I can't do anything. I need HELP!
I couldn't remember my admin password so I followed the instructions online and put the Mac OS X Install DVD in and held down the C button, then I clicked my language and reset my password.
I then did what the instructions said and quit the password window and restarted my computer.
When it restarted it took me back to the Mac OS X Install DVD window - the exact thing I had just been on.
I can not do anything because I am stuck on this screen and I have no clue what to do.
I found a way to eject the disc and that did nothing now my computer does nothing, even more than before - it's just a gray screen with the apple logo.
I'm scared that I lost all of my work for the last few years because I needed to reset a silly password.
I would love all the help I can get because I'm fairly flustered and I have no clue what to do.
So it is a MacBook Pro? Well, With my iMac, somtimes after a power failure, It takes a while for the machine to start up. If that dosen't work, I would Reinstall Mac OS X. You will have 3 options.
1) Erase and install
2) Archive install
3) Archive install Preserving Users and Network
If you choose 1, all files are deleted. If you choose 2, all files in the four OS X installed folders (Applications, Library, System, and Users) are put in a folder called "Previous Systems" and a new system with a new user account is installed. If you choose 3, all files in Applications, Library, and System are put in a folder called "Previous Systems" and a new system with the same old user account(s) is installed.
For what you want, I would choose option 2, archive install. Hope this helps.

What model year Mac and what version of OS X are you running.
If this is on an older Mac with standard Rotating HDD it could be a sign the HDD is either to full of data or it is starting to fail. It could also be caused by 3rd party software you've installed. -

It sounds like you're going to have to put the iPad in to recovery mode before you can restore it. The article linked below provides more details about the passcode lock and will walk you through putting the process of restoring from recovery mode.

Use recovery mode
Follow these steps if you never synced your device with iTunes, if you don't have Find My iPhone set up, or if you can't get to your own computer. You'll need to put your device in recovery mode, which will erase the device and its passcode. Then you'll restore your device as new or from a backup.
Disconnect all cables from your device.
Turn off your device.
Press and hold the Home button. While holding the Home button, connect your device to iTunes. If your device doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode.
Click OK, then restore the device.

No it is not. iPhones, like all cell phones are not locked to countries. They are locked to carriers.

All of my photos are displayed as BW because somehow I've saved a quick develop preset and it saves as BW. This is for all of my photos. I can individually undo them but need help in how to get rid of the preset so all photos goes to Default or as shot. thanks
Go to the develop module and highlight all of the images in the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen. Then activate Auto-sync and click on the Reset button. That should reset all of the images to your camera default settings.

I Have a MacBook Pro 13, which I bought in 2010. I'm not really sure which version of operating system I do have, because I haven't updated it for a long time. I've changed my password recently and now I can't unlock it. It just jiggles and says that password is wrong. Then it asks the security question, but even doesn't work. I'm pretty sure that I'm typing everything correct, but it's not working. I took it to the service store, they couldn't do anything. Please help me to unlock it.
A login password for the computer is not the password used for your Apple ID. To change a forgotten or lost password:

For Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

My ipod touch 2nd generation is unresponsive. When I try to connect to Itunes it is recognizing it as an iphone. I can't power up or reset anything. Please help.

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
