I cannot choose the MX skin for the help

Hi,
I am in the process of testing RoboHelp8, and I am generating layers for some old projects.
Everything is OK till now, however for some reason, I cannot choose the MX skin for my Flash layer.
I used in the old projects the MX skin, however now when I try to select it, I press the OK button and nothing is happening.
I can select however any other skin. Only the MX does not want to select.
Did anybody met this issue till now?

Cannot find the Help Deactivate in Photoshop CS3.

I have CS3 installed on my work PC and my home PC. I need to uninstall one of them and move it temporarily to a laptop. From everything I've read, the Deactivate solution sounds like a very easy way to accomplish this. But cannot see Deactivate in the Help menu....it's just not there.
I had purchased the upgrade version of CS3 and installed it over prevoius version of Photoshop....all run XP.
How can I accomplish this?

It may be hidden if you have Photoshop set to other than the default workspace.
Are you connected to the internet when you try?

Cannot navigate the Help file

I'm using SAP B1 8.82 PL04.
It seems that I changed something in my SAP folders and files.
The thing is that SAP help file doesn't work properly with F1 function key.
For the help file, the left menus are fine, but the right contents doesn't read.
The right panel reads, "Navigation to the webpage was canceled".
Does anyone have the solution?

I cannot open the Help tab in Numbers

I have just upgraded to Mountain Lion.
Unfortunately when I try to open the Help tab within Numbers nothing opens.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this?

Until that issue is solved, you should be able to access Numbers Help at the URL below:

I would second Wayne's suggestion to download the numbers '09 User Guide, though. I've found the guide (and the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide) to be a better source of help than the help files.

Customizable skins for AIR Help viewer?

Hello all,
Testing this new AIR help output in RH8 on my projects, I
already find it difficult to revert to Webhelp or HTML Help. Really
good things in it!
However, I was wondering whether the AIR Help viewer skins
would be customizable... Does anyone know how to do this? Or is
there a skin gallery for AIR help somewhere?
I might be asking too much so early after RH8 release but
with only three skins available, I feel a bit frustrated.

Hi, Dominique!
I agree that we only have a "taste" of the potential of can
be done with AIR help. It is still very new and evolving. The
templates generally dictate the functionality and the "skins" form
the cosmetic appearance. Right now you sometimes have to make
difficult choices between functionality vs. appearance and
obviously we would like to have control over both!
I have been able to chat with Adobe folks about this and they
seem very open to making improvements. This will be tops on my
personal "wish list" when I visit with them at WritersUA in
Seattle, March 29. (Peter and Rick Stone will be there as well.
Perhaps you will be there?)
Stay tuned. I think you will be hearing more about this in
the future.

Designing new skins for online help AIR App

I hope to output my online help as an AIR application, and one thing I want to be able to do is customise the skin to make it on-brand with our existing applications and corporate look and feel.
I am using Robohelp x5, and Adobe CS3 Design Premium, but plan to upgrade both to the newest versions in the near future.
I have been looking around the web and nothing leaps out as a definite solution.
What do I need to edit and what application should I edit it in?
All thoughts and suggestions gratefully received.
BTW: I have seen the other posts on this subject and have submitted this to the 'Wish list'. However in the meantime I want to see if I can create a customised skin with the help of a developer. (Also can't figure how to move this post to the AIR Help forum!)

HT201412 my ipod touch is randomly playing songs on its own. i cannot choose the song I want to hear it continuosly skips several songs and then suddenly plays it. also the album cover does not match the song playing

My ipod touch is randomly playing songs on its own. It skips several songs then suddenly stops and plays that song. If i try to select a song it will not play that song it keeps skipping over severla songs at a time then plays again. The album covers do not match that song that is playing and now its not connected to wifi. I need help

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

The selection screen cannot choose the multiple values at first instance?

