There is a problem with the activation process between your machine and Apple to verify your machine is allowed to reinstall OS X.
You will have to call AppleCare to resolve this issue. (even if you did't purchase AppleCare you still call their number)

I never had issues with the calendar on my crappy Blackberry Storm. What the crap, Apple?!?!Have you fixed this problem yet? At the risk of being harshly snapped at like poor ED3K, I will let you know a recent experience of mine. I consider myself fairly tech saavy and I have had experience with iPhones since the original. I too recently noticed that all my calendar data was recently "erased." I had a hard time figuring out what happened...until my wife, who is NOT tech saavy told me about the Settings in iPhone with iCloud. First check your iCloud account (icloud.com/calendar) and make sure that your calendar data is all there. If so, continue with next step. Make sure that on your iPhone 4s in Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Calendars, the Sync is set to All Events or however time you would like synced to your iPhone from your iCloud account. This should restore your calendar events. I hope this helps. Remember, sometimes help comes from the most unexpected places. And if this doesnt help you, at least be gracious. I looked in console and its saying that it may be because of Sophos Anti-Virus, i deleted and uninstalled all traces of Sophos but looked in console and this is some of the lines coming up:

First, remove Comodo. You don't need it, and it sounds like it is causing a problem.
The other symptoms sound like you have adware installed. Comodo might have detected some components of that adware, or it might not have, but whatever the case, you should NEVER allow any anti-virus software to quarantine or delete files from your computer. See: How to remove infected files.

I recently purchased a power mac g5
Specs;
G5 power mac dual core (2.0)
Power pc 970 mp
Late 2005
I don't have an apple mouse/keyboard
I just use $40 wireless mouse keyboard.
Upon purchase everything seemed to work as it should....booted up, open and closing apps without freezing.
However I never had it connected to the Internet when I navigated through system.
I got it home and installed a 1 tb harddrive (WD mainstream desktop) from future shop. When I installed it in tower I had to buy a sata 2.0 cable as there was not one available for use. Booted up fine and installation went as my research said it should. Turned it on next day....
Tried to update iTunes and this is where it started actin up. First just froze had to turn off, second time wouldn't even boot up plus fans went into overdrive. Third forth fifth sixth boots fans sometimes kick in, now whenever I try to do any kind of action it freezes. (Only when I click something)
I read about possible power suppy issue, so I plugged tower and monitor into seperAte plugs,
They may however be in same circuit because they at in the same wall...would a power conditioner fix this?
Anyway still froze on any action tried...just opened disk drive...opened then frooze...?
Anybody have any ideas??

I ended up taking it in to geeksquad at best buy, they had it for 3 days and also told me after the fact that neither of the techs working on it knew much about macs :-( needless to say I requested my
Money back due to the fact that the service I paid for could not be completed and literally couldn't tell me anything more than what's below.
They told me that they could not dock it with thier diagnostic machine, kept restarting on them and the one fella said it was overheating but had no idea why. When I brought it home again I tried it once more computer boots up to desktop as usual, this time had a asterisk window saying " the computer was restarted after mac OSX quit unexpectedly" however my cursor was again locked in the top left of the screen. Would not move, so I could not view the report, shortly after fans kicked into overdrive. I'm losing hope for this machine rapidly. I'm all ears when it comes to anything I may be able to do.
Should I try an actual apple keyboard/mouse just to eliminate that possible?
If you have ideas AWSOME, If not, no worries, ill take it into the mac store and see what they say
P.s the machine is clean inside little to no dust and the tech said he was going to clean it out, hard to tell if he did because it was clean clean before I brought it to him.

You are not required to transfer the AppleCare plan to the new owner. If you wish you may cancel the plan and receive a pro-rated refund. See the Terms and Conditions of AppleCare document on Apple's web site.

Mac Mini + Hp3051A = won't print; uninstalled, now can't reinstall
Newer MacMini all updated. Runs Mavericks (ok, that's an oxymoron! Mavericks is full of glitches).
HP3051A J611 via wireless HAD worked, prior to upgrade to Mavericks.
Mini can see printer, but says it can't print - other messages (can't remember).
Tried shutting off Mini, tried downloading drivers again--doesn't work.
I Uninstalled HP entirely, then tried to follow HP directions to reinstall- BLOCKED.
At the window to add printer, clicked +, got window to enter name of printer.
Under "default printer" tab, CAN'T.
Window not letting data be entered, except in the search box - that won't search anything when clicked, and does not put the name of the printer into the box below.
I can click on "name" or "kind" tabs on the highlighted block, but that's all.
Below that is "name", "Location" and Use"--all of which are greyed out--can't do anything there.
There's NO "search nearby printers" option as described in HP's directions.
Typing "search nearby printers" into the search box fails, too.
Clicked the IP tab, and get boxes to fill in address, Protocol and Queue; below that is Name, Location and Use.
I tried entering the IP address, buit it turned into Printer name, went nowhere.
"Protocol" comes up "Line Printer Daemon - LPD"; other choices are: Internet Printing Protocol or HP JetDirect - Socket. Tried clicking each of those on different tries, but get nothing [I don't know what those mean]
No data can be typed into the lower 3 boxes [name, location, use].
The last tab in this window is "Windows"; it's entirely gray [can't do anything there]; this is a Mac anyway.
What to do?
I think this is a Mac-Glitch to do with Mavericks; will go there, too, to see if anyone can figure this out.

HOW's that?Greetings Richard, I ran into a similar situation recently with my mini server. although I believe it to be a problem of my DNS settings getting hosed. I couldn’t log in no matter what log I used-even as the root user.
I had a back up on the second drive of the mini. I did buy the USB drive when I bought the mini, so I was able to boot off the install disc. Then from the menu I choose the back up partion as the start up drive. After restarting, I was at least able to recover and copy my important files to the back up partition. I have not been able to work out the login issue yet. I’ll probably just do a reinstall on the corrupted drive.
In any event, it maybe worth it for you to buy the USB drive and boot off of it.
The verbose mode is for you to be able to login through the command line and trouble shoot from there.
Also, in safe mode, any files that you may want to change permissions, you may need to change the owner and then change the permissions. This is done with the chown command and then chmod command. You’ll need to use the sudo command so you can become the root user to use the commands and make any changes.
Hope this will at least help you get further in troubleshooting this issue.
