My daughter purchased some coins for subway surfers which is an app on the iphone.  There was a charge for $.99 and a charge for $19.99.  I would like to have them removed please and not be charged the fee.

To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your phone via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off'

    Open the Mac App Store on the other Mac and in the Quick Links sign into your account. See if the Mountain Lion purchase is among hidden apps in the iCloud area of your account info.

    I purchased an HD video from itunes but wanted to download the SD video. The HD download is extremely long. I tried purchasing the SD video version but itunes says that I have already purchased it, even though it is the HD version.     Where are you, you only have a movie section under purchased in the US. Are you sure that the movie that you purchased has an ST version.

    I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP!  Yessssss!!!
    I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
    I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
    Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
    Shut down your Mac.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
    Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
    Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
    I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process.  Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal.  No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

    I purchased a ringtone from an artist and was charged 3xs for it.  I would appreciate a credit for this mistake.  Usually itunes will alert you if your purchasing the same ringtone.  This of course  is for my iphone 4s.

  • IWorks not purchased in app store, now I have to pay again for the apps??

    Long ago I purchased iWork together with my laptop (macbook pro). Now, I get a message in Pages, Numbers and Keynote that there is a new version available. So I wanted to download it, but the app store makes me pay for them! The full price! Why? The app store does recognise that I have the iWorks apps, but says I didn't purchase them in the app store, so I have to pay for them again! This is really stupid, does anyone know how this is possible? And what I can do to update without having to pay a lot of money to buy all the three apps again?

    There are several reasons why the updates don't show as free for those who already have iWork '09 installed.
    1. You must have iWork '09 apps installed & they must be updated to the x.3 version. You can also download the standalone updater from this page.
    2. If you are not using English as the primary language for your Mac, change to English & run Software Update. You can then switch back to your preferred language.
    3. Go to Mac App Store (MAS) > Click on Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads. You will need to individually click into each application > Click update > enter in your Apple ID & password and then it will start updating.
    4. Open App Store on your Mac & look at the buttons under Keynote, Pages & Numbers. If it does not say “Update” click Account under Quick Links, enter your password & click “View Account.”  Next, click the “Reset” button to the right of “Reset all warnings for buying and downloading” at the bottom of this page, & click Done. Check your updates tab & iWork & iLife updates should now appear.
    These are the ones I've seen work for others.

    No, this has nothing to do with Apple or iTunes.
    You are attempting to use a device unsupported by Apple or iTunes with an app written by some other developer to emulate an Apple device.  Talk to the app developer.
    If you have an ATV, AirPort Express, or some other supported AirPlay receiver and the AirPlay icon is not appearring, then it is an issue that would be appropriate to be discussed here.

    Just purchased 4 itouchs and now they are releasing the 3.0 update. (actually I have only opened one the others are grad gifts.) Does anyone know if we get a grace period like on the laptops? Or at least I can use one update for all of them?

    You will have to purchase the upgrade and I believe you will have to purchase the upgrade for each ipod touch.
    There is no indication that ipod touches sold after June 17th will come with 3.0.

    Why is itunes so difficult to navigate around?

    You will need to connect the iPod to a computer's iTunes, and you may need to put it into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPod and restore / resync the content to it.
    If it's done via computer that it hasn't been synced to, and therefore doesn't have a backup on it, then from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 :
    If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
