HP Web Jetadmin, PC-CONNECTED printer and Toner level problem

HP Web Jetadmin 10.3.93994 (10.3 SR7) running on Windows Server 2012 (Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0),
HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP is connected via USB to the computer with Windows 7 SR1 64.
The latest drivers installed, SNMP, HP SNMP Proxy_64_10_3_0010 and HPWSProxyService_10_3_1 installed.
HP ToolboxFX shows the toner level, the approximate number of pages remaining, cartridge serial number, etc.
HP SNMP Proxy is not working.
HP WS Proxy runs, HP Web Jetadmin displays all but the state of supplies - writes "not available".
File HPWSProxyServiceLog.log errors and warnings does not contain, at the level "All" has many lines of "Calling UIO for ..." with the result of "Status code is 200".
When printer as networked - this is no problem - Jetadmin shows everything including toner's level.
Does HPWSProxyService_10_3_1 support status of supplies (toner level) for printer HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP?

Bump.
Does no one else use this printer and Web JetAdmin?

  • Help connecting printer and tvs on WRT54g v8

I recently reset my router and settings. My laptop is connected to the internet via wireless, with no problems. However, I am trying to reconnect my wifi printer and tv's, and they will not connect. They pick-up the network, but they say they cannot connect to the access point, or the passphrase is incorrect.
I have tried to look at the network settings on my linksys easyadvisor, but it is mostly blank or n/a, which it never was before. When I go to 192.168.1.1 it shows the correct passphrase. I have no idea what went wrong here! If someone could please help!

Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable. Open the Linksys router setup page.
Go to Wireless tab and click on Wireless security sub tab. Make sure that you have the correct network key/passphrase.
Go to Wireless MAC filter sub tab and make sure that it is disabled.
Try to connect to the wireless network and see if that works.
Make sure that firmware on your router is upgraded to the latest.

  • Small size (A6) paper printing and toner leak(pouring out) issue

We have recently purchased 15 pieces of Hp LaserJet P1102w.
We are printing reciepts of size A6 (1/4 of A4). The use of printers are quite heavy - 200 A6 pages per day.(And no other formats)
After a month of usage we are expiriencing a huge problem. (Now it has been 5 printers in period of 3 weeks):
In Some random printers the toner is pouring out. First inside of the printer and then on the table (there is a convinient opening at the bottom). This happens on one side of the cartridge. And the affected drum is heavily dirty on that side.
We checked all kind of possible causes:
The retailer pointed us to this link, that states: "
HP does not recommend printing large quantities of small or narrow paper. Printing large quantities of small or narrow paper can cause toner to leak from the print cartridge and damage the printer or cause print-quality problems."
but this is for HP LaserJet 4200, 4300 Series Printers
    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:vGQOfpKgjmUJ:h20564.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hps...
My question is: is it true that heavy printing of small paper size can cause this problem? And how probable is it?
What else could have caused this?
    Thank You

  • Oki c9800PS printer and Snow Leopard problems printing

I have an OKI c9800PS printer and I must get it working urgently. Was working fine before installing Snow Leopard 10.6. Neither Apple nor OKI have been able to help so far. Does anyone have a solution? I keep getting an error message that says 'software was not installed correctly. Uninstall and reinstall.' I have done this more than six times so far.

After reading another post I tried the same suggestion but changing the name for my own printer and it works with Snow Leopard. (The original post of this solution is at
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2141179&tstart=0 - Matt's answer)
    SOLUTION:
The Oki installer has set permissions incorrectly.
    Open the Terminal application (/Applications/Utilities).
Copy and paste the following command into a Terminal window:
    sudo chown -R root:admin /Library/Printers/Oki/
Then hit the Return or Enter key. Enter your administrator's password at the prompt.
NOTE: Make sure the printer name, in my case 'Oki', is exactly the same spelling and case. When I put in OKI it didn't work. I had to put in 'Oki' as in my Printers folder.

