HP 19-2014 All-in-One for installing problem to OfficeJet 6500a

I downloaded the printer driver provided by HP support team who gave me HP support URL and installed printer driver on my windows 8 new computer. When I installed the Office jet printer, I didn't have USB cable to connect. I used the RJ45 to connect and I had the trouble tip. That mean one end for the printer and the other end for the wireless router. I did. Another trouble tip shows "the HP software has been installed successfully. However the software on the computer was not able to completed the installagion of your printer on te network".

I have a couple questions for you:
1.) What Operating System are you using? Windows or Mac? What version?
2.) Can you make copies with the printer?
3.) What is your printer's Product/Model Number? To find your printer's Product/Model Number follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.

I wasn't clear on my question. I know the system requirements. Terminology in describing devices is making it difficult for me to find the correct machine. My wife's Surface allows me to use her stylus to sketch directly on the screen in Photoshop. No other tools or attachments required. I simply open up photoshop and I can write on the canvas with the stylus. Terms like touchscreen and digitized screen are used so loosely that I can't figure out what other devices, still portable like the Surface but with a larger screen, will actually work the same way. I realize that nothing like I'm describing would be suitable for a brilliant artist but I can't even draw a stick figure on the Dell XPS 18; it ignores the existence of the stylus though Paint pics it up just fine; of course Paint is extremely crude and will not open my Photoshop projects. Nothing about system requirements helps me to figure this out. The system requirements just reveal the minimum requirements needed to run the software. I've turned to this forum because the only solution I can think of is to lean on someone with experience. I can't go out and buy every device out there until one works; eventually the stores would quit letting me return them...

You can upgrade to Mavericks from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mavericks can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
A. Upgrading to Mavericks
To upgrade to Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Mavericks from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mavericks is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

How Do I get my HP 1510 All-In-One Printer install without a CD

I forgot where my CD for installation was. I keep finding but I never saw it. Are there any options for my printer to be installed at my pc besides the CD?

CAnnot get HP Officejet 7210 All-in-One to install

Have attempted to install numerous ways the HP Officejet All-in-One 7210, using both HP sent disc for WIN7, Download from HP and Download from Microsoft. Have even done a regedit of all 'HP' and fresh restart. This printer worked fine under WIN XP Pro but now with a fresh install of WIN7. It runs through the install but won't print. In checking the properties of the Printer it shows model #unavailable, scanner unavailable and under driver shows nothing. Can someone help?

How is the printer connected - USB or wired LAN? I would suggest you look in the CD for a util\ccc directory. In this directory should be a series of batch files, uninstall_L1.bat through uninstall_L4.bat. Disconnect the printer, then run the uninstall_L1, then uninstall_L2 and uninstall_L3 files. Next run the install program and do not connect the printer until prompted to by the installer.

Recommendations for printer/all in one for use with 10.9+? Help!

Does anyone have recommendations for a printer/all-in-one that will work with Mavericks? Monochrome (b&w) laser printer/all-in-one preferred. This is for a small office (5-8 people). Frequent pdf printing and 30+ page documents.
Right now I'm looking at Brother MFC-7860DW (might need something with a larger capacity), Brother MFC-8710DW, Epson WorkForce WF-M1030 (again, may need something w/ larger capacity), and Canon Laser imageCLASS MF4770n or Canon Laser imageCLASS MF4890dw. Also have looked at Canon imageCLASS MF6160dw but reviews are iffy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I am trying to set up my MacBook to a wireless printer Epson All in One XP-600 on my home wireless network. I need to find a driver that will work with system OS 10.4.11. Without the driver when I print the printer keeps printing page after page with some type of code starting with: %!PS-Adobe-3.0 %RBINumCopies: 1 %%Pages: (atend) %APL_DSC_Encoding:UTF8. My MacBook Pro running system OS X 10.5.8 works fine, beause I was able to install a compatible driver.

Usb for 1510 all-in-one printer causing problems with it accepting print jobs

I am having trouble downloading the driver for a 1512 all-in-one printer. It was working for about a week and it is not working now. I loaded the suggested driver 1510 all-in-one driver but when I get to plugging in the usb from my Windows 7 laptop to the printer, it does not feel it is connected. I can print items that I scan but am puzzled how it will not print. The only thing I have deduced is I need a new usb cable. I bought on ebay as I've always had good luck with hp products.

I decided that in spite of the fact that it had previously printed, I got another USB cord and used that and then the printer worked. The one I received with the printer must have been too loose to make a connection. This one feels snug when i need to print from my laptop. Thanks for your help. Sparky 325

Deskjet 3520e all in one printer network problems

Hi All.
I have a brain teaser for the technical types out there hoping someone can shed some light on a weird sort of problem.
History: All has been fine with my g6 Pavillion latop 64bit W8 and 3520e all in one printer and working as always very well.
Oct 16th 2014 My broadband service went down and after many communictions with ISP eventualy received (Nov 4th) and installed a new "super hub modem".
OK so far, Managed to connect laptop via wireless router and connect to internet etc., however . . . I cannot get my printer to network as before, I can use it via USB port but if I try to network it, The Cyan ink cartridge reports as being broken or damaged even though 3/4 full and will not allow printing, but when connect via USB port the Cyan ink cartridge registers normal and will print as expected.
Has anyone else come across this problem?
If I go down the route of uninstalling and reinstallin the Printer software is there a set order in which to do so?

