    I am trying to link my Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) account with my iTunes account following the instructions on the DMA website.  I am redirected to Apple's website to download iTunes.  I already have iTunes on my computer.  I followed the Apple prompts and iTunes was uninstalled and reinstalled and I still cannot link the two accounts.

    This is what someone else suggested on one of these threads. I was having the exact same problem, but this worked out for me! I hope it works out for you too.

    I bought the Disney Movie Robin Hood the other day. My husband loves it and it had digital copy so I figured this would be great. I redeemed the digital copy code and had to choose to download the movie to "Disney Movies Anywhere + iTunes" because that was the only option I could see to get it onto my iTunes account. So far it hasn't shown up on my iTunes account but it does for the Disney Movies Anywhere. It says I just need to connect my Disney Movies Anywhere to my iTunes account and the movie will show up on iTunes. Does anyone know how to connect them? I would greatly appreciate the help!

  • Two Marvel (Disney) movies removed from iTunes library

    I have had two movies (Thor and Captain America:The First Avenger) , removed from my iTunes library.
    I have chatted with support and they say the content provider has removed the content, thus my purchases are no longer available.  However, if I search iTunes, the movies are available for purchase.  I discovered the Disney Movies Anywhere app and was able to view the movies there, but that still doesn't put the movies back in my iTunes library and thus I cannot watch them on my apple tv.
    I asked for a credit to repurchase the movies, but Apple refused.
    Anyone have this same issue and tips for remedying the situation?

    Hmm, it is only very recently (about 6 months ago I think) that the policy on Music changed. Prior to that you would be routinely reminded to back up all purchases (immediately after the successfully completed download), unless of course you ticked an option not to be reminded again. The change in policy (in our favour) would have been noted in the small print that neither you or I read when upgrading iTunes, though we say that we have.
    Again I'm still not certain if audiobooks are excluded from both "Music" and "Books". One would hope that they belonged to one category or the other in respect of redownloading. In the past, in the event of an absolute disaster, fatal hard-drive crash, fire etc. some users have been able to prevail upon the charity of the iTunes store staff who would occasionaly grant a second, but never a third, download of past purchases.
    The restictions on different types of media are ultimately imposed by the rights holders, not Apple. It is in Apple's interests to offer the same terms as their competitors, so my guess is that nobody currently offers unlimited repeat downloads of movies. Certainly the unique codes you get on some DVDs/Blu-Rays are one-time only.
    Backup all (or at least the non-replaceable parts) of your library with this User Tip.

  • Syncing Disney movies

    I bought Frozen and accessed the digital copy via digitalcopyplus.com/frozen the Disney movies in my Disneymoviesanywhere.com account should be availble through iTunes with my Apple ID but not all of my movies are avaolable on my computer yet most of my movies are available using Apple TV. I can download the movie to my iPhone but not my iPad. Any suggestions?

    I just bought the Frozen Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD Copy.
    Instead of simply selecting iTunes for my digital copy, I signed up for Disney Movies Anywhere (since it implied I would *also* get an iTunes copy). The process has a few glitches, but eventually I was able to create a Disney account and then link iTunes to that account.
    But I didn't see Frozen (nor the free bonus movie The Incredibles) under STORE/Purchased in my iTunes sidebar on my desktop. That's where I thought they would show up. But instead the two movies appeared in the LIBRARY/Movies sidebar. The two movies had little cloud symbols with down arrows in them. When I clicked that symbol, the movie started downloading.
    I hope this helps anyone who was as confused as I was. It makes sense that the movies weren't under "Purchased", since I didn't buy them via iTunes.
    EDIT: one other thing I forgot to mention. In iTunes/Preferences/Store you must check the box that says "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" or your movies won't be visible.

  • Disney movie won't play on Apple TV through airplay from Iphone 4.  Any thoughts?

    It was working before, but now an error pops up saying something to the effec of "the Apple TV isn't authorized to play this content."  It was working before, but has since stopped.  Both the iPhone and Apple TV are up-to-date.  Strange thing is it plays them if I stream from iTunes.  I know that's probably the best way to do it, but we don't always have our laptop on.  Also, this was happening for the two Disney movies we have (and only 2 movies we have, period) - Beauty and the Beast and Tangled.

    Skills in technology doesn't make someone a skilled filmmaker. At least you are getting SOME training with the film/video professor there. But what puzzles me is you getting hired to do VIDEO work when you only have an AUDIO background.
    Let me put it in this light...I know video editing and shooting. I can use an Avid and Final Cut Pro, and I was a professional videographer for 2 years when I got out of college. A school just hired me to teach audio editing and to make hundreds of radio spots using ProTools.
    See what's wrong there?
    If you were starting out in a lower level position, I'd understand this. But to be teaching something you don't know about, and working professionally in a field you are not skilled in, makes no sense to me. Ahhh, academia.

    Well, when I entered the job market everyone asked me for my demo reel. The college didn't mention anything about this...so I didn't have one, and didn't have access to tools to MAKE one. SO I had to shell out money to rent an Avid for a couple days to make one.
    2. What's the most valuable thing YOU would like to impart to a beginner?
    Don't be afraid to work for free. This is how you get experience and a reel...and known.
    3. What's one piece of equipment I haven't listed that you would like to recommend or what's one piece of equipment I have listed that you think I should reconsider?
    LTO tape drive for archiving all that P2 footage.

  • Digital Disney movies will not play in iTunes 12.1.1

    Digital Disney movies will not play when selecting play. I've used space bar, left and right laptop mouse button and enter. The other menu options have no issues. It's got to be only with the iTune extra when redeeming from Disney Blu-ray.

    Well, I uninstalled the iTunes software and reinstalled the software. The songs in question are still not recognized. When I had unstalled the iTunes software, I went into "Program Files" and to the "iTunes" folder. Nothing was in the folder except a plugin for Last.fm. I had not removed that. Upon reinstallation, I tried to play the songs again in iTunes and they still to not play (nor do they even load). Any idea as to what this may be?

    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time and make sure it is correct, including time zone.
    Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"?

    I have at least two movies that I can't seem to bring up on my account. I have the receipts for both still but unfortunately I think the migration from MobileMe to iCloud killed some things. Is there any way for me to bring over that content? I mean I just recently was notified that a movie I bought a long time ago "contained the wrong video content" and was available for download except it doesn't appear on my account.
