HT204406 my itunes match has frozen 2 songs from the end of matching my music. what do i do to fix this?
I have subscribed to itunes match and it checked all of my songs but has frozed 2 somge from the end of step 2 and won't move on to the next step. I don't know how to resolve this as I have tried stopping and starting it but it seems to freeze in the same place every time.
*When I try to drag over the music, it won't let me. That's what I meant to say.

Apple have designed the iPod deliberately so that the transfer of music is by default one way from iTunes to iPod. The most likely reason is to discourage the use of the iPod for widespread music file sharing. This is a logical step for such a high profile company to take in the current environment. It's especially relevant considering that Apple has to work closely with the music companies to maintain the iTunes Music Store. -
All my music in my itunes library has vanished apart from the purchased items! It is not in the music > itunes > itunes media folder, I've searched the entire system for mp3 and nothing. Why has this happened and where has it all gone?

My Itunes library has 700 songs. The Ipod Shuffle is 2 GB. How many songs can I get on the Shuffle...aproximately?
To see the exact size of your library, simply look at the status bar at the bottom. If you don't have a status bar, enable by going to View > Show Status Bar.
If you want to fit more on the iPod, use the capability to "Convert higher bit rate songs..." as shown below. If you set this to 128, you can fit around 500 4-minute songs in 2GB. -
I have a few iPods (all nanos) that cut off the ends of quite a few songs. When I play the same songs on iTunes, they play through. It's only the iPods that cut off. What can I do to fix this?

can't seem to sync my iphone 4 running ios 7 with itunes 10.6 running on a mac running osx 10.5.8 What can I do to fix this? Is there an itunes update? or How can I return to the previous ios?
To sync an iOS 7 device you need to be running iTunes 11.1.1; iTunes 10.6 is way too old and won't work. You need to install iTunes 11.1.1, but to do that you need to be running at least Mac OS X 10.6.8.
So you need to do the following:
1. Upgrade your Mac to at least OS X 10.6.8 (later preferably, but 10.6.8 at the miniumum).
a. Check first to see if your model Mac can be upgraded, check that it has enough RAM and so forth (2GB at the least, more if possible).
b. If you can't upgrade your Mac, or don't want to, then you will have to buy a new Mac with the latest version of OS X (currently 10.8.5, soon to become 10.9) and iTunes 11.1.1
2. Install iTunes 11.1.1 on your newly upgraded Mac.
3. Sync your iOS 7 iPhone with iTunes. -
When I go to iTunes and then check for updates. I can not do this action due to the fact iTunes will not connect to the internet although the internet is working just fine, what do I do to fix this issue? Apparently I am currently using iTunes 7.0.
If you're really using iTunes 7.0 you are very far behind the current version - maybe it is trying to connect to a decomissioned server. In fact I am kind of surprised it will run on a Macbook Air. Are you sure you are running iTunes 7?

Are you using any 3rd party applications to name or organize files in your iTunes library?
Try re-creating your iTunes Library, then sync the iPod again.

Hi, I am using a MacBook Pro, and downloaded the new iTunes update. I have OS X Lion 10.7.4. It all of sudden is randomly cutting off some songs before the very end of the song. I've tried to read past posts and create new libraries and re-import the old one, but it doesn't seem to help. It is not all of my purchased songs, nor is it all of my downloaded from CD songs, it's just a particularly random set of songs (I haven't checked them all, but it happens every 5 songs or so when I play the whole library on shuffle). This never happened to me before with other versions of iTunes, and when I called the support line the guy says he has never heard of this problem before... !
I have 3000 songs, so I don't want to manually bring each one in again. I am also not super technologically brilliant, so if you have had this problem too and have a simple answer, please help !!!I have a similar problem with Itunes - the funny thing is it only does it on my Mac and not my PC running Windows 7 - seems strange the Apple software runs better on a Windows computer. There are other posts about this here on the forums that have been running for two years with no solution - and I was just about to buy a new Ipod - oh well.

My iPod won't copy a song because it says the file can not be converted. what do I do to fix this?
I just bought a new song on iTunes, and when I go to sync my iPod, it says it's copying the song, and then a box pops up that says
' iTunes could not copy "Song name" because the file could not be converted.'
What do I do to fix it? Help!Have the same problem since the last 2 updates of Itunes.
I think it doesn't have anything to do with the Ipod, because Itunes can't "Convert" or "Create ALAC" from the files that are creating the problem.
Also, when you delete every library files and re-import your .ALAC, it's not always the same files that are generating this problem.
Starting to feel like stupid to have re-imported almost all my CDs into .ALAC (a proprietary file type depending on Itunes) instead of importing them to open source FLAC ....
The idea was that Ipod convert anything to 256kbps seemed like a good idea ... -
When I merge one project with another, Aperture 3 randomly scrambles the photos of the project being merged, instead of keeping them in the chronological order that I shot them in. What can I do to correct this?
The photos have just been dumped into a new home and need to be told how to be arranged. Go to the top left of the browser view for the merged project and select the desired sort order from the drop-down and they'll all sort according to that setting.

ITunes will not load songs from CDs in order especially like Broadway musicals. How do I fix?
I have tried to load music from several of my CD and the songs are not in the same order in ITunes as on the CD. This occurs when there are different artists on the CD such as Reba Duets and
Broadway musicals. Broadway musicals are especially important since the music tells a story. How can I load a CD into ITunes and keep the order of songs the same as the CD? Thank you.Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.

My imessage has not been working. the internet and imessage only work on wifi. how do i fix this
MY IMESSAGE HAS NOT BEEN WORKING. IT ONLY WORKS WHEN I AM CONNECTED TO WIFI. THE INTERNET DOESNT WORK EITHER. I TRIED EVERYTHING AND NO ONE ON THE VERIZON PHONE NUMBER WILL ANSWER.
First make sure cellular data is toggled on.
Secondly make sure airplane mode is set to off.
Thirdly, make sure to toggle to "on" the send text/SMS/MMS if you cannot use imessage.
I don't know what model iPhone you have, if a 5,5c, or 5s make sure the Sim card is functioning properly. (Remove with device turned off, the carefully place back in device) then turn on the iPhone.
Hopefully problem solved.
