the iPad is totally new to me. I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID. As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error. It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. Cancel or Retry. I'm trying to help a friend who has a PC. She bought some songs, put them in her library and then tried to drag them to her iPod, but she keeps getting the red "NO' circle. Why is this happening? I thought all she had to do was drag the song to her iPod?

It sound like she may have automatic syncing enabled. I would recommend reviewing the process for syncing media with iTunes.

I recently purchased an ebook, downloaded all the correct software and when I go to put it into my library i get an error saying "connection error" cannot connect to activation server. HELP!
I have this same problem in October of 2013. I am unable to import .ics files into Lion that I exported from my Snow Leopard MacBookPro without losing all of my future events (which all have alerts attached). All of the events from BEFORE today's date are successfully importing, presumably because they are no longer expected to trigger alerts via Apple Mail. After my first unsuccessful attempt, I learned that iCal was communicating with iCloud by default. I have since turned off iCloud, but I have not found a solution to the problem. Harvey

If the backup you're trying to restore from is encrypted, you will not be able to use that backup if you can't remember the encrypted backup passcode.
If on a Mac, & you elected to save the passcode to your Keychain, you can recover the passcode from your Keychain. Otherwise, your data is unrecoverable.
While you can continue to sync/backup, if you can't remember it & want to remove it, you'll have to delete your existing backups & restore the phone as a new device. Your data will be unrecoverable.
You delete your existing backups here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices. -
Purchases of TV show episodes on Apple TV and iTunes on my computer
I purchased some episodes of Dexter on my Apple TV, but they don't show up on my computer in iTunes. Should they? I thought that purchases from Apple TV would appear on my iTunes, so that I can share to my ipods. Am I confused? Should I not purchase from my Apple TV? How can I transfer them to my computer if I can?
I'm new to Apple TV so I wont be able to give you the most technical answer but I hope that this helps. Programing purchased on your Apple TV will automatically appear on your computer only if you have selected the auto sync option in iTunes on your linked computer. ATV content can also be synced in manual mode by selecting what programs are to sync. I had an old PC that was only being used as an iTune music server so it made since to have it be my default ATV server as well. It is wired into my Time capsule and all my ATV shows download to that computer and then served from there. I'm sure there will be other better answers than this but hope this helps you get started in right direction.

If you didn't setp your iTunes account, from the beginning, without a credit card, you'll have to either add a credit card to your account or redeem an iTunes gift card, regardless of whether the app is free or not.

hi, for the last 3 hours i ve been trying to install and update itunes to the lates update....before my itunes would open just like i want it to and ever since i tried updateing to the new software my itunes wont open i get a code 2324....i realy dont want to have to put itunes on a diferent computer....please help on what to do to fix this and get my library back cause it wont open....please desperately need help