I would like very much to get back to network printing if at all possible.
The router IP address is 192.168.1.3
The printer IP address is 192.168.0.1
I have been led to believe that as the addresses are so close this shouldnt be the cause.
I must add that in the past I have had occasional printer software problems which I was unable to resolve without help from the technical centre and I would prefer not to restart the installation if at all possible.
Your comments would be appreciated.

What exactly happens when you try to convert from USB to Wireless and configure the printer to the Virgin Media Super Hub? Do you get an error message of some sort?
Maybe there is a firewall on the Super Hub. Do you have the model number for this device? I can look up some information to see what could be casing the issue.
In the meantime, running the Print and Scan Doctor might help. The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues including but not limited to:
Connectivity:
USB: Verifies that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.
Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working correctly.
Device Status Test: Checks for device errors such as out of paper, paper jams, carriage stalls, and paper feed issues, and then provides instructions for fixing the error.
Driver Check: Checks for missing or corrupt driver files.
Device Manager: Checks for problems in Device Manager that would prevent printing.
Device Online: Checks if the product has been paused or set to offline, and then sets the status back to online if necessary.
Print Queue: Checks for and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a log of print jobs waiting to print).
Port Match: Checks the port settings for the HP product.
Device Conflicts: Checks for conflicts with other drivers, such as other printer brands.
Ink Issues: Checks the cartridges and ink levels for issues that affect print quality.
Print Settings: Checks and adjusts the print quality settings.
Test Print: Prints a test page for print quality evaluation, and provides options for cleaning and aligning the printhead if necessary.
Scan Tests: Checks the scan mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

If that does not resolve the issue, post back and let me know if there are any symbols other than green check marks and what they are next to of course. The wrench is not always easy to spot as the wrench and the check mart are in the green circle.
If you see only green check marks (), the tool did not find any problems.
If you see green wrenches (), the utility identified an issue and corrected it automatically.
If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped.
If you see a red X (), follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.

Officejet pro 8600 plus e-all-in-one color managment problem.

please help, I'm a photographer and I own officejet pro 8600 plus e-all-in-one printer. I want to print my photos using this printer, but it never print them right, so I bought Colormunki photo to calibrate my monitor and my printer and match them together. The problem is I can't control the printer color management !!! I want to disable it, so I can use the printer profile in Photoshop or other applications to get the right prints. my prints are darker when I set the color management to be handled by the application, or I make the printer handle it but I will end up with wrong colors. I really really need to change the profile of the printer. how ?????? otherwise I really have no use of it in my work.

Did you create the new profile manually or add it in from a previously saved setting? Filename / filetype?
It has been a while since I used Photoshop. I am thinking I may take another look at my old favorite.

HP Officejet pro 8500A premium, all-in-one printer, scanner problems

I have an HP Officejet pro 8500A premium, all-in-one printer.
Tried uninstalling using the HP supplied uninstall software and installed recommended OSX 10.8 software for this device.
I use wireless scanning. Scanner only scans the first page then shows an error.
Anyone have this problem as well and any possible solutions?

I think the original poster needs to reinstall the latest software for the printer that came with his printer or directly from HP. Then, install the Apple HP updates.
When he unistalled the HP software, it may have removed the software needed for HP Scan to work properly.
The last software I installed from HP was -> HP_Installer_Officejet_Full_Group05_10.3.dmg
Yes, there have been Apple HP updates, but they never stopped my HP Scan from working.

Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Ink Cartridge Problem Message

Have/will soon "had" instant ink cartridge service. Printer did not recognize that the black ink was out so I didnt get a black ink cartridge. Couldnt wait for the mail service, so purchased all new HP cartridges and installed.
"Ink Cartridge Problem" Message came up and is now stuck in the machine, can't clear it. The machine will not recognize any of the 4 brand new HP inks; that menu item has little red X for each cartridge and each one shows empty.....
Removed all cartridges, cleaned all contacts, unplugged machine, did a "reset" on the menu via HP phone technician.....nope, nada, nothing.
Did all above SEVERAL times. Called HP back..."40 minutes wait time" .. wth...
Anything else? Does HP have to reset my machine to "recognize" regular cartridges???
Thoughts, suggestions? (Besides don't buy HP again....I will not....I should know better by now!)

I understand that you are getting a 'ink cartridge problem' message on your Officejet pro 8630.
I would like to help.
The printer does not have to be reset to recognize regular cartridges.
Try going through the steps in the following document.

Also, did you call technical support, or the Instant Ink department?
If you called technical support at 1-800-474-6836, then I would recommend calling the Instant Ink Department.
