Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and tis now relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

I'm from VietNam, i have some problem to be solved and i will tell you detail.
I have got help from my friend to create ID iTunes US for me because my computer notified error "please contact apple support to complete transaction". Then he gave ID to me and i want to edit some information but it notified that message again. So i use VPN to done it. Few days later, i have earned gift card for my ID and i have to purchase coin in-app (clash of clan) but the message repeat again. I try to use VPN to purchase it but useless. I have contacted to apple support (he is Kretz) 2 times but it isn't fixed. I hope that time will be success, it will be fixed by you or you can guide me how to fix it.

I have just upgraded to an iphone 4s and whenever I receive a message ,notification or the alarm goes off the camera flash goes of as well. Does anyone know how to disable this. No one else I know with this phone has this happen

I set a restrictions passcode and have completely forgotten it. I have tried to reset with iTunes but it just clears out my phone and when I turn it back on its still locked in the restrictions menu. U can't do a reset on your phone without it... So I don't know what to do.. Help!!!
There is no default code.
- Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes. For how to restore: iTunes: Restoring iOS software
You have to either:
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod -

My two year old grandson deleted a few apps on my phone, including my music. I synced my phone, and everything seemed to syc ok, including my music.
When I checked my phone, the deleted apps were back on except my music. When I clicked on the Music icon, there was no music there, just a message saying "No Content". You can download music from the iTunes Store. Have tried a few times to get my music back on, but to no avail. Even tried re-setting my phone, but this didn't work either. Can anybody help me? Can't think of what else I can do.
Pearl1947I had the same problem today. Previewed several songs on my Mac (Mountain Lion & signed in with Apple ID). Preview history of what I just played synced to my iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 4 (both IOS 6.0.1) ok but history did not show up in iTunes 11.0.1 ("You don't currently have any preview history"). Then previewed songs on my iPad. Once again, previews showed up on iPad and iPhone but not on Mac. I then cleared the Preview History on my iPad, which also cleared the phone.
I then previewed several songs on the iPad. WONDERS! Now the iPad previews are syncing to the Mac! I previewed several songs on the Mac and these previews now show up in my Mac Preview History, as well as the iPad and iPhone histories.
See if clearing all your History works for you! -
I have followed the Apple Support Section Article HT 4527 and have moved itunes media onto an external Hard Drive. The complete file is 103GB in size.
I have downloaded the latest itunes onto my new PC.
When I follow the article and try moving the itunes file onto the new PC, I am informed that there is insufficient space on my new PC.
In any case, like my old system, I want to leave my music on the external HDD and just have the music library displayed in itunes when I click on the "Music" folder.
How can I get itunes on the new computer to interogate my external HDD to just list the library and leave the music on the external HDD?you can do this by keeping the external hard drive connected and doing the following
-hold shift key down on computer while opening iTunes and a prompt will appear to choose a library
-select choose library, iTunes should bring up your explorer windows where you can search for the external HD
-after you find the external HD find the iTunes folder you just copied to it
-after opening the iTunes folder look for the file that says iTunes library.itl or if you can't see that extenstion just look for a document looking thing in the iTunes folder that shows up as a database file
-double click the database file and boom iTunes should load your library without having to copy it to the computer
PS: do make sure that if you are going to do it this way, make sure that the external HD is connected at all times, because if you don't then you will get exclamation marks next to your iTunes songs
double PS: if you are unsure how to find out if the iTunes library file is a database file just right click it and choose properties and under the type it should say database file
