How to use RIDC calls in webcenter application
hi,
We have lot of portlets developed in weblogic portal and consuming content using RIDC calls. How to consume data from UCM repository (site studio pages) in Webcenter JSF pages.
Thanks
Manu
Hi Manu,
Take a look at our whitepaper - Integrating Oracle ECM with Portal Technologies.
We showed this integration at the recent Collaborate Conference in April.

How to use RIDC to query WebCenter Content Tables/Views
Hi,
Can I use RIDC API to query WebCenter Content 11g Tables/Views, if so, How can I achieve this?
Regards,Yes, you can.
Call one of the Schema services (such as GET_SCHEMA_VIEW_VALUES) and you will get back a ResultSet which you can iterate over.

How to use " toFront() " method in java application and in which package or class having this toFront() method.if anybody know pl. send example.
The API documentation has a link at the top of every page that says "Index". If you follow that and look for toFront(), you will find it exists in java.awt.Window and javax.swing.JInternalFrame.
To use it in a Java application, create an object x of either of those two classes and write "x.toFront();". -
Need pointers on how to use SQLite in ADF Mobile applications
Hey,
I am trying to develop an ADF mobile App. I am new to ADF mobile. I went through some of the tutorials but still need some clarification on how to use SQLite inside the application. Can i get a Data control out of it? Or is it just to read and write data .
that brings me to the other question, Is the 'demo.db' i.e the db file which represents the Database, supposed to be packaged as a resource with the application?
Pls give me some info abt this.. If you can provide me links with this information, it would be of great help.
Thanks,
JitheshYou can expose a java class containing methods (select, update, ...) as a Data Control.
Yes, you need to add your .db as a resource.
Here a blog post about SQLite in ADF Mobile:

How to use iterator in standard BSP application BT115QIT_SLSQ
Hi experts,
I am new in BSP and my requirement is to put a checkbox icon beside the actions column (that has 2 existing icons already) of BT115QIT_SLSQ enhancement. I read a lot of article about iterators but I believe most of them are used in custom BSPs as we all know that standard BSP uses standard classes as well, which we cannot modify ourselves without access keys. Can someone help me how to use it in standard BSP? Or is there other much appropriate method?
Thanks and Regards,
LouieDear Pradeep,
Find the below link which explains a simple data download to excel from a table view.
www.sapt echnical.com/Tutorials/BSP/Excel/Index.htm
Try to avoid the way your using in the BSP application and it is abdicable to use the standard methods / class available like "cl_bsp_utility"
Hope this will be helpful.

"HOW to use Labview call Dll compiled by VC++"
"hello,I use VC++ compile a DLL,and i want to call DLL Function in LABVIEW program.But there is a dll function
when i call it in labview.There is error.The prototype of Dll Function that make error is "USHORT DLLFUN __stdcall IBWRT(unsigned short dev_address,const char *pstrWrite)",The second paramenter is a char pointer,
and the paramenter pass a command which content is
"MEASURE:CURRENTC? 1A,0.001MA".
When i use VC++ to call this function,i program followed:
CString m_wrt;
int ReturnW;
m_wrt="MEASURE:CURRENTC? 1A,0.001MA";
char buffer[40];
strcpy(buffer,m_wrt);
ReturnW=IBWRT(4,buffer);
and this call is correct.
But when i use labview to call this function.ther

error.So, who can help me,to tell me how to call this
function.Thanks."Are you asking about porting code or calling C++ code in LabVIEW? As far as porting code, there's no easy way to move code back and forth between LabVIEW and C++. However, if you are trying to call C++ code in LabVIEW, you can compile it as a DLL and call it in LabVIEW using the Call Library Function node.

How to use system call in assembler
I write codes to display the dictionary using C,
and it can run well,and then I want to use system call
in assembler to realize the same function ,but it doesn't
display the dictionary,how to correct it?
Look:
//C
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
char *name[2];
name[0]="/bin/ls";
name[1]=NULL;
execve(name[0],name,NULL);
return 0;
//Assembler
.data
msg:.string "/bin/ls"
.text
.global _start
_start:
movl $0xb,%eax
movl $msg,%ebx
mov $msg,%ecx
movl $0,%edx
int $0x80
movl $1,%eax
movl $0,%ebx
int $0x80If you compile with -Wwrite-strings, as I like to do for new code, you'll notice it warns about assigning the address of read-only memory to a plain char *. You might want to declare name as follows to avoid accidentally trying to modify it:
char const *name[2];
But as for your question. The execve system call requires a pointer to a list (array) of pointers to strings in %ecx. You are passing it a pointer to a single string, which means it will try to interpret the string ("/bin/ls")as a series of pointers to strings, with potentially disastrous (and certainly weird) results.

How to use Xcelsius tool in Desktop applications
Hello
This is shankar, from IMS CRM4 team in SAP. We have a requirement for interactive anlalytics in our product and found that Xcelisus is the correct approach.
Can you please clarify the following
1. How to use the Xcelsius tool in desktop applications.
2. Is Xcelsius Viewer free version available which can used only to view the interactive analytics. Xcelsius designer is not required for all the users.
Thank You
ShankarHello Victor
Thank you for your inputs !!
Point 2 is very clear to me that we do not need any additional software to run the SWF files.
We have CRM Mobile offline product with Crystal reports integrated already. CRM Mobile Offline solution is a desktop application and there is no intutive analytics.
So i would like to know more on how to link the data (Excel or XML) to Xcelisus tool and get the output SWF file. Can it be done through the command line (without using Xcelsius designer) ??. Do we need to have any licensed version of Xcelisus for this task??
This will promote both our prodcut and BOBJ Xcelisus prodcut as well

How to use Preloader with stand-alone application in Eclipse? Thank you.
My IDE is eclipse and my project is a stand-alone application(pure CS architecture with OSGI framework).
How to use Preloader thus the preloader would be started before my main Application and hid later?
I found some code in http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/deployment/preloaders.htm#BABGGDJG
but I still don't know how to deploy the Preloader with my startup Application in OSGI framework.
I give some code of my startup application below:
public class MyPrjMain extends Application
private static Stage primaryStage;
public void start(final Stage stage)
throws BusinessException
primaryStage = stage;
init(primaryStage);
primaryStage.show();

When you start QT 7 player, under the first menu there is a "Registration" menu item.
Enter your name and Registration code, THEN hit the TAB KEY. Do not click the "Buy..." button.
That should do it.
Make sure you have the CORRECT version of QT 7:

How to use Swing in a web Application
Can you suggest me some good PDF/tutorial or some good site for reading about using SWING in a Web Application.
In our web application we plan to use JSP/Struts for the presentation layer. However there are a few screens that require some advanced UI like color coded assets and a graphical version of Outstanding Vs Available limit. We are wondering whether we should use SWING for these screens. Do you think this is a good idea or is there a better apprach to deal with this
What are the disadvantages of using SWING VS JSP/Servlet in a Web environment. Is there a site or pdf where i can get information about this.I'd say the biggest disadvantage is that your client machines have to download and install the bloody java plug in.
What you write about your UI ain't half vague. What the deuce is a "color coded asset"? Is it
interactive? If not, could it be represented by an image? If so, even if it is a non-static image, it is a simple
matter for your webapp to generate the image on the fly. Many web app tutorials demonstrate that.