  • Connecting Printer and HDD to Airport Extreme (windows)

I have gone step by step and the bonjour keeps freezing when I tell it to finish the printer setup. The computer will recognize the printer but will not print. I also tried connecting a usb hdd to the AE and in the utility it shows up but not under my computer. I will say I am pretty dumb when it comes to network drives so a little help would be big!
    Thanks

  • Problem with usb hub 3.0 to connect printer and hd

    Hello,
I have problems with using a usb 3.0 hub to connect a HD and a printer to my Time Capsule. HD is found and works properly. Printer is visible in programms but doesnot work.
    How to fix this.
    Ciao Pieter

OK, plug the hub back in with the printer.. delete the current setup on the computer and try reinstalling it.
But it tells you something if the printer is not recognised..
Why don't you just share it from the computer.. USB printer are not supposed to be plugged into a network device. They are designed as local printers.

  • Connecting printer and internet via ethernet port

My iMac has only one ethernet port, and previously I had the printer hooked up to it. Now we have high speed internet but it requires the same port. When we try switching back and forth, the internet still works but the printer doesn't.

    Hi
I would recommend that you invest in an inexpensive router, which should include a number of (commonly 4) ethernet ports. This will live between your high-speed modem and all your network devices, including your computer and your printer. You can then, of course, add more wired computers , and they will all be able to access the printer.
D-Link and Linksys are decent brands for simple home routers.

  • Canon MP510 All in one printer and Snow Leopard problem...

    Hiya,
After looking at almost all the chat out there nothing has worked.
I have deleted the MP510 printer from my system prefs and ever since then I get the message "Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off. Check status. Scanner driver will be closed. 155.0.0". I cannot add the printer back into the list as it simply does not exist. Even with a new USB cable!
I have installed all the latest Canon software and upgrades: Easy-PhotoPrint EX_321; MP Navigator 304; PrinterDriverMP510102600 & ScanGear MP510 12131 to no avail, even after multiple restarts.
Can anyone help this newbie connect to the Canon printer please?

Hello and welcome to Apple Discussions.
When you select to add the printer, if it does not appear in the Default view of the Add Printer browser then there could be a problem with the MP510, especially since you have already tried a new USB cable.
Some additional things that you can try
    - turning the MP510 off for several seconds and then back on again
    - trying a different USB port on the Mac
    - resetting the printing system (described below) and trying to add the MP510 again
    - with the MP510 connected to the USB port, opening System Profiler and checking the Hardware > USB section
If none of the above helps then please reply...
    Pahu
*How to Reset the Printing System*
    1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
    2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
    3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse (or right click if supported).
    4. Click "Reset printing system ..."
    5. Restart your Mac
This will remove your print queues but not your printer drivers. So you will only need to add your printer queues again.

  • I am trying to configure an iPad to print via Airprint to a HP Laserjet Pro CP1225mw printer and are having problems

Currently I am able to print to the printer via Airprint but because the iPad has a priority of Wi-Fi over 3G, when I want to browse the Internet at the same time via the iPad's 3G connection it will not which makes it hard to print pages from websites. I have the option of adding the printer to the internal wireless network for the organization but I am trying to avoid it as iOS-based devices get constantly prompted for username and password when trying to authenticate HTTPS connections and this may prove an irritation for the user that is going to get this printer. Also I want to restrict who can access this printer as it is mean for use for one specific person in the organization.

Some printers support adhoc networks.  This would keep it off your corporate net.  Of course, I haven't tried this.
    For example HP D110.

I don't know if this will help  you or not but could be worth looking into.

  • Printing and scanning size problems (half size)

    Hello,
I am having an issue with my Pixma MP170.  When printing multiple pages or scanning a paper document, the size come out really small all of a sudden and two pages will be together in one print or scan.   I looked for updated drivers but that doesn't look to be the issue and the problem pesists.
I tried to reset the printer to default but nothing.
    Not sure how to proceed.
    Thanks for any suggestion.

I have had something very like your problem.
Mine is printing quarter size in landscape and is also not scanning or doing copies at the moment..
I can find no way of setting it and it ignores all settings sent from the computer.
It printed one test page correctly and once I tried printing a small text file it came out small and in landscape and now even the test page is also small and also in landscape.
I am tempted to look inside for an engineering jumper or backup battery.
    Mine is an MP270.

