Since I am pretty new to LabView, I have tried to build this with examples given and have things running my way except for this trigger problem. I would like to have my acquisition channel serve as my trigger channel and only log data after this point is reached and stop after the level goes back under the set point.

I apologize, but I did not realize what hardware you were using previously. The 6024E card does not have analog triggers. It only supports digital triggering. Therefore, you will be unable to configure an analog start and stop trigger.
In order to configure a digital start and stop trigger, you may want to look at the following example program.

The work-around since your board does not support analog triggering is to use conditional retrieval, which implements a circular buffer in c
omputer memory and checks each point as it is acquired to see if it matches the trigger conditions. When the trigger conditions are met LabVIEW reads the desired data from the buffer. Since the program you are pointing me to uses conditional retrieval, I will assume you already knew of this work-around. Basically you will no longer be performing a hardware trigger. Instead you will just be checking each input value to see if it falls in an acceptable range. Unfortunately, the VI you attached to your post is missing subVIs. I cannot open your attachment and run it with the broken subVIs. You will need to save your application as a library (llb) in order for me to view it.

I need to acquire analog data after a set point level is reached until the signal falls back below that set point. The max level will be realtively high compared to the set point. I only seem to be logging data around a very narrow band relative to the set point. The vi is attahced. Thanks!

Well, that still didn't include your trigger level VI. No matter. First, upon taking a further look at your loop, you start a buffered continuous analog acquisition, but you don't have anything wired to the "number of scans to read" input of your AI read VI. The default for this input is -1, which means you read the entire buffer. This is not the setting you want when doing a continuous acquisition; you may get overrun errors doing this. You want to read a constant amount of data out of the buffer at a time, and it has to be less than your buffer size.
Second, this is not a limitation of your DAQ board. As long as your DAQ board can do buffered analog input, the triggering you are using is a software trigger, which is NOT a function o
f the DAQ board. The AI Read VI reads the data out of the buffer, and then based on the trigger specifications, determines whether or not this data should be passed out of the VI.
Since your arrays are not particularly large, I think it best to do it a different way. For example, the way you are doing it, the AI Read VI will return part of the buffer when the trigger occurs, but then stop because the next reading from memory that it does may not satisfy trigger conditions (no "edge", rising or falling).
Therefore, I propose that you get EVERY piece of data out of the AI Read VI (no trigger at all), and search through a particular channel's data for your trigger level. The first value that is above the trigger, get the rest of the data from that array. Then search the next arrays that come from AI Read VI until the value goes below the trigger value, and stop the acquisition when this occurs.
I can show you how to do that. It's not that difficult.

Note that nowhere in the Boot Camp instructions does it tell you to use Disk Utility to format the Windows partition. The Boot Camp Assistant program creates the partition & sets the +partition scheme info+ of the disk as appropriate for the Windows installer but the Windows installer itself is responsible for formatting the new partition with the appropriate +file system scheme+ (NTFS for Windows 7).
If you follow the instructions in the Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide to the letter you should have no problems installing Windows.

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

Trust me when I say this coming from 20 years of experience.
Get a powered external drive, format it 1 Partition Option: GUID and OS X Extended Journed as the format in Disk Utility.
Download and install Carbon Copy Cloner, clone internal drive to external drive.
Set a schedule to remind you to do it at least once a week, keep it near your charger.
When you plug your charger in, do plug the clone and power the machine up, set the display to sleep only,
CCC will do the rest.
If you want to boot from it, hold the option/alt and select it Startup Manager.
I've seen many TimeMachine and TimeCapsule nightmares and so far haven't seen a problem from anyone using a bootable clone.
It's simple, it's easy, it's more reliable and more powerful than what Apple does and it only takes plugging in a extra cable.
Make as many clones as you want, keep them time seperated, off site etc. etc.
Cables don't have network issues, clones can be verified in seconds merely by booting from them.
Clones protect your productivity, your up in seconds on a clone despite even the hard drive dying.
Software problem? No sweat, boot of the clone and reverse clone your problems away.
If you want to fuss and muss with half implemented TimeMachine and TimeCapsule network headaches then prepare to suffer.
I don't like to suffer, I bought a Mac not to suffer, but it appears you do with TimeMachine and TimeCapsule.

Why can't you use her ID? My wife, my daughter and I all use my Apple ID.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and try to sign in there with her ID. Make sure that you are entering all of the information (password) correctly.
If you really want to create a new Apple ID - use your own email address, but I would recommend using only one ID anyway.

Use reference trigger for cyclic recording data

Hi,
Before I start, let me briefly introduce what hardware I have and what I want to achieve.
I got SCXI-1000 (Chassis), SCXI-1102C (module), SCXI-1303 (terminal block,
mainly for temperature sensor input); a couple month ago I bought feedthrough SCXI-1180 and terminal SCXI-1302 to input my digital signal (see attached PNG file). In fact, I have two digital signals to input. The first one is Injection digital signal (input as PFI0) which will trigger the start of recording my
temperature profile; The second is packing signal (input as PFI1), which I want to use as a reference trigger to stop the recording and save as the cycle file.
And then the injection cycle keeps going. Please see the attached VI for details.
I get my digital trigger working to start recording my temperature sensor profile. However, I can't get the second part trigger to stop the recording.
The error message from running my VI is that a reference trigger is only applicable for finite sampling. It seems that I need continuous sampling to recording my temperature profile! So, by looking through my VI, please give some suggestions to do the task and solutions to solve the conflictions for sampling.
Your assistance is higly appreciated.

I've tried with the way you suggested to poll out the digital line. In your VI, it will stop the running of the whole program when the second signal jumps up. If you see my VI attached, I'd like to start recording with the first trigger and then stop the cycle file by the second trigger signal falls down, and then keep recording the second cycle until clicking stop (reference to my signal illustration).
So what I am trying is to use both trigger signal to output a boolean value (when both trigger signals are 0), reverse it to true (1), and use it to stop the cycle file. But I am still little far away from doing the task. Is there any way to do the cyclic file as I want with or without 'Write to Measurement File' VI?
Please edit my VI and save in V8.5. Thanks for your help!

Using a waveform graph, how to get all recorded data graphed?

I record data from 6 channels using DAQmx with simulated channels and write to measurement file. Then using read from measurement file, and waveform graph, I am trying to graph the data that has been recorded. I am only getting a small amount graphed. The same graph appears whether I have let the measure and record program run for 1 minute or for ten minutes. It also displays a time at the end of the graph that is in the future. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

again image capture is not involved with deleting photos from iPhoto in any way ever
the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager is very good for finding duplicates as is Duplicate Annihilator

I have cleared brush settings a.I've set all settings to what I can tell is normal. I just don't get what's going on.

You appear to be roaming the forum giving the same advice for every problem. My advice is that people ignore your advice until we can veryfiy it is above board.

Max memory used in imac 2007 is 4gb but only 3 gb is every used

imac mid 2007 24inch has 4 gb installed but only uses 3gb.

It seems that there is other data that is taking up space on the iPod. I suggest formating the iPod.
Connect the iPod
Open My Computer
Right Click the iPod
Choose Format
Simply click ok.
Once you have formated the iPod you need to restore it (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983)
Then try and update the music on the iPod.

This should not be a problem, I have a mix of Apple & PC libraries on the ATV.
Looks like you have another issue going on there, perhaps one of your computers is going to sleep or something.
