PO we have item level data... in that we have Service level data tab. But there is no link between PO and Service level items to fetch, I have used the tables EKPO and ESLL for fetching the data from service level by usin PACKNO field.
When I am writing the select statement for ESLL, service Item level data is not printing from ME23N...
