If the videos are .wmv files, VLC from VideoLAN will play them and pretty much any other media format.
BTW, we are not Apple; we're just users like yourself. -
I just upgrade to lion on my iMac and also did the switch to iCloud and Paralle destop doest not what to open anymore .It says reactivate your mac and try again.

EricThere's no need to go to the store if you don't want to. You can purchase and download the new version from the Parallels web site. In fact if you want to try it out, I believe you can do the download and get a two week trial version. Later you can purchase the serial number to make it official.
I cannot be certain about your data, but I did not lose anything when I updated to Lion and faced a similar situation.

If you haven't deliberately tried to downgrade iTunes then it is possible the library is corrupt. This approach should work.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I do not know if this has anything to do with my problem or not. I just recalibrated my battery and now cannot remove anything from the dock. Lithium batteries have essentially a 0-‘memory’, and all such calibration involve the estimations fed to the system controller on the SOC (state of charge) of the battery over long periods of time as the battery degrades. The software based battery controller knows the battery's characteristics, or SOC and adjusts itself. This is why there is both no need and purpose to periodically deeply drain your macbook battery, since it doesn’t affect the characteristics of the battery, and further still deep discharges are something you should not do on purpose to any lithium battery. -

I have a Asus Gtx560 Ti. and I'm thinking of upgrading to GTX680 or HD7970 the problem is i don't know witch one is more suitable to me..
I'm Professional video editor. I work on premiere, AE, 3ds max. Since Nvidia has it's CUDA feature; its obviously clear that i should get Gtx680 BUT..
What really got me scratching my head and thinking is that Nvidia has took the chunk of its compute power away..
Would the Gtx680 be the best choice for me.
Please help guys I'm dizzy now and i can't think clearly.

For Premiere, the Quadro 4000 is actually significantly slower than the GTX 680. In fact, it is slower than even your current GTX 560 Ti - that is, the Quadro 4000 performs more like a cheapo GeForce GTX 460 SE in Premiere. But for 3D design programs such as 3Ds Max, the Quadro generally performs better than any GeForce due in large part to the less-than-robust OpenGL support in the GeForce drivers. -
My iphone 5 froze on my contacts , like a double screen then turned off. It turned back on when I plugged it in , but then froize on the apple screen. My siri is responding but that is all, I have tried using i-tunes , but I have too allow I-tunes through my phone unlock! PLEASE HELP!

Apple cannot help you locate the original owner. If you have no way to contact him/her, and you purchased directly from the seller rather than through a site that offers buyer protection, then the iPad is useless to you and you have wasted your money. The iPad is quite probably stolen and you should turn it in to the police.
This is why it's very risky and usually unwise to purchase out of a car boot from someone you don't know.

You can find a local shop and pay to get it fixed or you will need to send the phone to someone you know in Canada and have them take the phone into Apple for service. Then they will need to ship the phone back to you. The warranty is based in the original country of purchase.
