HP drivers website is down US

HI guys ....!@#%^ is wrong with the US hp website???
today 6/15/2014 at 4:43pm west US.///// I tried several times to go at http://www8.hp.com/us/en/drivers.html
but nothing happen....
.... My first impression was that maybe was my internet connection..... but then I tried at other pc.... but was the same issue.
Well after 1/2 hour i tried another hp website like http://www8.hp.com/es/es/drivers.html and works well....
So my question is it US website down????
I know is the father's day,,,, and maybe the hp staff has the day off but I need some drivers ooo well... hope you guys fix that soon...

The drivers.html breaks the lookup.
There was a device lookup that also failed but is now working. HP may have flushed it's internal router tables.

E-mails and websites all down this AM

Hello. I am on vacation and went to update my websites and send some business e-mails home. All of my websites are down. Someone said it might have to do with needing to buy an icloud device but I have no idea what that is -- is this some sort of thing like an ipad or ipod? I hope my computer just did not become unusable. Please advise. I just want my e-mails and websites back up as I have been sending people to view my websites (mostly charity events I organize).

Accordion widget shifting website graphics down when opening

Hi all
I hope you can help. I have an accordion being used at the top of my site. When you click to open / expand the accordion it's shifting all of the website beneath it at the same time.
I've tried changing the sticky footer on the page and website to ticked and unticked but still no luck. Can anyone help please?

If you have placed page elements below accordion then its the normal behavior as Accordion on expansion moves the object below on page length.
But if you have enabled sticky footer on Master and then also the accordion pushes the object down the length of page then it might be possible that you have placed the footer item in some container.
Is it only the footer item going down or any other page elements also have same behavior ?
Without looking at the site , it would be difficult to get an idea.
If you have published the site , please share the site url.

Random websites shut down when i open them

hi,
i was wondering if anyone could help me. there are certain websites (well a majority) that just shut down completely when i go to them. I tried this on firefox and safari. In the past they use to work out fine. I use to be able to go to websites to view videos and now i it shut downs. i can't even get on nba.com, facebook, dictionary.com (a few of the sites), . I ran some virus or spam programs to see if i might have anything on my computer but there is nothing.
Do you think it may be some odd file sitting on my computer... if it is how should i get rid of it or possibly "clean" up my computer?
Im desperate.. nothing seems to work. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Run the Maintenance and Cleaning scripts, reboot your Mac and try those web sites.
And make sure you have enough available drive space: Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop, then click: Get Info. In the Get Info window, click the discovery triangle so it's facing down. You will see; Capacity and Available Make sure you have 10% available disk space, 15% is better. Not enough available drive space and apps crash/freeze.

Website is down and I can´t log into Business Catalysator

I´m trying to get in touch with technical support for Business Catalysator, but I can´t get in touch, they just sent me the link to this forum. My collegue in charge is not availible today, and I really need some instant help.
The page is down with the only message: (This website is not available). The same message when we try to log into admin. I don´t know what to do...

Trouble with website drop down menus

New Imac user. Having trouble getting drop down menus to open on many websites. Any suggestions what I can do?

TFS Azure website is down: Error persists after rollback

I had a website connected with TFS and Azure.
I added another project to that solution and accidentally messed with its nuget packages.
Now I rolled back to the changeset that was before, and the solution in both VS and TFS online looks like that changeset that used to be before.
Anyway, the website is still down, I get
this error:

Which definitely belongs to the old added project which has now been removed
from solution/changeset.
Why does TFS insist on complaining about a problem that doesn't exists in the changeset at all!
Another evidence that this is a bug related to the system. I've created a brand new website on azure and deployed the same website again and works like a charm.
The problem is I don't want to delete and recreate the website because I don't have access to the domain host and its settings. Is there a way to clean an azure website's contents (but the domain settings) and redeploy it?

It definitely looks like a deployment issue.
In the jsFiddle I've attached, the error source is:
LevEl.Quiz.Startup.Configuration(IAppBuilder app) +5
Which is the Owin configuration method of project that isn't supposed to be implemented at all.
Basically I'm looking for a way to clean the website entirely before the deployment (while retaining basic settings such as DNS etc).
Just checking with Kudu (How the cow didn't know it exists!?)
And I do see many unexpected DLLs and other files from previous deployments.
I'm not sure what I should erase in preparation for a new deployment, I mean, what happens if a user formats his entire drive?

