    Could someone help with this problem. I have firefox 2.0.0.1 and I wanted to upgrade to 2.0.0.11. I downloaded the file from mozilla, opened the .dmg and tried to drag the icon to my applications folder.
    At first, I got a message saying that I didn't have permission (or something like that) so I went into the Get info box and changed the permissions to R & W etc.) I also did disk utility verify permissions. Everything went ok.
    Now I get the following message - The operation cannot be completed because the item "Contents" is in use.

  • Cannot update to iphoto 9.4.1.  What do I need to do?

    Your post is in " iChat  " which is an App on Mac computers.
    You could be using an Apple ID in iCloud on the iPad or in Messages or in fact both.
    If it is an ID issued by Apple it may also be used in the mail app.
    We would need to know more before offering suggestions.

    I enabled usa servers that work but after each download pacman starts searching canadian servers and it goes on for ever. It takes five minutes just to download two small packages this way.
    Here is the idea what I mean.

    What you can re-download will depend upon what country that you are in (music, films, tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and audiobooks and ringtones can't currently be re-downloaded anywhere), and whether they remain in the store (content providers occasionally remove their items). You should keep and maintain your own backup copies of all of your downloads, just in case they are removed from the store (and for apps only the current version of each app is available in the store, so there may come a time when the version in the store requires a higher version of iOS than you have on your iPad).

    Check your security software
    Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
    Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

    Until recently, I have not encountered this problem.  And I am facing this problem for both my iPad and iPhone. 
    I only have 1 iTunes account and the most recent change was that I switched the location from Singapore to UK (I'm currently in the UK).  I also updated my applications a couple of times before since the change in location, so I doubt it's due to the location change.  I've tried signing out of the account in the iTunes accounts on the devices, then signing back in.  I've also tried restarting the devices (and for the iPad, I even updated the iOS). 
    Any idea what else I can do to try to rectify this?

    1.  Yup, my iOS is the latest (6.0.1), and I have 7 apps on my iPhone that apparently have updates.  But it's been 6.0.1 for quite some time and I've also been able to update the apps till just this week.
    2.  I don't have a credit card associated with my account anymore.  Ever since I changed the location, I removed the credit card details.  But I didn't have problems with any of my apps (updating or downloading new ones) until this week.  Also, all the apps I've downloaded since I came to the UK are free apps. 
    I still don't know what's wrong.

    If the iPhone won't Restart you should be able to Reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    For the future (in case you don't' know), go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, and choose your Device under the Backups list.
    Under the Backup Options turn off anything you don't care about (being backed up, that is). This will let you reduce the backup size so that it fits in iCloud again. You can also delete the current backup here.
    You should also check Settings > General > Usage and look at how much data each app is storing. Identify problem apps and go clean out unwanted files.

    I did get it working finally...and your last advice was what I needed.
    I am embarassed that I was an early adopter...SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER and read the problems before creating some for myself.
    This was an excercise in frustration, because of the obtuse division between the appstore and Apple Support downloads... it was a bit of a circuitous route...strange that with all the security reciepts and tracking that Apple goes to to prevent piracy... which Steve by his own admission used to build Apple...
    Why aren't the server scripts smart enough to say…”HEY DUMMY you can't use this download because you purchased the last iPhoto upgrade from the appstore...and… DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME and precious data BUDGET downloading this gargantuan file which will eat 20% of your expensive 5Gb monthly data allotment!!!…and NOT WORK…only pretend to…and then foul your system….kill your productivity and turn your hair whiter…even worse than LION did.
    I am just so antagonized by the inept scripts in recent installations that don't do a diagnostic before allowing installation that is going to corrupt things...I had less effort and frustration when I ran my ATARI with a MAC emulator...rarely lost any productivity to nonsense.
    I AM TIRED OF BETAs dressed as products...designed and rushed out for Apple toys that once were tools of the creative trade...COREL...may still have a chance at a comeback if Apple keeps pumping out toys instead of the venerable tools we once adored as income enhancers.

  • AR Invoice cannot update due date

    Have SAP 2005 installed with 5 databases. In 4 of the databases we can update the due date on the AR invoice screen (As long as document status is open). On one of the databases we cannot update the field. Logging in as manager in all databases.

    No, I have tested for installments and that does not seem to matter. I should have pointed out that one of the databases this DOES NOT work in has a Netherlands localization. Could it be possible that the Netherlands localizations do not allow update of the invoice due date. It appears that this is the case can anyone confirm this?