   I have 2 select-options on the selection screen as follows>>
SELECT-OPTIONS :
                   s_subusr FOR pa0105-usrid NO INTERVALS OBLIGATORY,
                  s_period FOR vbak-erdat   NO-EXTENSION OBLIGATORY.
When I try to enter multiple values by clicking the multiple option button when noting is entered as input on the selection screen.I get a error"Make entry in all required fields".
But when I enter a value on the selection screen input for s_subusr and then enter value in s_period and then click on multiple option button I am able to see the multi-option Popup.Now I can enter multiple Values.
Please can anyone help me to enter the values on the multiple option Pop-up whenever the user want?

OBLIGATORY means you have to enter the values , with out filling that values and if you click any thing it will show an error message saying that fill alla required fields
so if you want you can remove that
or if you want to keep that OBLIGATORY then fill some values 1st in that select-options and clcik on multiple entries button then it won't show any error

Problem moutning in xp-cannot choose the disk i want!

i've got a g3 server running on my network, and it has three hardrives in it. i want the pc to mount one of the harddrives which is NOT the startup disk. XP doesn't give me the option of what disc to mount, as OS X does. how can i get arround this? thanks in advance!!

Ok.Merci. I will make a test. I've been working with this software now for few months and I should say that a simple back up or moving our projects to work from a computer to another it's quit a challenge with FCP X compare to 7 . I guess we'll get use to it !! Thanks a lot for your support Tom

Cannot choose the system language while first system setup

I have just got my new laptop. When i turned it on for the 1st time it asks you what language you want
so when i went to do this i couldn't fine the mouse and the touch pad wouldn't do any thing.
So what can i try to find this ??

What is "line mask" of "DIO PORT WRITE.VI"?? I CANNOT Understand the Help file.

The line mask is used to mask off the bits you are not interested in or you do not want to change. It is normally applicable when writing to a port.
For example if the existing port value was 0b00001111 and you are writing the value 0b10101010 to a port. If the line mask was 0b00000001 the new value written to the port would be 0b00001110. If the line mask was 0b00001111 the new value would be 0b00001010. If the line mask was the default 0b11111111 the new value of the port would be 0b10101010.
Basically the mask lets you know what values to change. I hope this helps out and let us know if this is still confusing.

Cannot read the help files in Cubase 6

When I try to access the online help files, manuals, documentation from within Cubase 6 I get a "Could not find manual" message. Not finding anythng relevant on the Steinberg (Cubase) forum I would like to ascertain whether it is a Cubase issue or are there any settings I could make to Adobe Reader X v10.0.1 or Windows 7 64bit that would solve this. cheers.

The entries in your map file should take the form
<mapID target="target_string" url="html/filename.htm" />
so that the url includes the relative path from the directory where the xml files are.

Why can't I choose the application version via "get info" in the finder anymore

Upgraded to Maverick and installed Indesign CC 2014 only to find Suitcase has not kept up with an upgrade so fonts are not opening. I would like to use Indesign CC (9.2.2) until the font issues are resolved but cannot choose the application version via "get info" in the finder anymore (it just reverts back to CC 2014 when I select CC). I prefer not to uninstall CC 2014 but will if that is the only option.

We don't overwrite your apps so you can keep previous workflows. . Delete apps you don't want when you are ready.

The Help system cannot be launched....

I purchased a copy of DW CS6 a few days ago, and installed it yesterday. It seems to be working ok, but I cannot use the help system. I did a search on google and found this:

I followed the steps as best I could, but it hasn't fixed the problem.
am I overlooking something?

I've received that error before, and although the error message is completely wrong, the cause was that I was not connected to the Internet.
When you press F1 (or go to Help > Dreamweaver Help), Dreamweaver tries to connect to the product documentation online; if it can connect to it, it opens your browser to the main topics page. If it can't connect, then it tries to open the local PDF file of the documentation instead.
I got this error because I did not yet have the local PDF file, which may be the cause for you as well.

Essentially, connect to the Internet, use the Help Manager (look for the shortcut in the Start Menu called "Adobe Help") to download the PDF, then you can disconnect from the Internet again.
