HP Photosmart Prem C410 Series Driver Class Driver Printer Still In Word Drop Down

I have a printer that I no longer wish to use that will not remove itself completely from my system.
I've done all the necessary steps of removing it from the control panel.
I went to printers and devices and right clicked to remove the printer.
The printer still shows up in Microsoft Word with the message "Error - Delete - Offline - 6 documents waiting"
Some of the steps mentioned in the forum are not available to me such as going to "Print Management."
Please assist with this annoying issue.

Hi,
That happens due to some documents stuck in the queue.
Reboot your PC and check if the printer icon disappears.
If it still exists, go to Devices and Printers, right click the printer and select See what's printing.
Click the top Printer menu and select Cancel all documents, then return to Devices and Printers and check if the printer disappeared.

Can't install drivers for HP Photosmart Prem C410 series

OS = windows 7 SP1 64 bit.
Printer = HP Photosmart Prem C410 series.
Driver = PS_AIO_07_C410_FSW_Full_Win_EMEA_140_222-4
in the middle of the install i get the following error:
Fatal error during installation
"sameer.el-khal" is not a valid short file name
please go to http:// www.hp.com/support for troubleshooting information about "fatal error" and "MSI.netdevicemanager40"
Everything craps out from there ...
Got the same error running it general user and as administrator ...
Please help.

HP Photosmart Prem C410 series will not print black

The old cartridge had ink left, but my pages hhad no black. I replaced with brand new cartridges, tried alignment, alignment failed multi times, went to default *#123 and had go thru iintialization all over agin, same results. Went in clean the print head sponge, and then took out all cartridges and put them back in several times,
I have tried to put it in BEST quality and print pages with black text only, text that is BOLD is very very faint like it is the photo black, no black ink at all, pages are blank. Printer has bene working great.

@Pixefinn- I would first do a manual cleaning of the contacts on the cartridges as shown here in solution 3 of this document. Sometimes buildup on the cartridges and the contacts inside the printhead can keep it from performing properly and also cause the machine to produce false error messages. After you have done the manual cleaning and have reinstalled the cartridges, I would run the printhead cleaning utility again.
If after you have completed that process, you find that you are still getting the error message, I would look at the document below. It will address the error message that you mentioned in your post and provide troubleshooting steps to try in an attempt to clear it from the printer.

You cant print to a printer that you physicly turned off. Most network printer have a sleep mode, so leave it on and after a while it should go into a sleepmode. And should wake up when a printjob is being sent.

Why is the scanner on my HP1CD560 HP Photosmart Prem C310 Series not being recognized in my computer ? I have the same printer/scanner/fax at work and I couldn't get it to scan either. They just keep saying No scanners were detected.
And it tells me on the scanner to do it from the computer!! Ugh!!!!! I need it done yesterday! This ePrint has been very disappointing. Print quality is terrible, it always has errors when I try to print, and I continuously have to go to my so-called wireless printer and hit the home button to wake it up! What good is having wireless if I have to go to it? I might as well plug in! Waste of money and can't afford to buy a different one But any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Initial setup of my HP Photosmart Prem c410 printer -- cannot connect to my wireless network. The password is good. There is no MAC address filtering on my wireless router. Help. ;-)

OK, I figured it was a DSL router, but wanted to be sure.
DSL routers are rather non-standard, so we have to relieve them of some control during the printer installation:
1. Unplug the phone line to the router.
2. Restart the router by pulling its power plug out of the back momentarily, then plug back in.
3. Wait for the router to restart.
4. Install your printer, including software on your computer.
5. When the printer is installed and working, plug the phone line back in the router.
6. Restart the router again.

ODBC driver does not appear in drop down list

We created a system DSN using Unix ODBCConfig and the drivers
supplied by IBM in its iSeries Access package. We are trying to
connect to our AS400. We now have Coldfusion installed on SuSe 9.3
Open Enterprise Server. Coldfusion runs fine. When we try to add a
data source in the ColdFusion administrator, the system DSN driver
that we configured does no show up in the drop down list. Did we
miss a step? We have done this succesfully with coldfusion on
Windows 2003 server.

What version of ColdFusion are you running? I know with MX 7,
your individual DSNs may not be listed, ODBC or otherwise, only the
driver types. You are prompted to provide a valid Data Source name,
then to select a valid driver type, which in your case would be
ODBC Socket.

