HT201317 I only have one device that can run icloud. How can I bring my photos back to it?
I have one device that can run iCloud. It is my iPad. I backed up all my photos to the cloud, then deleted them off my ipad. I thought they would download
to my Mac and to my iTouch but then I discovered that those two devices are too old to run icloud. Now my photos are gone! Is there any way my ipad can access them again?
Thanks for any help. These photos were of our recent vacation in Ecuador. I hate to lose them forever.

Photos in photo stream...
You can log into your iCloud account on another computer or device and enable photo stream to see your photos. You should do this as soon as possible because photo stream in the cloud only keeps photos for 30 days and each day you delay, you will lose another days photos.
Photos in the camera roll...
If you kept a back up of your device you can use it to restore to a replacement device, this will restore all of the photos in your camera roll and isn't time limited.

Over the years we have owned many i-pods. Most of them ran out of juice or were just outdated some even stolen. As of right now I have one i-pod that should be authorized to download music from my library. I plan to get a new one. My question is how do you deactivate all the old i-pods so that i-tunes doesnt think I have all these pods downloading from my personal lbrary of music. I am trying to purchase an app and update my apps all are free but it won't accept my card, all it keeps saying is that my payment method has been declined, I only have one card so can't try another. Now I can't use some of my apps because they are waiting to be updated. Somebody please help!!

Lion uses Recovery to reinstall OS X. Press Command and R keys when your Mac starts, open Disk Utility, erase the drive and reinstall Lion. The other Mac has probably got its hard disk damaged, so take the Mac to an Apple Store -

If you deleted the photos from photo stream they are gone.
My Photo Stream has a 30 day 1000 photo limit on the server. If you just turned it off then turning Settings/Photos & Camera/My Photo Stream back on will reload the photos left on the server, the rest are gone. -
How to sync with Firefox sync after reinstalling Windows? I only have one device.

Maybe this is something that can be added to the roadmap for future improvements. I don't see a reason why you can't get your information back after a reset if you've only got one device. -
Apple hi my ipo was stolen today and I had it or 4 to 5 years I jut or new music on it and I didn't sync it to my conputer in a long time so I won't have slot of things please if you can lock it and tell them the their to cally number or activation location for my because I don't have a backup new device that can help me sorry if there are slot of mistakes back connection oh and if you could report in in for me a lock it or what not. Also if you can save my things then delete it from that device so they don't do anything that I can't take back thank you and please help me. Oh and the iPod is a 4th generation iPod if they are trying to sell it with a purple case it crashes alot and I have cloud on it. My personal info and pics are in it and they are probably gonna blakmail me eventhough I don't know them please report this in for me.
If you have a iCloud account set up you may be able to disable it, I'm not entirely sure about the earlier iPods. Even a poor thief will have already changed your settings. You can report it as stolen and change all passwords associated with this iPod to prevent a thief from accessing your accounts, computer, etc. As for the blackmail stuff, be careful what you have on your devices! Nothing is that secure. Good luck.

Icloud issues
Two iCloud accounts require two Apple IDs. So, if you want to set up a separate Apple ID for the other device, then you can set up a new iCloud account for that Apple ID. Everything associated with your current Apple ID will only remain with your current Apple ID with the possible exception of your Contacts, which you can keep on the device when you delete the iCloud account from it, and then you can merge them to the new iCloud ID when you sign it on.
All purchases made under the old ID will continue to be owned by the old ID.

How many different devices (DVD player, cable box, etc.) do you have besides the Apple TV to connect to your TV? If you aren't going to use any of these others, you won't need a switcher.
Also, depending on the device & what other kinds of inputs your TV might have, you may be able to hook them up to other inputs besides your only HDMI one. The quality might be lower for them, & you might have to use several cables for sound & video, but that might end up being acceptable if you use your ATV much more often than the others. -
Authorization will not work only have one computer.
I have 100 songs that no matter how many times I try to authorize, my itunes will not play the song even though after I put my password in it comes back machine authorization was succesful. Then nothing happens. Also only have one computer that I have always had with itunes. Need Help.

I keep getting a message that says my computer is associated with an APPLE ID?? That I can download previous purchases again in 82 days with a different ID? I don't understand why it wont allow me to download previous purchases?? I never had this problem before the 10.5 update. I have emailed their help panel numerious times and they never do anything that remedies the problem?? I only have one computer and one ID I just dont understand what the problem is. I use a 3G connection to download music and sometimes the songs are not completely downloaded too and when I cant redownload them its like a waste of money.. I am so discouraged!!! I have a couple of articles that should be able to help you troubleshoot this issue a little further. You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes first. This has to be done in a specific manner, and this article can help you do that:

when my hard drive died I lost my itunes library and now I'm being told that I can't synch my ipod with new songs unless I delete all existing because I can only have one library at a time
Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

I had to reset my phone and I only have one of my ringtones I had 4.. Why'd it delete 3 and not the last one and now I can't get em back without paying for them again!!! What the **** is up with that??
Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.
