I cannot download pay games, only free games. My ipod was bought from Amazon uk on a uk credit card but we live in Spain. How do I complete a purchase?
When we try to download a PAY game onto the ipod touch a message comes up, your purchase could not be completed. I bought the ipod from Amazon UK on our UK credit card but we live and use in Spain. How can I get PAY downloads?
Location of Purchase, and method of purchase of the device is not important.
You have to make sure the Apple ID you are using in the device has a payment method associated with it that is from the Country or Region the Apple ID is set to.
Check in Settings->iTunes & App Store->Apple ID->View Apple ID->Country/Region and make sure you have a credit card for that Country/Region set under Payment Information
You can only legally buy content from the Apple Store of the country you are physically in.

I would suggest that you buy a visa or mastercard gift card and put a few dollars on it and use it to access the store. Just add money to it before you want to buy something from the store and it will act like a normal credit card for you.

Contact the seller to obtain the needed discs that should have been included. Otherwise, if it's an Intel model you can buy Snow Leopard at an Apple store. If not there's this option:

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. You have a 2G iPod. That App requires at least a 3G iPod..

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists. -

Rajagopal.pngr :- It is only a holding charge, it is not a permanent charge. If it isn't refunded within a few days or so (and it quite possibly won't be over a weekend) then you can query the charge with Apple. -

Tap on the id in Settings > Store and log out of it and then login with your id. Any content already on the iPad will be tied to the previous owner's id and it can't be copied or transferred to your id - so it's probably best to do restore the iPad back to factory defaults and start as from new with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents And Settings
