Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

We won't know until you try the procedure. The reset will not affect the content of the iPod.

My iPhone cannot connect to iTunes. It says I need to update to 11.0.5 to use iTunes with my iOS 7 iphone 5 but still won't work, any ideas?

I just downloaded and updated to the new iOS 7 software today for it's release. But when I plug my phone into my usb and then into my macbook, it won't work on iTunes. It says it's not compatible and I need to update to the latest iTunes which they say is 11.0.5. When I go online and download the iTunes installer and download the new update, it works out fine and I don't seem to have any trouble with it but as soon as it opens iTunes when the installer finishs, the mesage about compatibility comes up again even though I just updated to 11.0.5. If anyone has any idea, let me know! I'm hoping that maybe it's just a glitch with the new iTunes that needs to be fixed up?

Thank you for your question. iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1. First, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

I have an iPad mini that is exactly one year old. I plugged it in to charge it. The next morning it ws completely dead. I can't get it to come on no matter what I try. Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.

- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. Lightroom will attempt to fix the next time it launches. I have shut my system down and Lightroom still will not launch. Does anyone have any suggestions?

delete your preview cache (.lrdata folder).

See if your Mac will boot from the install DVD.
Then uninstall Internet Cleanup.

The result is that the project would not load in the edit Projects window. I can see the file in the finder window and it will launch iMovie but the file itself will not load in the projects window.
I have contacted apple support and they tried to do a few things... to no available.
With my limited knowledge of file structures I assume that the header file must be corrupt.
Is there a 3rd party utility that can decompile and fix the file structure so it will load properly. I've been working on this project since june and would hate to have to redo the whole thing again.
