Sync it to your ipad. Open itunes, connect ipad, select what you want, sync.

CHeck out iTunes Match which has an annual fee of £21 or thereabouts. You can store a maximum of 25,000 songs there and they all become available on your other kit, iPhone, iPad and iPod. I know it works as I have over 23000 songs uploaded of which only a few we're bought through iTunes.
it works by comparing your music to the whole iTunes music dadata base so you access the same tunes that you could get from iTunes. If you have obscure stuff, it uploads your own music to the cloud as a copy.
I Find it incredible that on my iPhone with its 16gb memory I can view almost 200 gb of music (ie my 23000 songs) and play any of them. Anything I add to iTunes becomes available via the cloud fairly quickly from a few minutes or a little longer if adding a lot.
The first time you use it it will take quite a while to match your music if you have a lot, but after that it is all automatic. Read the stuff on the apple site. Your PC needs to be at least running Vista. I recommend it and at less than 50p a week it's good value.

How do i access my itunes account, i had an iphone with loads of music and apps. lost it but now i have a new one given to my by my gfriend.
When i load up itunes and sign in none of my media is there in the libary. although i can see my previous purchases.

pls helpApps and ibooks you should be able to re-download for free, assuming that they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account that you originally used to buy/download them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Music bought from iTunes can only currently be re-downloaded if you are in the US, and I assume that you are in Carlisle here in England in which case you won't be able to re-download music.
Have you still got the purchases on your computer, or on a backup that you can copy back onto the computer and then load into iTunes ? -

For the new computer, the simplest way is to download the trial and enter your serial number into that when installing. -
I used a partitioned HDD for time machine, using a partition already containing other data files. I am now no longer able to view that partition in Finder. Disk Utility shows it in grey and "not mounted". Any suggestions of how to access the files? Does using time machine mean that that partition is no longer able to be used as it used to be?
HDD is a Toshiba 1TB, partitioned into two 500GB partitions.

Purchased iTunes media artwork not showing up in finder?
I've scoured google and the threads here on the ASC, but nothing has worked. At first I did not notice the pattern, but now I realize it. None of the album artwork that is embedded into my purchased itunes media displays in finder. All of my artwork displays perfectly in iTunes, but not in finder. I started having this problem today, seemingly randomly. I hadn't downloaded any updates to any applications, nor had I installed any new applications. The only thing I did was import four new cds (ALAC format) and the album artwork shows up fine in finder for those. To be honest the problem could have been going on earlier but I did not notice this until today when I went and looked for my new albums to verify the artwork had been embedded properly.
I tried everything under the sun, including deleting the album artwork cache that Finder supposedly shares with iTunes in the iTunes folder. I downloaded a program called Onyx that someone suggested and rebuilt ALL folder window displays, resetting all folder views. I cleared every cache there was on the computer, and rebuilt all databases, including the spotlight index database. I have literally rebuilt all databases that are rebuildable and cleared every single cache there is (including in my /user/library folder) and the problem still persists. I don't know what it is about the purchased itunes media that doesn't display in finder, but it bothers me. It's embedded.
The weirdest part of it is that in Time Machine, all of the artwork displays in the Finder icons and Finder CoverFlow just fine. But when I restore from Time Machine back into my iTunes media folder, the icons go back to the generic sound file icon in Finder (coverflow, quickview, file icons, everything). The only place the album artwork displays is in iTunes itself. I tried using Doug's applescript for re-embedding artwork, to no avail. I'm at a complete loss.
Even if I manually browse to my time machine backup folder on my external HDD, the icons show up just fine. It's just the purchased files that are actually in my iTunes media folder that don't display.
Some info on my setup:
2013 macbook pro w/ retina 15" 2.7ghz model
OSX ML 10.8.4
iTunes v 11.0.4 (4)
I checked for available updates, there are none, I'm completely up to date. I'm new to mac this month, coming from a long line of Windows computers, so I'm not completely familiar with all the nooks and crannies of OSX but I feel like I exhausted a fair amount of my thinkable options here.I have given it several days now and still no joy. Details are as follows:
1) I have two collections:
a) In one collection: All files are Apple Lossless (ALAC) with embedded artwork.
- There is NOTHING else in this collection - no other media - nada.
- This collection is about 380GB
b) The other collection is a mix of compressed m4a's, audiobooks, and iPad apps.
- The music part of this collection is about 170GB
- The audibook part of this collection is about 43GB
2) In both cases, the iTunes library and media are in a subdirectory of a Pegasus R4 (4TB RAID 5 array).
3) Issue manifests itself with both collections on on both my systems, each of which has a Pegasus R4 connected via the Thunderbolt port
- MacBook Pro 15 Retina with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4
- Mac Mini with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and Server 2.2.1
Again, for my case...artwork shows up perfectly in iTunes and in other tools (Clementine, Logitech Media Server), but not in Finder.
Also - tools that use the Finder's mechanism for accessing album art (Plex, for example) do NOT work properly.
I wonder if it is related to having the media housed on an external (if you can call what thunderbolt does "external") drive. -
i had bought iphone 4 from singapore and now i am relocated to india.....there is some hardware problem in the phone due to which i m nt able to use it.....how do i give the phone for repair and in which country?
The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party -
When starting Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 I am all of a sudden getting a message that says "One or more of the scratch disks don't have read/ write access" and now the app won't operate - how do I fix this so I can use Final Cut Pro?
Glad you found the answer. But something seems wrong. FCP should be able to assign the scratch disk to your startup drive. It's not advisable, but it should be possible. You might want to try and figure out what's going on before what ever's going on cause other problems.

I purchased an iPhone 4s few weeks ago here in Pakistan and now I can't activate it because it says the this iPhone was lost and erased. Sign is with the Apple ID that was used to erase this iPhone. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

Dear Apple Users. I have my ITunes on a PC and also have an IPAD and IPHONE. When I purchase music on my ITunes its appears on my IPAD when I sync. However it is not appearing on my IPHONE when I sync. Any ideas or thoughts greatfully accepted. S
Check the music tab on the iPhones iTunes page, and make sure "sync all music" is checked. If you chose only to sync certain music, new music will not automatically show up.

I purchased an ipad from a dealer on ebay with a 9 month warranty still on it. I set it up and decided to return it and buy the new Ipad instead. How can I be sure I didn't activate the warranty, or deactivate if it has been activated?
Sorry, I can't tell what it is you're trying to ask. What does the warranty have to do with your intention to return the iPad (to whomever) and get another one?
There's no way to deactivate a warranty.
The warranty transfers with the machine, has nothing to do with the owner.
Look around in the Support pages, you can figure out a way to type in your serial number and see what your current warranty status is. -

One computer iTunes can support multiple Apple IDs. One iPod can also support multiple IDs. Don't do an "erase and sync." Simply add your Apple ID to the computer's iTunes and to the iPod. The only nuisance is app updating, especially if you do the updates from the computer, rather than from the iPod.

Is there a way to purchase itunes books for someone else as a gift (Christmas) and give them the codes or printout receiptwithout automatically downloading the purchase for me? Or is an itunes giftcard the only way to go?
TV shows will only appear in the cloud if you are in a country where they can be re-downloaded from the store (you can't add them yourself), in which case they will appear in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for re-downloading. But they will only appear there if you are in a country where they can be re-downloaded, and then only as long as the TV company leaves them in the store (content providers occasionally remove their items).
