I can not complete the download of os 5 from my pc to my ipad? The download completes the first portion, then on the second portion, it stops and a error message about connectivity appears, everytime. What do I do?
Please advise, as I am trying to upgrade to OS 5 from my PC to my iPad. I am trying to clean up all my apple devices and accounts so that when my new iphone comes in, I can synch everything with the iphone and icloud.

Itunes was working fine. Tried to install latest upgrade and get error message about an invalid character in the path "Program Files (x86)". PC, Win7, nothing else appears to be having same issue. Program still works, simply cannor upgrade.

I tried this solution without success. After FixIt ran and didn't find a problem, either in looking for issues with "software upgrade" or "iTunes" it kindly offered to help me uninstall iTunes. I had thought of this as a possibilty but it seems to me that if you do that you lose a lot of "non-native-to-Apple" information you might have entered. I did this once and recovery was painfull. Is there a way to uninstall iTunes without losing all of that sort of thing? Any help would be appreciated. -
I have been using CS6 for two years without incident. Suddenly the Media Encoder stops working, showing APPCRASH and displaying error message about WatchFolder.dll - I tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail - can anyone help?

great Problemes after installing Yosemite (10.10.2 ) with Photoshop CS6....The program crashes --last time 10 times during my work session..wacomtable doesnt work..it is slow...and get error messages about the graphic card....It s a Terror to work with my beloved Photoshop!
The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.

Error message about connecting to Yahoo mail
Can some one please help me with this?
I keep getting a pop-up message:
"The POP server “pop.mail.yahoo.com” rejected the password for user “bela_kerkay”
Please re-enter your password, or cancel."
It was working for several weeks without a hitch and now this message keeps coming up. More frequently as time goes on. Now it's popping up at about 30 seconds apart. It's really annoying.
And when I type in my password, it disappears and then 30 seconds later "pop" there it is again. Typing my password in doesn't seem to help.
Any ideas?

fine, so I don't think it's a problem with the Yahoo
server.
I wouldn't necessarily make that assumption -- web mail and pop mail probably work off different servers, so one could be down (or functioning incorrectly) while the other is not.
That said, if it's been happening for several days, you probably either have a setting incorrect (unlikely if it was working at some point and you didn't change anything) or there's something strange going on at the Yahoo end. I'm assuming that you're not having any other networking problems, is that correct? I'd probably contact Yahoo tech support. -
I have updated my iPhone 4 with itunes 10.5 and my phone has stopped working and it only comes up with an error message 1611 saying there is a hardware issue - yet all I did was plug it to my computer. ITunes cannot play my rented movie. The timeline stops and no error message pop up.
I rented two movies from iTunes store yesterday. It's still valid. But my iTunes cannot play it. After I click on the 'play' button, the timeline does no move forward and the screen remains in black. No error message pops up. What's wrong with this iTunes player??

try going into settings, safari and clear history. You may also want to clear cookies (means you will need to sign back into sites)
It's possible that that page is a popup ad of some sort that can't run, for example a flash based ad. You may have picked the cookie up browsing the internet and now that it's in there the only way to get rid of it is to clear your history and cookies. -
Just installed Mac OS X 10.8.5 on a Mac Pro 2010 platform.
The App Store shows there is an upgrade, so I click the download button.
After about 2 hrs the process stops and an Error (102) appears on the screen.
Any idea what goes wrong?

If the App Store is showing 10.8.5 as an update, what do you currently have installed? The final update to Mountain Lion was 10.8.5, and since the basic OS installation of Mountain Lion is no longer offered in the App Store, that would suggest you're currently at an earlier version of Mountain Lion - 10.8.x where x=less than 5. If that's the case, I'd suggest getting the 10.8.5 update. There is also a Supplemental Update for 10.8.5 and that may be what the App Store is offering. -

I have an article here that has a list of settings to get from your Email provider so you can make sure that the settings are correct. It has troubleshooting steps to try as well. Also I would recommend restarting the router, and/or testing a differnet network.

Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage to ensure that the device has Internet access. If you're unable to load a webpage, try the Wi-Fi assistant.

If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, try to disable Wi-Fi: Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If not, try a different Wi-Fi network.
Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.

iTunes randomly stops playing purchases that have previously viewed on the same hardware. It has an error message about HD. How can this issue be resolved? What information is available besides the "learn more" option that does not deal with the problem?

I also tried with and without your crossdomain.xml file but
with the same result. It looks like this file is intended for URL
policy, instead of socket policy. Recently Adobe separated the two.
When I run with the files installed on my dev PC, it does
work, which makes sense because the flash player isn't loaded from
an unknown domain.
I did get one step closer. If a crossdomain.xml in the server
root exists and the socketpolicy file is loaded from the app folder
then the first two warnings disappear. The logs now show:

UPDATE: When serving up the policy file on port 843 using the

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
