I would like to ask anyone, my iphone 4s suddenly charges very slow, took me 24 hrs to charge it to 100%

Hello arsbaut26,

Charging the battery
You can charge your battery in several ways:
For the quickest charge, connect the device to a power outlet using the USB cable that came with the device and an Apple USB power adapter.
Connect the device directly to a USB port on your computer (not an external keyboard) using the USB cable that came with the device. Your computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode; otherwise, the battery may drain instead of charge.
Depending on the computer, your device may charge quicker if you remove all USB devices except the keyboard and mouse.
If using a portable computer, make sure it is plugged in to power and that the display (or lid) is open. If the display is closed, the computer may go into standby, sleep, or hibernation mode and the device may not charge.
Connect the device to an externally-powered USB hub.For the quickest charge, you may need to disconnect other USB devices.
Have a nice day,
Mario

  • IPhone 3GS battery drains FASTER than iPhone 3G - Charges SLOWER!

I'm confirming the BATTERY life issue that others are experiencing in the IPhone 3GS I received and have been using since this past Friday.
Step 1 Solution: Condition battery by draining and charging 3X.
Step 2 Solution: go to Apple retail store and ask to swap the handset due to battery life issue.

Your step 1 solution is a great starting point. Keep in mind MOST if not all Lithium Ion batteries require several COMPLETE charge/discharge cycles before they attain their highest capacity.
My 3G iPhone got its BEST battery life about 3 weeks after I got it. Only recently (11months later) has the battery started to get weaker. Even still, my 3GS battery after 2 days still lasts longer than my 3G does...
Keep it working. Give it a week and then see how it goes.

  • Iphone 5C is slow charging

Why does it take my iphone 5C so slow to charge?

Solution Iphone batter slow charge SOLUTION
Just go to settings > reset > 'reset all settings'
This is the solution to get the Iphone back to normal (quick) charging!! 100% worked for me after anoying 2 weeks of figuring out WHY it charged sooo slow! You won't lose data/contacts. Only WiFi passwords and some basic settings, but this is not a big deal compare to the slow charge problem! Success!!

  • If I use a converted-iPhone-charger (USA to UK), will it charge slower?

If I use a converted-iPhone-charger (USA to UK), will it charge slower?
One of my mates in UK is using a converter and his iPhone 3 is charging slower, and we don't know what seems to be the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

The Apple supplied chargers are universal chargers, can be used anywhere. Just use an adapter to plug them in, but do not use a converter. If other iPhones on this set-up charge normally, then most likely, the battery is showing signs of age.

  • HT1665 Can iPhone car charger be used for latest iPad?

Can iPhone car charger be used for new iPad?

Probably not. The iPhone charger is 5W whereas the iPad requires a 10W charger. The iPhone car charger will probable charge the iPad, but very slowly.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • HT4327 Can iPhone 4 charger be used for charging iPad2

    Hi!
Can iPhone 4 charger be used for charging iPad 2 ?

It can BUT it will be Very Slow...  Best to use the iPad Charger if you can...

  • Will iPhone battery charger work with my iPad 2 ?

Will iPhone battery charger work with my iPad 2 ?

It does work but it's not recommended:
    iPhone charger is 5W
    iPad needs 10W
So, yes you can charge an iPad but the iPhone charger will get spoiled and the charging will be very slow.
    Hope this helps,
    Ricc

Do you actually mean the white cable with a lightning plug on one end and a USB on other
If so that is not the charger ,that is the cable
The charger is the device that plugs into the mains socket
    If so
cable may be faulty if less than 12 months old take it to Apple Store genius bar for checking

  • First iPhone battery charge - average time?

    Hello all!
So I know that the battery for the iPhone will charge until full and then automatically charge no more but I'm just wondering how long this generally takes? I've had it on the charger for about 3 hours now and it's still charging so an estimation in time would be much appreciated!
    Thanks!
    Cat

If you are using the wall charger and not a computer USB port it should take about 4 hours with the iPhone not in use, longer if you are using data or playing interactive games.

  • IPhone will charge but not be recognised by iTunes or iPhoto, other iPhones will though with same cable, How can i fix it?

Suddenly my iphone stopped being recognised by the Mac, ive tried other iphone which work so I know the cable and itunes work but my iphone is simply not picked up.
I dont know why although in june 2010 I got it slightly wet but it dried out and worked again about 5 days later if thats related?
I have no idea what to do and my tech specs are:
    Macbook pro 2011 late
Newest version of Lion OS X
    iTunes at newest version
    iPhone with os 5.0.1

I had the same issue, my iphone would charge when i plugged it in but the computer would not pick it up, so i read this forum and other ones as well as went through the apple approved methods of trying to fix it and did all of them, then today my iphone charge ran down because i hadn't taken the time to plug it in to charge and it died, then when i plugged it in and it got it's life back and was charging, the computer read it,
so i recommend letting the charge completely run out until your iphone dies then plug it in.

  • Can i use my iphone 5 charger for the ipad air

Can I use my iphone 5 charger for the ipad air?

It's really not recommended. The iPhone's 5w charger does not output enough current to properly charge the battery. It -may- charge but if it did, it would charge the iPad very slowly.
This would be like trying to fill a bucket of water (iPad) with a squirt gun (5w charger)
Also under iOS 7, the charging requirements are much stricter than iOS 6. You'll likey get an error message if you try.

  • Is Apple going to address the issue with the IPhone 5 charger port?

    Hi all
I have had an IPhone for about 4 years and have had my current iPhone 5 for just over a year,I never had any problems until recently. Just before Christmas I started having issues with my IPhone not charging, I bought a new charger and the problem continued so I went into the Apple store in Newcastle, they pulled some dust out of the charger port and the issue appeared to be resolved. However after Christmas it happened again, and again I went to the Apple store, they did the same thing and the phone worked fine for a month. However, this last week the problem has come back, this time when I took the phone into the store, they tried pulling dust out the port but the phone would still not charge, I was then told that as the phone is out of warranty there is nothing they can do other than charge me £209 to fix it!!
What concerns me is that after speaking to other iPhone users and doing some online research I have discovered this is a seriously common problem. So now through no fault of my own, I am left with a phone, which doesn't work and costs me £48 a month. Another concern is that I originally took the phone to the store with this problem before my warranty ran out and was given a 'temporary fix', which made the phone last untill just after my warranty has ran out!
I am angry and disappointed, this issue needs to be addressed as the Phones appear to be like a ticking time bomb waiting to break, and for those of you like me, who this happens to you after the warranty is up, you are elft with no solution other than to pay £209!!!!

Or talk to the store manager or Apple Customer Relations and explain that you brought the phone in twice before the warranthy expired for the same problem and that there was no permanent solution, though if clearing out the debris fixed it previously, it's perhaps unlikely that they'll think it a defect. You can try, though. Just complaining here will accomplish nothing since we're all fellow users in these forums.
    Regards.
