HT4864 After my iCloud was down all day, now it seems to be back on but I have no new emails??!! That's impossible just based on the ads etc I get a day. I'm annoyed enough that the system was down for me for over 12 hours, but lost emails??!!
Longest iCloud has ever been down, and I'm irritated enough it's not the first time...
In previous times, iCloud eventually restored and I got all emails sent to me during time down.
Today, after 12+ hours down, seemingly working but no new emails? That's impossible...
Where are they? Lost in cyberspace forever?
This is NOT OK!
Makes me want to switch my primary email away from iCloud.
It is highly inconvenient for me to be shut out of my emails all day.
Now you know how Blackberry owners felt after their multi day no-email problem last your.

I'm a Apple user for over 20 years now and through the years I forgave Apple the (small) mistakes they have made through the years, but this is completely unacceptable. I've read that Apple is hiding behind the terms of use which is crazy. We users expect a certain level of quality and stability, apart from any terms of use (or is this a typical European thing??). Apparently they don't care, they take all the time to fix this problem (over 36 hours??, I feel like not being taken seriously).

System Down For Over 40 Hours !
My system went down some time after 11:25am on Saturday, July 12th and did not start working again until some time around 3:30am on Monday, July 14th. When I say it went down, I mean nothing worked. Timed events did not happen (I.E. lights going on after dusk), and triggered events not occurring (I.E. lights and cameras not activating when doors sensors are openned). I tried rebooting the gateway several times but the problem would not clear and I could not access my system from either a PC or smartphone. When I called Verizon HM&C support, they were closed for the weekend (funny they use to have limited hours on Saturdays but no more).
Monday morning I awoke to find that everything was working again but I could not access the system on my smartphone.
When I called Verizon HM&C support I was told that there was a problem with smartphone access and that it was being worked but they had no idea when it would be fixed. They were unaware of any other issues and were surprised to here of the outage over the weekend.
Hopefully they will fix this issue faster then the Java Script problem which prevents PC from streaming live camera feeds.They did get most of the functions on the smartphone app working again by Monday afternoon with the exception of running any modes. As of this time that is still not working on a smartphone or PC. And by that I mean that if you click "Run" next to a mode, it does nothing. But, the modes still work as triggers and timed events.

RogerIt depends upon the version of Firefox you had on Windows 98.The last version that officially ran on Windows 98 was Firefox 2. In Firefox 2 bookmarks are stored in a file called bookmarks.html inside the profile folder. The normal location to find the profile folder in Windows 98 is inside this folder - C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
The name of the profile folder is normally a string of random characters followed by .default, if you open that folder you should find the bookmarks.html file. You can import that file into your current computer by following the procedure in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Importing+Bookmarks+from+an+HTML+File
If you had Firefox 3 on Windows 98, bookmarks are stored in a file called places.sqlite. If you have that file, you can copy it from your old profile folder and place it in your profile folder on the Windows XP computer, replacing the one that is already there. Hi...I have this problem, everytime I want to print something out the mac asks me for the computer password...that is really becoming annoying after. That happened since I upgraded to mountain lion. How can I stop the computer from asking me that?
If you are printing via a Windows shared printer and it is the Windows user account that you are being prompted for then you can save this in the Keychain, as shown below.

After upgrading to Lion, I went to open Mail and received the message that it needed to upgrade my Mail database - this may take a few minutes. The bar shows it is about 1/5 along and has been there for over 10 hours.
I tried quitting and starting again but it just jumps back to the same spot.It is quite large, but I have tried two of the fixes suggested and things now seem to be moving along.

I have a new email address and was successful in changing the information online but cannot change it on my iPhone 4S or iPad. When I try to fix the problem it requires me to create a new password and now I can't remember that either.
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I have a Macbook 2.1 that runs 10.5.8. I cannot get it to start on battery power. It will run for over an hour on the battery, if you start it with the charger, but even then it shows a 0% charge! I've tried pulling the battery out while it's booted, pulling battery out and discharging the system by holding the power switch, nothing seems to make it work. any ideas? It has all the updates Apple offers, too.
Try resetting the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer. -

You cannot reactivate the device without knowing the previous owner's information. This is the new antitheft measure built into the iPhone.
There's nothing you can do. You'll need to purchase a new phone.