  • Internet Connection Sharing and NFS route problem?

My new box is yet to gets its wireless card so following the wiki I have painlessly set up ICS - this works great.  The ICS host connects to my wireless router on wlan0 and to the ICS client on eth0.  The ICS client attaches on eth0.
From the ICS client I can ping eth0 and wlan0 on the host and also the router but I can't access the NFS shares on the host - should I be able to access them on both wlan0 and eth0 - even if I bring down wlan0?  I'm guessing I need another iptables rule...

I'm not quite sure I understand whats happening here....  So here is a "diagram":
    ICS cli --- eth0 ---> ICS host --- wlan0 ---> router ---> internet
Yeah?  From this, there is no reason for wlan0 to affect NFS from cli to host, assuming everything has been set up properly with the routing tables.
If you disable all iptables stuff (which is how I'm assuming you have the routing working), does NFS work?  Have you set up your /etc/exports properly?
Can I see your iptables stuff as well?
And on a side note: I recently chucked NFS in favour of sshfs, it's much better for me personally.  Considered that?

  • Waveform Problem and Input Level problem with Onyx 1620

I was reading an earlier post and saw that someone was having trouble with the gray boxes for the loops as compared with GB. I am also having that problem, but with my actual recordings. Is there a way to show the waveform instead of the gray box on the main screen?
Also i've had another problem with my Onyx 160 firewire mixer. It seems that i have to turn the trim at least 3/4s or higher to get just a small read in Logic Express. I have the input on the computer turned all the way up and it still hasn't changed anything. I also used the main gain on the firewire card and turned it all the way up, but still no change. Does anyone have any experience using the Onyx with Logic? Could you give me some tips?

    Hey Matt,
    welcome to the forum!
Well it seems that you've seen the question but not the answer. :o)
Import the audio from the audio menu>import audio file, instead of the import from the file menu.
About the Onyx, I don't have a clue.
    best regards,
    Jorge

Hello I installed Web Jetadmin on a testserver and everythings fine. Now I installed it on another Server (Windows 2008 R2 x64). The webadmin cant find any printerqueues on my printservers. On the testserver there was no problem.

    berootale,
I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .

  • Trouble Printing or Scanning? Try the HP Print and Scan Doctor

Are you having trouble when you try to print or scan with your Deskjet, Officejet, or Photosmart printer or All-in-One?
Does your print job get “stuck” and never come out of your printer?
Are you getting an error message when you try to scan?
HP suggests that you download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. While not all types of printing and scanning communication problems are addressed with this software utility, many common problems are resolved. This utility can be used to troubleshoot and in some cases directly fix common connectivity problems experienced with many of HP’s desktop printers and all-in-one devices when used on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, and Win 8 systems (administrator privileges are necessary in order to run the utility).
If the HP Print and Scan Doctor detects missing or incompatible software parts, the utility will offer to uninstall the current parts so that a subsequent reinstall process will go smoothly.  The uninstall / reinstall process usually resolves printing and scanning connectivity issues with a minimum of further fuss.
Get it here:  HP Print and Scan Doctor
Please Give HP Your Feedback!  If you use the HP Print and Scan Doctor, HP would like to hear from you afterward  – there’s a survey link built right into utility and it only takes a minute or two.  Your ideas on how to improve the Print and Scan Doctor help HP design new features and enhancements for all of our customers.  Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Do you have a networked printer?
If your printer is network connected rather than connected via USB, you may be experiencing network related connectivity issues.  Any network connectivity issues must be addressed first.  The HP Print and Scan Doctor will also check for and help you resolve network issues that previously required a separate utility (the HP Network Diagnostic Utility).  With the HP Print and Scan Doctor this is no longer necessary!  HP has combined all features of the Print Diagnostic, Scan Diagnostic, and Network Diagnostic utilities into our next generation utility!
The HP Print and Scan Doctor runs on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, and Win 8.  You will need administrator privileges in order to run the utility.
Additional information on using HP Diagnostic Utilities can be found here:
