HT6389 If I purchased an app that is "Not Shareable", does that mean that no one in my Family Group can download it? Even if they want to purchase it again?
I have several apps that opted out of Family Sharing. I understand that, but what makes no sense is that a family member can't purchase the app because I downloaded it in the past.
Is there a fix?
Thanks.
Open the itunes store on your computer and click Purchased under Quick Links. You can get it from there.

Is there a way to hide apps from the app store?
I don't want my kids to see those "free" apps that nag you to spend real money and download their other apps!
I can hide them from "purchased apps", but they still show up when browsing for new apps!
Is there a way to hide them so that my kids will never see them when looking for new apps? Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps. -
when i try to purchase an inapp download it tells me i must purchase the app that this item is for before i can purchase the item. I already own the app. Zen Pinball im trying to buy add on tables.
Me to, I spent 50 dollars to buy this and at first it said I didn't have enough money
Credit, no saying I have to buy the app when I already have it....in getting tired of crap like this. Thinking about no buying apple products anymore. -
i live in Puerto Rico, my problem is that iTunes has told me today by email and iTunes app that my music pre order is available for download today, but i can't download the album.
Hi there c_varisco_pr!
I have an article here that I believe will help you get this issue resolved. This article can tell you how to report an issue with your purchase to iTunes, and it can be found here:

hello apple guys, after installing OS X Mavericks, i can't open app store, reminders, contacts, mail(crash), maps, Image Capture, and other apps that comes with Mavericks OS, how i can solve this problem?
So is this the way Apple works now? Not solving customers problems? I'm sure so many users have had this problem. I've had, and I reinstalled Mavericks 3 times. Works fine for some days and then several Apple Apps stop working. Is that a way to force us ti update to Yosemite? (I don't want to) and then pay to update some third party programs (i.e. Pro Tools). Also, there are so many 15" MacBooks Pro with graphic problems and of course the guys at the Apple Service Centers always say: "It's the logic board, you can have it replaced, but it's so expensive I would recommend a new Mac". I really, really miss Steve Jobs!

OS X lion says that i need more space till i can download the app what should i do?
OS X Lion says that I need more space till I can download OS X Lion in the App Store, what should I do?
More hard drive space or more RAM? Lion will need at least 10gb of free space on the hard drive and a minimum of 2gb of RAM.

Apps that I have bought no longer marked as 'Download' or 'Install' in iTunes
I am running iTunes 11.0.1 and has been working just fine until recently.
The apps that I have bought no longer marked as 'Download' or 'Install' in iTunes->iTunes Store->Apps listing. That error message is usually indicative of a problem with the App Store. If you look through the forums, you'll see that a number of people are experiencing the problem. Try again tomorrow.

Suddenly the apps I downloaded won't work. The screen "blinks" for a second as if the app is loading, and then returns to the home screen. All the apps that came with the iPod seem to be working fine. How to get them all working again?
First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading another free app from the App Store.
More troubleshooting here.

Lastly, try to restore the iPod from a previous backup or restoring it to factory settings.

when i go to sync my apps with my computer it tells me ''are you sure you want to sync apps ? all exsisting apps and there data on (iphone) will be replaced with the apps on this itunes library'' does this mean all my data will be lost if i continue ?
Regarding your broken, previously authorized computer, here's how that works:
You would authorize your new computer -- maybe you've done that already. Then you will have two computers authorized. Apple allows you to have up to five computers authorized at any time. If you get to five, you can then go to your account details in iTunes and remove all authorizations.
Bear in mind this is not saying you can synch to more tham one library. Razmee209 and gdgmacguy's comments above are correct. But if Apple only allowed you to authorize one computer at a time, then having a broken computer would mean you could no longer use your Apple ID with iTunes. -
Siri in Spanish is an application that i´ll can download to my iphone or I must buy iphone again???
Siri is a feature of the iPhone 4S.
If you have a 4S, it is already installed.
If you have any other model of the iPhone, Siri is not available. -
I have two PCs that I need to deauthorize so I can download tunes to my new laptop. Trouble is, they are both out of commission. Is there anyway I can deauthorize them remotely?
De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
For more information on authorization and de-authorization: iTunes Store- Authorize or deauthorize your Mac or PC. -
I lost my phone, and find my device app wont show its offline, does this mean my phone got restored
It might have been restored, turned off, or just not have a data connection to the internet (such as by removing the sim card and turning off wifi). If it appears on the devices list in Find My iPhone, you can issue a Lost Mode command, which will lock it with a passcode and display a message of your choosing if and when it goes back online (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f0165).

What do you do if you have bought a used iPad and the apps won't update without the original id and password. Can't delete the apps that come with the iPad and reinstall them so what do I do?
Correct. An app can only be updated under the Apple ID that was used to orginally acquire the app. If that is a problem you can delete the app and download again under the new userid. If you paid for the app you will have to pay again. Your old Apple ID does not go away so there is no reason to not use it to download the apps.
You cannot delete the apps that came with IOS. If you want to "hide" the apps simply put the apps into an application folder by dragging one app onto another. You can do this to all the IOS apps. -
I added an app that said FREE then after installing it said I had a 14 day trial..I want to delete this and do not know how
If you downloaded the app in iTunes on your computer, and synced the iPod touch, you can unselect the app in iTunes, in the iPod's sync settings for Apps, and Sync the iPod again.
If you downloaded the app directly on the iPod touch, tap and hold on the app's icon (on the iPod's screen). The icons start to "jiggle." Click the X next to the app's icon, to remove that app from the iPod.
