HTML Tag problem when sending mails through APEX

Hi,
My code for sending mail is below:
DECLARE
l_body CLOB;
l_body_html CLOB;
cursor c2 is
SELECT pn,pdt_name FROM lib_details WHERE a_date BETWEEN to_date(:P13_SDATE,'DD-MON_YYYY') AND to_date(:P13_EDATE,'DD-MON-YYYY');
BEGIN
for c_lib in c2
loop
l_body_html:=l_body_html ||
'<html><body>
ul>
li>'||c_lib.pn||' , '||c_lib.pdt_name||' /li>
/ul>'; p;
l_body_html:=l_body_html ||'</body></html>';
apex_mail.send(
p_to => 'xxxx',
p_from => 'xxxx',
p_body => l_body_html,
p_subj => 'Test Mail');
END;
Gives me the output in the format below:
all the <html><body> tags also comes along with the email, though I get the correct output, what is the problem here?
I am not able to figure this out. Can someone help?
OUTPUT
<html><body>
ul> li>a,b
/ul><html><body>
ul> li>c,d
/ul><html><body>
PLEASE NOTE: I have intentionally removed the starting tags (<) of ul and li so that the post will not be formatted.

I am not able to figure this out. Can someone help?For HTML output you need to send it using the <tt>p_body_html</tt> parameter, not <tt>p_body</tt>.
PLEASE NOTE: I have intentionally removed the starting tags (&lt;) of ul and li so that the post will not be formatted.Posting code wrapped in <tt>\...\</tt> tags eliminates the need to resort to these bizarre circumlocutions.

    If you are using Custom Notification XML, make sure to have StaticData element in it. StaticData defines the entitites that can be used in the notification template, and these entities attributes are used to define substitution tokens in the template.

  • Textarea problem when sending mail (only Firefox)

    When sending mail using textarea item with multiple lines, carriage returns are taken away in resulting mail when sent in Firefox, but not in IE.
    To send mail, I call Javascript function that gets textarea value ($v or $x.innerHTML give the same result) and calls then on-demand process that calls in turn APEX_MAIL function.

    Thank you, Jari!
    "pre" did the trick. Line breaks are OK now.
    There is one small inconvenience, though: font becomes Courrier instead of sans-serif type. But this is less disturbing than missing line breaks.

  • Problem when sending mails with excel attached

    Hi
      I'm tryin to send mails via SAPOffice with attached excel documents. I'm using FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. I have a problem with the code. Here I post it:

    I have used this code before, in 4.6C release and it works fine, but now I'm on ECC5.0 and when i check the code, the next error message is generated: ""I_EXCEL" cannot be converted to a character-type field." If i try using MOVE i_excel TO i_objbin-line instead of WRITE, the error message changes to: ""TI_OBJBIN-LINE" and "I_EXCEL" are not mutually convertible in a Unicode program. program.". I have tried using ti_objhex table instead of ti_objbin in order to use 'context_hex' parameter (instead of 'context_bin') on FM, but i get the same result.
    I've been searching any other FM to do this, and i've found more FM of SOI1 function group but i didn´t get the expected result. So i need to send the message with the excel attached, using this FM or any other, but I need some help.  Anyone can help me?

  • Problems in sending mailes through outlook proffesional pro 2013

    I have the office profesional pro 2013
    lately I can not send e. mailes I do not receive any error notification it seems that the problem is in the outlook
    but I do receive mailes correctly
    can you help???

    Hi,
    What type of account are you using in Outlook? Exchange, IMAP or POP3?
    Please try logging on your webmail(owa), check if your can send emails on Web.
    Moreover, are the sent emails stuck in Outbox or in Sent Items?
    I suggest you disable the firewall and anti-virus program to try again.
    In case it's caused by a corrupted data file, please run Scanpst.exe to repair the data file(.pst or .ost):
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/272227/en-us
    You should also go to FILE tab -> Account Settings
    -> Account Settings, double check if the smtp settings are correct in your account. You should contact your ISP to get the Account Settings.

  • HTML tag problem when adding Google rich snippets in templates?

    The new Google plus Rich Snippets allow us to add a schema tag like this example:
    <html itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Article">
    I can do this on my .html pages but as soon as I make any changes to the .dwt template for the page it reverts all of the tags back to <html>
    How do I stop this happening?
    I have tried:
    Changing preferences in Dreamweaver's default code rewrite settings to "'Never Rewrite Code' for HTML document type " but this does not appear to fix things.
    Very frustrating as I have lost days of work.
    Any help would be appreciated
    many thanks
    Craig

