Merge replication is not happening in one way
Hi ALl,
We have merge replications setup. it is not working in one direction. I enabled the logging to output fine but no use i could not find anything. The pings are fine no drops. Telnet is working. no load on server. i contacted network teams there is no issues.
What could be the issue?
The merge process could not retrieve column information for table 'dbo.MAINT'. Verify that you have sufficient privileges on the database and retry the operation.The merge process could not enumerate changes at the 'Subscriber'. When troubleshooting, restart
the synchronization with verbose history logging and specify an output file to which to write.
But the agent subsystem account and replication has sysadmin permission no possibility of password issue.
Snapshot folder and file not be used here.

Spa2102 only one way conversation
Hi hope some one can point me in the right direction.
I have unlocked a spa2102 originally from sunrocket and set it up to use varphonex.
I have followed the guides from varphonex to set up the device.
I have a static internet address of 67.63.***.***
and run dhcp on internal of 192.168.0.2 etc
the adapter conects to varphonex and is registered have 3 lights on on / internet and phone 1 (phone 2 switched off) turn phone on and receive a dial tone, say ring a 2nd phone (mobile) the mobile will ring but the voip phone is quiet. when the 2nd phone (mobile) is answered that phone can hear the voip phone but I can not hear the person from the mobile. also the mobile you can hear yourself as a echo if that helps anyone.
The adaptor is connected directly to the internet, and 5 port hub, dect 6 phone in spa2102 and laptop plugged into 5 port hub
I can surf the internet through the adaptor using the laptop.
also if any one could give me any of the default settings of the spa2102 may help.

BritAre you using a router in front of the SPA2102 or it is just the SPA2102 connected to the modem.
With the device you can also set a stun server which is a work around for one way audio problems as well. you can try stun.voipuser.org or any other stun server online. -
One-way soap call do not throw exception

I prepared a client for web service with JWSDP-2.0. wscompile generated proxy classes. The web service uses "basic authentication". Now comes my problem. wscompile generated stub which calls
_sendOneWay((java.lang.String) _getProperty(ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY), _state);Because the web service is defined as: void ENCRYPTED_MESSAGE(SOAPElement)
When basic authentication fails (I get HTTP 401 code - which I can see in debug created by JVM parameter -Djavax.net.debug=all ) then NO EXCEPTION is fired!!!
When I change the wsdl and add dummy output parameter, then send((java.lang.String) getProperty(EN... is generated and authentication fires exception. But this is not the right way to do it.
My question is - can I make wscompile to generate Stub without _sendOneWay?

Serialization not working in one way

A button can be associated with an Action Listener. Now, you can serialize a button; however you can't serialize an action listener - for what should be to you obvious reasons. This is NOT an error and so there is no need to throw an exception when serializing the button.

Have been running Firefox without problem in both my own and my child's account on my laptop. Today, although Firefox still works normally in my own account, it does not launch at all in my child's account. Clicking on either the short cut or via AllPrograms results in the timer starting briefly and then disappearing and nothing happening. I have checked Task Manager and Firefox is not showing as running in the Processes tab. I have tried to set up a new profile in that account to no effect.
I am having exactly the same problem. This worked on all versions of Firefox up until mid last week. It started failing on Wednesday, coincident with the installation of Firefox 8.0 (see attached gif showing the automatic update on that date).
To fix the problem, you have to shut down Firefox 8.0 on one account, switch to the other account and then you can run it there.
If Firefox 8.0 is running on on account, the other account will run Firefox, but when you enter an URL it waits for quite a while then reports "The connection was reset. The connection was reset while the page was loading".
We also use Thunderbird 8.0 and it does not exhibit this problem, and works at the same time as Firefox 8.0. I suspect they might share some components.

Itunes 8.02 will not install all the way... will not recognize iphone
I attempted to "upgrade" to itunes 8.02 from 8.01, at first the installer would not even start installing. I uninstalled all apple software, ie: quicktime, itunes, mobile device service. Downloaded the 64bit vista version of itunes and started to install, the installer got through quick time and itunes. In fact itunes is working now and says its version 8.02, it was a little odd that all my songs and settings where still in there though (might be a new feature?) needless to say the installer stop when it said publishing information and performing the services install.
When I connect my iphone the error says: "iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install the 64-bit version of itunes." Now the default folder for itunes is /program files(x86) which means it was installing it as a x86 app, when i attempted to change the folder for just the /program files folder where the normal 64bit apps go, the installer crashes on me......you may need to intall it the way I did, it might just get it to work.

My phone will not text just one number. How do I fix it? Help, please!
I cannot text one single number. I receive his texts, but cannot send out. I have tried everything I have come upon. Verizon was unable to help me in the store, they were boggled as to what it could be. I turned iMessage off, reset, turned it back on. Deleted the contact. Switched the number and texted the individual number. We can call back and forth, no problem. Any info would be helpful, since nothing else is working.
Maybe the issue is with the other person, since you can text everyone else.

Do you have problem with other iMessage recipients?
If no, then that contact needs to fix it on their end. That's nothing you can do on your end. -
I am trying to copy photos from an iPad to a Mac Air, but iPhoto does not recognize them. Please forgive the ignorance, but we have just started moving to apple products and I know nothing about them. Do you have to use PhotoStream to do this?
How did the photos that you want to copy off get on the iPad ? To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a Mac you should be able to use iPhoto, Aperture or Image Capture
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer. -

You can use multiple AppleIDs to purchase new music but you are limited as to how frequently you can change authorizations for re-downloading past purchases. It may well be a measure to deter piracy by stopping a group of people from going around to a friend's computer and downloading purchases on the other person's computer. It is easy to avoid by making sure you have backup copies on drives at home so you never need to redownload anything.

ICal One-Way Sync? (iPhone to Mac)
So, the other day my mother accidentally erased all of her events in iCal on her Mac. She still had them all on her iPhone, so she tried to sync it with her Mac to undo the deletions. But it did the opposite; all of her events were lost on her phone. Luckily, I was able to restore her back-up onto her iPhone. So I need to know if there is a way to sync the events (one-way) from the phone onto the Mac.

I am not sure if I will follow your advice, however. While you're probably right and it should be a true sync, what I was trying to say was that in my case (and apparently Berit's as well) it simply isn't.
Which means that apart from the fact that we will probably have to clean out our adress books and calendars again after a reset and sync. I've done that three times already and believe me, it's a major pain. Plus, there is also a chance it won't work afterwards.
I was actually hoping for there to be some workaround solution like a one-way sync. And I'm not happy with Apple's tendency to prevent such workarounds wherever they can. I understand they want to profit from their awesome products but wherever anything doesn't work they're starting to lose their user friendliness along the way. Which still, to me, is their selling point number one, notwithstanding the really great design.
Honestly, I'm not sure what to do right now.

Issue in fault mintoring in a one way service in Oracle BTM

I am using BTM 12.1.0.3 I am trying to monitor fault in BTM. For asynchronous and synchronous service I am able to view the fault but for a one way even though fault monitoring is enabled I am not able to view the fault and know about the occurrence of the fault. Can anyone please tell me what can be the issue? Is fault monitoring is not possible with one way services?

Yes correct. In a one-way operation if the message arrives at the calling provider then no response/fault is provided by the provider. This means that BPEL won't wait for the response/fault and continues processing.
If you want to be aware of any fault you can obviously log the fault from your database PL/SQL procedure.
