Several of my apps are failing to initiate, I have tried restarting, resetting and they still do not open, any hints?
Try downloading another app - any free app is fine. See if that resets the other apps and lets them open.

I am unable to update an app, Chirps! USA. I have tried both wireless and when connected to the computer. I contacted the company and they said it was an iTunes problem. ANy suggestions?
Hi..
Delete the app then reinstall.
Hold the app icon down until all the apps jiggle then tap the x then tap Delete. Press the Home button once or twice to stop the jiggling.
Then go to the iTunes store and re download the app.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That should download the most recent version including whatever update was available.
You won't be charged again. -
hi everyone for about 2 weeks now i cant seem to get any search results with the mobile myspace app on ipod touch 4g i have tried clearing cookies and cache ,resetting ipod uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work any ideas?
- Have you tried going to the developer's support website/contacting the developer?

My ipod touch 'blacks out ' when loading apps and then goes straight back out to the screen. I have tried resetting it and also re-downloading the apps but with no success. All software is up to date.

I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

i have a question about the update server!! apples server is a specific sours right!? form where you download the updates if there are any. and all apples when check for updates are using the server as a sours to download those updates. lets pretend its a road splited into 2 ways, the left sight gose to apples ubdate server, the right sight gose to sowehere else i dont know where, so is it somehow possible that in network settings the server option changed to another location,meaning when i'm checking for update or want to download, the internet is not connecting the apples server like changed its way to onother sours which is not providing apples support, and now i can't connect to the apple update server. i know sounds rediculuse but any way as i'm not good in those things so asking to those who might know.

Try resseting the network settings in settings>general then go to reset a the bottom.
Then reset NETWORK settings. -
I can't open apps on my iPhone. The touch screen doesn't work. I have restored it already but it still won't work. What can I do.
If the touch screen is not having any response then you probably have a hardware failure. Take your phone to an Apple Store or authorised service provider to have it checked.

Did you reboot?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

It really sounds like the account on your iPhone is different than the one on your computer but based upon your posts, that's probably not it. I have 2 apps that have been waiting to update for a week. I don't really care about the update, I would just like to use them, but the are stuck waiting. I have tried powering down, syncing with my computer...all fails. Any ideas?
At this point you have no choice but to update the or delete them and reinstall them since you wont be able to use them until they update - or come out of the "waiting" loop.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -
