HT1498 I rent a movie and I can see it.  And I go to iTunes Store, check for rentals and its not loading the movie.

I rent a movie and I can't see it.   I went to itune store and check for rentals, but its not loading the movie.  What should I do?

I went to check for rentals on Apple TV to find rental. There is no support and no resolve. The screen just kept loading, never showing the movie after I purchased it. This is the second time this has happened to me. Very disappointed.
My have to look for alternative..

  • Can't finish watching iTunes rental movie after pausing - can't restart movie via Settings - iTunes Store - Check for Rentals?

I rented a movie from itunes using Apple tv. Half way through, I paused it and then accidentally hit menu instead of play. i was  directed to settings - iTunes store- check for rentals and now its just spinning and i can't watch the rest of the movie.

Backing out of the movie can cause it to be flushed from the system as it is not stored. There seems to be a bug with the check for rentals function, try logging out and back into your account.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals.

  • HT1657 watching a movie on Apple TV and it just stops in the middle of it.  Try settings and check for rental and just get the spinning wheel for over 30 minutes.

Can't seem to finish a movie on AppleTV.  It just stops in the middle of movie and returns to menu.  Try to check for rentals under settings like it says to when we try and download movie again and all I get is a spinning wheel.  At least the second this has happened in the middle of a movie.  Beginning to think AppleTV is junk!

You may want to report the issue you've had with your rental to the folks in our iTunes Store.

  • I cannot download a song it says it has been corrupted and must go to store check for downloads and I do that and it says the same thing.  will not download I paid for it and can't download

I purchased a song but when downloading it says it is corrupted.  So I go to store and check for downloads and it does the same thing

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • I have an Ipod touch 3rd generation and for some reason its not holding the battery charge is there something i can do to help keep the charge longer

i have a ipod touch and its not holding its charge I have charged it over night and then used it say for like an hour or two and the battery is drained .is there something I can do tohelp prolong the battery use.

Try to set it up "as new device" and don't use the latest backup afterwards. Check your setings as well: Apple - Batteries - iPod
If the problem persits, you may need a new battery.

  • Can't open passbook. No connection iTunes store. Changing date/time is  not THE solution.

I can' t open passbook. There is no connection to THE iTunes store. I changed The year into 2013 as recommended, but it did not offer THE solution to THE problem. Does anyone knows what to do?

Same here.  I've tried all of the 'solutions' I've found and the only thing that has 'worked' is manually adding a card—but then that's the only card I can see.  Trashing the card returns me to the 'Cannot connect to iTunes' situation.  iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 scheduled to arrive next week.
I'd think that this Passbook problem along with the 'Maps' fiasco has put another ding in Apple's reputation.

  • Apple TV is on. Can't download movie because it asks for an old charge card that was stolen and account was closed.  Info is correct on ITunes store but how do I change it on the Apple TV?

Apple TV is on and working.  Can't download a movie because it asks for an old charge card that has been discontinued.  When I went into my account, all is accurate.  But it is not accurate on Apple TV.  How do I fix this?

Try logging out of your account on Apple TV and signing back again.

  • Where can i find MS Project for mac? its not in the store

I have not been able to find a downloadable copy of MS Project 2010 for my macbook

You could also try ProjectLibre, a free Open Source replacement for MS Project which works directly on Mac.
    Available here - http://www.projectlibre.org/
That's cute. Now I'll have yet another argument against the doomsday apocalyptics for running Java on my Mac. So there! And free always trumps all the costly native alternatives found in the Store, or having to pay for a Windoze license PLUS MS Project.
If you MUST have the real deal, virtualization using VirtualBox instead of Parallels Desktop is free. Just need to pay for the Windows license (which you also need with Parallels).

  • I can not access the movie I rented

I tried to rent iron man 3 tonight on Apple TV, when I went to play it I was told I already rented this movie and I needed to got to Settings>Itunes Store>Check for Rentals but nothing is there.  All I get is a wheel of death for the last hour trying to check.
Anything I am doing wrong or is this a common problem since the last update?
