So last night my boyfriend upgraded his old Samsung galaxy to the Samsung Galaxy s4. He was able to receive a few of my text messages, but then they randomly started saying "not delivered." I turned on and turned off my phone, and tried the turning off and on imessage and facetime but nothing has worked and I still can't text him. I am receiving his messages just fine, I just can't send any to him. I tried to update my phone last night. When I woke up, it said it needed to be connected to iTunes. I restored my phone and now it won't turn on and keeps saying it needs to be connected to iTunes.

I upgraded my iCloud plan from $20 to $40 a year. However, I am still being charged for both plans. How do I get a refund and or remove the original $20 a year plan?
I have the exact same situation as you mattiger18. I cannot install Lion or I will disrupt programs that I run on Snow Leopard that are critical for my work. Apple is not providing a solution for us. Last time they migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud they lost months of emails and had emails bouncing to my accounts. They destroyed 8 weeks of my business. They have done it again. They have already lost several months of my emails and they are bouncing my business email. It's outrageous!
I spent thousands of $ on my software and I have no intention of installing Lion or other OS iterations. It is bad enough that Apple's service patches are crippling some of my applications. My biggest regret was not altogether getting off of iCloud and setting up all my business email on other email servers like gmail, etc. It is so outrageous what Apple is doing it is beyond words. They are supremely greedy and totally uncaring for their customers. -
I upgraded my iPhone last night. At the end of the upgrade iTunes synched the Contacts, but all my iPhone contacts have been deleted and replaced by the Windows contacts on my computer. Can the iPhone contacts be restored? The latest backup shows the time to be after the sync so we tried to restore the iPhone but only the Windows contact list is there. Can you access any previous backup files anywhere?
Hello ymprice91277, let's solve this mystery! To unlink the Facebook contacts go to Settings, Facebook, turn off contacts.

I downloaded a movie last night from iTunes and it downloaded to my laptop and my phone but for some reason it now won't play on my laptop. The album artwork on my laptop has gone and it exists perfectly on my phone. What do I do?
I paid for it so I'd really like to avoid paying again just to see this movie. Is it because it's on my iPhone? Whenever I try to click on the movie to make it play it just does nothing like it's not there. The file for the movie exists within my iTunes library files but I can't seem to click and drag it into iTunes or open it with iTunes. Just upgraded to Lion last night and it works very smooth and fine. The only problem was the WarCraft3 Frozen Throne. I was able to run the game but the home menu until the game starts, it becomes black instead of blue. Before, it works very fine on Snow Leopard.
Have you contacted the vendor? Have you perused the game's online forums?

Why can't I find the book which i purchased on I tunes last night? Even my computer savvy son couldn't find it or my grandkids. I am on a trip and would really like to listen to the book. Thanks for helping! Granny
When you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app - is it in there ?
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library. -
I was upgrading my iOS last night but when I checked to see the progress ,the home page refused to show. After d apple icon comes on the screen immediately changes to show the iTunes icon with a charging port cable. What should I do?

I was using my wifi last night when I got an error message stating my ip address had been taken over. Then safari stopped working and i can no longer access the internet. I looked at my ip address and it states 000.000.000....can someone please help?
Sounds like a bogus pop up. In any case power down your Mac, your modem, your router. Then power back up in 1 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.

Updated iPad 2 last night. All movies (9) on my iPad can no longer be viewed. The movie plays but the photos and scene selection are blank. How do I fix this
Quit the app and restart the iPad.
In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Try the videos app again. -

Ah, the dangers of trying to save a few bucks. Warranty is only good in the USA for phones purchased in the USA.
Three options.
1. Fly to the US, go to an Apple store, and have the phone swapped.
2. Send the phone to a friend in the US and have them go to the Apple store and have the phone replaced.
3. Buy a new phone in your home country where the warranty is valid. -