    I've done what you have said (I think) however something is not quite right. I am asssuming that I need to add the schema below the <BODY> tag if I make the changes to the template as you have suggested.
    This is my practice page which is in a template:
    http://www.psychics.co.uk/lovepsychic/index.html
    Following the Adobe instruction on the forum: High at the top of the header section we get this code:
    <!-- InstanceParam name="GRS" type="text" value="itemscope itemtype=&quot;http://schema.org/Product"" -->
    For the customised body tag we get this:
    <body itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Product">
    Then on the left column of the page and below the navigation and below the <body> I have added this:
    <!-- Start Google snippet -->
    <h1 itemprop="name" content="Love Psychics Readings">Love Psychics - Psychic Love Predictions Online</h1>
    <img itemprop="image" content="http://www.psychics.co.uk/images/schema/love.jpg" src="/images/stars.gif" width="160" height="76" alt="Psychics and Mediums Network"></img>
    <p itemprop="description" content="Getting a reading with love psychics to find out about relationships, love, romance, marriage and family. Article about our Love psychics readings onlineservices.">Copyright Psychics &amp; Mediums Network - QKE Ltd.</p>
      <!-- End Google snippet -->
    I must be getting close but it just shows the normal Google plus stuff.
    I need to get your microdata markup into the body of the document somewhere - otherwise Google will use the something like <title> and <meta description>  tags and guess at an image.
    Any idea where I am going wrong or is it a quirk in Dreamweaver?

    Please help me
    thank you in advance

    I would try to telnet to the SMTP host first from your OS, to check that you have the correct host and port.
    The AOL SMTP server may be blocked by a firewall, if you are not on a dial-up connection to AOL.
    try:
    telnet aol.com 25
    You should get ' connecting to aol.com...'
    1-----------------------------------------------------
    and if the SMTP server is accepting connections you will get.. somthing like..
    Connecting to aol.com
    220 aol.com ESMTP Server (Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service 5.5.2653.13) ready
    type 'HELO' and hit return, it will not apear on the screen you shoud get 'OK'
    2-----------------------------------------------------
    if NOT you will get something like
    Connecting To aol.com...Could not open a connection to host on port 25 : Connect failed
    Hope this helps, Best Regards Gareth

  • Default sip: adress when sending mail through scsm 2012 console

    As the title states, if i attempt to send email to a user by using the "people picker" option in a work item, Outlook opens and writes sip:[email protected] in the adress field.
    Im using SCSM 2012 sp1 and the Exchange connector 3.0. Notifications and so on seems to work but my analysts are quite furious about having to erase the first four characters before sending a mail..
    Is there some part of configuration I have missed?
    Would greatly appreciate any feedback!

    Hi,
    For me all is ok.
    Can you check if the SMTP Channel is ok to the SCSM user ?
    You must verify this also on your Active Directory if the field email is ok.
    SIP adresse is to use with Link or MOCS.

  • I18n: having problems when sending accents through sockets

    Hi, I need help. I have to send a file, plain text whith accents. Say I have the following sentence in Spanish, "hace fro" (it's cold); when the server gets the file, what I get is: "hace fr?o".
    I'm using the following on the client side:
    PrintWriter os = new PrintWriter(new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(client.getOutputStream(),
    "ISO-8859-1")),true);
    and the next one on the server side:
    is = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(socket.getInputStream(), "ISO-8859-1"));
    what am I doing wrong? I don't know whatelse I could try. I'm starting to think maybe it has to do with some configuration file in my machine (LINUX). Any idea?
    Thanks a lot!

    First of all, thanks a lot!
    It does work exporting LANG; however, it doesn't work using InputStreamReader and the charset.
      Reader fichProcesar = new InputStreamReader(new FileInputStream(args[0]), "ISO-8859-1");
      infich = new BufferedReader(fichProcesar);
       //env?o del fichero l?nea a l?nea hasta la l?nea FIN
       while (true) {
              String lineaProcesar = infich.readLine();
              System.out.println("Linea a enviar "+ lineaProcesar);
              os.println(lineaProcesar);
              if (lineaProcesar == null) break;
        }I don't want to bother you, but I prefer the option of using fixed encoding. It's
    "more portable".
    Could you tell me if I did something wrong, again, this time?
    Thanks a lot for your time.
    FileReader uses the platform's default encoding for
    reading the file. On a *nix system (like Linux) the
    default encoding depends on the locale settings; if
    you have not set the locale the default encoding is
    US-ASCII that doesn't support accented characters.
    You can either set up a locale that supports accented
    characters or use a fixed encoding for reading the
    file.
    A locale is simply set up by setting the environment
    variable LANG to some value, like "es_ES" for Spanish
    in Spain. If you use the bash shell the command you
    need is "export LANG=es_ES"
    To use a fixed encoding use FileInputStream with an
    InputStreamReader. For instance if the file is
    ISO-8859-1-encoded you'd use code like
    this:Reader fichProcesar = new
    InputStreamReader(new FileInputStream(args[0]),
    "ISO-8859-1");

    I navigated to the location C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13\bin in command prompt and typed the following command to create the keystore
    keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias root -file mail_test_com.crt -keystore keystore.jksI was asked to set the password for keystore and then i was asked the question "Trust this certificate? [no]:" for which i gave yes.
    If this is not the right place to create the keystore.jks can you please tell me what is correct location to create the keystore file.