Drivers seem to have gone missing from the hp drivers website

Most of the drivers HP used to provide for my laptop via Support Center seem to have gone missing. Some of them can be subsidized by installing the drivers windows update or hardware manufactures provide but for my switchable GPU this seems not to be the case at all. From what I gather the driver HP used to provide was custom. Is there any way I could acquire it? Is this new driver depravation situation permanent or will the old software eventually make a reappearance on the website?

I'm having the same problem finding drivers for my ProBook 4540s. I think hp may be adding more though because I think there were more drivers today than yesterday.

Website was down

We have separate webservers hosting our company website. We built two new webservers and that were hosting a different information for the company. The two newly built servers were added to the Load Balancer as we wanted to have this enabled. But, after
this was added, at the same time the servers that were hosting the company webservers, were down. This is strange, and I am not sure how that would affect this site.
So, what was done was to remove the two newly added web servers from Load Balancer and Shut it down. After the site was working. It does not make sense how this and that would correlate. But, we did turn on the two newly built servers later on and added
it to the load balancer, and everything worked fine. So, I am not sure what would have caused that site to go down?

From your description, do you use azure vm to host your website? If the web site is down, what error message do you received? Please give more information for us to further look at this issue.

Website slowing down a PC

So I made a site on iWeb 08. I want to share it with some friends, but it seems to slow down PC's somewhat significantly. I had a friend proofread it for me and he said that it slowed his computer way down. I think he is using XP with Internet Explorer.
I've read some and it seems that there is a problem with users using IE. Is there much that can be done or should I just let my friends know that they need to buy a Mac

I really like your solution to the problem. Make everyone buy a mac. I know I am trying!
While you wait a few things can help. I place on the bottom of all my pages a line saying that the site is best view by safari or firefox. The problem is not the XP platform so much as it is IE. Another thing is that if they insist on using WWB (Roddy's expression world worst browser) it should be the latest version IE7 and javascript should be enabled.
As for what you can do on your end is remove the nav bar that iWeb makes and replace it by one that you made on your own with hyperlinks to your pages. Check the size of your graphics and the total size of you page.
That should keep busy for a little while, as you wait for your friends to run to the apple store.

What is wrong with SAP's site? I need to check out some courses but the site isn't working. I usually go here:

But that page is down as well. Does anybody have an updated link to the US education site?

Is the Lightroom section of the website currently down? I'm trying to buy Lightroom and every time I try to it loads the page for a split second then dissappears.

Launch iPhoto with the Option held down and create a new library. Import several photos, create a book and try to make a preview PDF of it. If you can then the problem lies with your current library. Since you didn't say what version of iPhoto you're using the following is for iPhoto 11:
Make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and try the three fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
delete iPhoto's cache files that are located in your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
Fix #2
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library.
Select options #1, #2 and #6.
Fix #3
Rebuild the library using iPhoto Library Manager as follows:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Universal print drivers are all missing from HP websites

I see the drivers website has undergone a transition, and the new site is terrible. Some printers that are PS capable no longer have links for PS drivers. The worst issue though, is the universal drivers are completely missing and unavailable, and yet they are now the most important driver as HP has ceased listing individual drivers for so many models. All links go to the PARK, and there are no driver downloads anymore. Even the tutorial video for using PARK includes getting drivers from links that no longer exist on that site.
WE NEED THESE DRIVERS BACK IMMEDIATELY OR WE CAN'T USE YOUR PRINTERS HP!!

Thanks for your patience with me and for the additional information. That was really helpful! I went to the site you noted (www.hp.com/go/upd) and clicked on Download Software. I selected Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit) from the drop-down.
I went to the next page, scrolled down to the Downloads section and I see PCL5 , PCL6, and PostScript (PS) drivers available for download. I clicked on the blue Download button, clicked Run, and got a WinZip Self-extractor. So the downloads appear to be working. These drivers are for Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012, Windows 7.
I feel like I've missed something here as PCL drivers aren't my specialty (as you may have guessed) - but the downloads do appear to be there. Can you take a look and let me know?
