HT201272 Step 7 says to click the download icon. But I don't have a download icon option. Help!
Songs purchased from the iTunes store cut off half way. Folks have suggested downloading them again, but I have followed the steps and I don't have a "download icon" to click. I have the latest version of iTunes. Any suggestions?

I have uninstalled iPhoto and reinstalled from the app Store, but still don't have the cards, calendar etc option under Share. Any other suggestions please?

If you don't see the 'send reset info' button on the page where you can change them then I assume that you don't have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. As you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset. You could try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security

Do you have the "Green Arrow" icon on one of your toolbars? That usually will list your most recent downloads with a button to open the folder where they are saved.
If you don't have that, you can open the full download list using either:
* Ctrl+j
* Tools > Downloads
* History > Show All History, then click Downloads in the left column
Can you find the download listed there and click the "Open Containing Folder" button?
Are you downloading Flash or Acrobat/Reader?

For Acrobat/Reader, you may not need an update.
Firefox's plugin check site only recognizes the Adobe XI (11) series as current, but if you have checked for updates in your Adobe Reader X or Adobe Acrobat X product (Help > Check for Updates) then you do not need to update the plugin. For this older Reader/Acrobat version, please rely on Adobe for information on available updates and not the plugin check site. -
Just got an imac and am trying to transfer itunes library from dell pc using home share method. All goes well until the end when directions say to click import button. I don't see one anywhere. If I shut down itunes in the pc the library also disappears from the imac. Am I doing something wrong?

check the lower right corner of the iTunes window
if you don't see this while the homeshared library is loaded, home sharing hasn't been set up properly.

You do not need an add-on to do this, you can get it by changing a hidden preference.

I can't figure out how to open Acrobat XI Pro. It shows that it's downloaded in the CC dropdown but I can't find it anywhere on my machine. I've tried re-downloading it but nothing seems to happen. I've uninstalled all my old Acrobat versions thinking that would solve it but it didn't.

you have the purchased (not subscription) version of lr 6 (as an upgrade to lr5).
if all that is correct, then when you start your lr 6 installation you will be prompted for the lr 6 serial number. if lr 5 is not installed you will then be prompted for your lr 5 serial number.
if you enter the correct number at the correct time, installation should proceed. -

If you haven't got Mountain Lion, open the App Store and purchase Mountain Lion. While its installer is being downloaded, make a backup of your data and check that your applications are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com
When its download finishes, the Mountain Lion installer will show up, so follow the steps. After upgrading, you will see the AirPlay menu on the menu bar.

You have no iCloud since that requies iOS 5 If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes. You need to deauthorize all your computers, even dead one and the authorize the ones you want. You can only deaulthorize all once a year. For how to deauthorize all see:

Asking to enter a device password in the access point but I don't have an access point
I installed the Intel Proseet Wireless Client and upon connection to my Linksys router a wizard comes up asking me to "enter the device password to my access point or external registrar". It displays an 8 digit number in the device password field. My only option at that point is to go "back", "next" or "cancel". If I click "next" it eventually fails to connect to my wireless router. I do not have an access point installed. Only the router and cable modem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Message Edited by dougieg on 11-06-2009 05:12 PMIf its asking you for the Access Point password when you are trying to connect to your Wireless Network, It means you need to input the Wireless Security Key which you have setup on your Router.
When you are trying to connect to your Wireless Network and it ask you for the 8 digit password, you need to Flip your router upside down and below you will find a 8 digit pin number (0000-0000) it will be in these format. Just input the 8digit pin without (-) and click on Next and it will connect you to your wireless network. Once successfully connected to your Network wirelessly you should be able to go online Wirelessly from your Computer.
