How to use repadmin /showchanges to track changes to determine growth contributors on NTDS.dit

I am trying to use repadmin with showchanges option to track changes in domainDNS partition. I want to confirm if DNS records are repeatedly getting re-registered as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2548145. What should be the procedure for this?
I have referred to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc811562%28v=ws.10%29.aspx under the section-"Compare changes occurred to configuration partition over a period of time" can same be applied to check DNS partition?
When I execute repadmin /showchanges "CN=DomainDnsZones,DC=domainname,DC=com" I get following error
Repadmin experienced the following error trying to resolve the DSA_NAME: CN=Doma
inDnsZones,DC=domainname,DC=com
If you are trying to connect to an AD LDS instance, you must use <server>:<port>

I have an old document which i now need to work on again. We worked on the same document last year and we are going to use the old text and just rewrite it.

How can I export comments and tracked changes from Pages to Word?

I just purchased Pages and tried to export a couple pages of my document to Microsoft Word so I could send them for review to a client who does not have Pages; however, when I copy-pasted into Word, none of the comments or tracked changes showed up in the doc., only the finished product. I've tried updating my software, but that hasn't worked. Is there a way to fix this?

Here is what the Pages User Guide says:

If you want to share your Pages documents with those who aren’t using the latest version of Pages, you can export your document to file formats that they may be able to use on their computers or other devices:

How to use on board counter to change sample rate dynamically on pci-6134

Hi,
I am relatively new in LabView.
I am making power quality measurement system and I need to vary the sampling rate of my pci-6134 dynamically (all channels simultaneously). What I need is to have a constant amount of samples in each period of measured signal (grid voltage), which changes slightly all the time. Therefore I will have to measure the voltage, find its exact frequency and then adjust the sampling rate of daq accordingly. I know that there will always be some delay, but I would rather like not to go into any predictive algorithms...
I have found an information in the Forum that one of possible solutions is to use an onboard counter to change the sampling frequency but I have no idea how to make that. Can someone help me or possibly show an example?
Is there a simple way to solve that problem?

At least at a glance, the code generally looks like it ought to work. Two thoughts:
1. Instead of getting into PFI3 vs PFI8 routing stuff, can't you just specify "Dev1/Ctr0InternalOutput" as the AI Sample Clock source? (You may need to right-click the terminal to get at the menu that exposes the so-called "advanced terminals").
2. Try writing both the freq AND duty cycle properties when you want to update the freq. Or try using the DAQmx Write vi instead of a property node. My past experience suggests that writing only the freq property *should* still work, but writing both isn't hard to try and may turn out to help if the behavior of your version of DAQmx differs somehow.

P.S. Bonus 3rd thought. I just went back to reread the thread more carefully, including your first screenshot. I'm now thinking that maybe the hardware actually WAS behaving properly, and that you just weren't aware of it. When you query the AI task for it's sampling rate, all the task can know is whatever rate you told it when you configured it outside the loop. So even as you change the counter freq to change the actual hardware sampling rate on the fly, the AI task will continue to report its orig freq. After all, how is *it* supposed to know?
Try an experiment: Set your original freq very low so that the AI task produces a timeout error without getting all the requested samples within the 10 sec timeout window. Run and verify the timeout. Then run again, but after 3-5 seconds set a new frequency that will produce all those samples in another 1 sec or less. Verify that you get the samples rather than timing out. That should demonstrate taht the counter freq change really *does* produce a change to the hardware sample rate, even though the task property node remains unaware.

How do you copy and paste track changes material in Pages from one point in a document to another and keep both the old text along with the track changed thus far in the new pasted location?

Depending on whether track changes is on/paused, Pages thinks the pasted material is either all new and thus highlights it as a big track change or just copies the old material along with the edits as plain text so that I cannot see my track changes. I need to be able to copy and paste in the same document and still be able to see the older text along with the changes to certain sections thus far. Is this possible? I need a step-by-step "talk to me like I'm five" instructional if what I would like can be done.

I would like to know how I can export my pages document to a pdf that still keeps the comments I had made in the pages version. I am using the latest version of Pages by the way.

Last week I printed a Pages '09 document to PDF and it carried over all the comments and marked up changes. This week I foolishly updated to Pages 5 and it won't do this anymore. If you need to print to PDF and get the comments in the document, you have to switch back to Pages '09, which I am doing tomorrow. Cannot believe they gutted Pages like this.

The company I work at has old applications that rely on the MS JVM shipped with IE so we cannot activate the Sun Java plug-in for all users.
The applet we are developing has to write to disk and thus has to be signed. We do therefore need to run a modern Java version for our users. We have about 5000-7000 users so we would need to create a bat file that would automatically be run for our users. That bat would set that the Sun Java plug-in will be used for Intenet Explorer.
Does anyone know which (registry-?) setting it is that is changed when the Internet Explorer box is checked in the Java plug-in control panel?

Where the 1.5.0_06 might be a different version.
There is a value named UseJava2IExplorer. 1 is enabled (Sun's), 0 is disabled.

How to use sp_msforeachdb with sp_rename for changing two table names in each databases-

I have around 990 databases on a single SQL server in which I want to rename two tables 'AuditEvent' and 'AuditPropertyEvent' to 'AuditEvent_Archive' and AuditPropertyEvent_Archive table.
Then I want to transfer lastest 6 months of data from now newly rename archived tables to New created Auditevent tables (Which will have same structure as old),
For doing it I tried Cursor and SP_msforeachdb as possible solutions but its not allowing me to execute 2 sp_rename statements with go inside a dynamic statement.
Please suggest any possible solutions on how to rename the 2 tables in all databases using sp_msforeachdb or cursor in a single go.

MacBook Air + Microsoft Word + Track Changes = nightmare

I work part-time as an editor. I use Microsoft Word on my MacBook Air and while I love my Mac for a million other things, it absolutely ***** when it comes to using Microsoft Word in Track Changes mode. After just a little editing, the program crashes. It's constant, it's regular, and it's a total nightmare. How can I best get around this problem without having to use a PC to do my editing?

I'd recommend reinstalling Office, then. I use Word of Mac '11 (same version) without any issues working with track changes. I will say that it can sometimes be a bit sluggish (the application) as the document ages and the amount of changes that occur but never once has the application locked up entirely, crashed or quit on me.

Material ledger is active in our company Normally, in material master data accounting view 1, we always set price determination 2 and price control V. Price determination 2 is set default if creating a material master by entering no price determination.
Today, my Key user came accross a prblem: In our company, for batch processing of material master, we made a mistake that price determination were set blank (neither 2 or 3, In MBEW table, field MLAST is blank) when inputting material master. all data were imported without error warnings. But ,acturally, all materials' price determination in accounting view 1 was set Blank! This is a big problem that we can not release standard price or do any other price changing~~~.
I have used CKMM to try to change price determination. But it failed: it can not identify this situation because old price determination must be set a word rather than blank in CKMM.
I don't know any other solutions to change price determination from Blank into 2.

I already checked the OMX1 transaction... and all configurations of ML and type material and apparently is ok.
Has anyone knows the solution?
(maybe with applying a program or SAP note).

Currently the materials are inconsistent and there is no way to repair them with the standard
programs. The problem should be corrected by Sap Support. Please create a oss message
providing a detailed description of the incidence and the remote connection to check the problem
in the system.