Explain my printers email address, is this something new and not an existing email (i.e. google or yahoo account)

Welcome to the HP Support forums. Don’t worry about being a wireless novice, we all were at one time. I’ll gladly help you with the steps to get your Photosmart C410 printer connected wirelessly. As for printing wirelessly it is the same steps as printing with a USB cable connection.
We need to first connect your printer to your wireless network. Please follow the steps in the Installing the Printer Software in Windows for a Wireless Network Connection document.
I have included a document titled Getting Started with ePrint. It answers your question about the printer’s email address in the section ‘What is ePrint?’ I have included the answer here as well.
To set up ePrint please start by following the steps in the Getting the Printer Claim Code document. Once you have the web services information sheet with your claim code please follow the steps in Setting Up a Custom Email Address for ePrint.
You should now be able to print wirelessly and email your printer.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 won't recognize HP Photosmart Premium C410

My HP Photosmart Premium C410 works with all my applications except Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 - which is great for an imaging program!! The printer is defintely selected as default. However, there are two options avilable on the "print" page of PSE and they are very similar - perhaps indicating an issue. The first on the drop-down is "HP Photosmart Prem C410 series fax", while the second (which I have selected) is "HP Photosmart prem C410 series". Every time I try to print from PSE, it starts up the fax process.....!! Anyone any ideas - all advice gratefully received.

Please try to rename the "HP Photosmart Premium C410 series Fax" to "PS C410 Fax". You can change it by:
Open "Printers"
Right click the HP Photosmart Premium C410 series Fax and selecting rename
If it still is loading the fax when you printer there are few more steps that we can try.

Adobe PSE9 won't recognize HP Photosmart Premium C410 Printer

My HP Photosmart Premium C410 works with all my applications except Photoshop Elements 9 - which is kind of handy for an imaging program!! The printer is definitely correctly selected, as verified from Control Panel - Printers and Faxes. In PSE, under "Print", the first item is "Select Printer". I have selected "HP Photosmart Prem C410 series", which is the second line in the option list. The first line is very similar, being "HP Photosmart Prem C410 series fax". Every time I try to print something, it starts the fax process..... Nothing I try seems to get it onto the printer, rather than the fax. Any advice gratefully received.

PSE9 takes some initial number of character to recognize a printer and send print action to the printer.
In your case both your printer and Fax has same initial name, in such situation PSE get confused. In such situation to come over of this issue do one thing :-
Rename your printer name to some otehr name and then try printing.

HP Photosmart Prem, lost connection to my Mac, cannot reinstall

My printer stopped communicating with my Mac. I ended up deleting it and trying to reinstall it. But it won't install. I tried adding a new printer via the IP address and get as far as trying to configure it but get this error message:
Setting up 'HP Photosmart Prem C410 (HP....)' An error occurred while trying to add the selected printer client-error-not-possible.
HELP any body?

I have some more ideas for you to try. Thanks for letting me know the results and also that the printer is working with your Windows PC, that helps quite a bit.
Download this printer update: HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X
Try this again: Repair disk permissions
Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer.
Re-add the printer and try using the Bonjour protocol, this post from @Sunshyn2005 has the proper screen shot to help you: Re: imac drops off once I connect iPad

Register information on X series driver for encoder

Hi All:
I am working on the X series driver development by using MHDDK. After comparing M series and X series I found that theere is a Gi_Save_Trace bit in register Gi_Command_Register in M series. When it is set, the register goes into the latched mode after the next clock edge to assure valid data was latched. However, I can't find equivalent register bit in all X series counter registers.
Can anyone tell me what is the equivalent register bit for same function that Gi_Save_Trace does?

This procedure is much too complicated for an average user. You know that millions of Wondow XP users are switching to Windows 7. I' sure that most of them are facing similar problems. HP should come with a user friendly solution that solves the above issues. Don't you think?

the X6540A is a Dual Single-Ended Ultra/Wide SCSI (PCI) controller. The controller is only upto 40MB/sec, which might be suficient for a SDLT600 or LTO-2.
Every Single-Ended SCSI device works with this card, but performance would be low when using LVD/SE devices (some LVD devices can't operate in SE mode!)
I would suggest that you call Sun Sales.
I guess that the PCI/PCI-X Dual Ultra320 SCSI Adapter (SG-XPCI2SCSI-LM320) or PCI Dual Ultra3 SCSI Host Adapter (LVD) (X6758A) are a better choice if attaching more recent drives.
