I cannot validate my fields

Hi
Sorry i posted agin.Because in my previous post i did not follow the code tag properly
In my project with struts,jsp and oracle i desinged one page with section name (html:select and options)
url(html:text)
like so many things.
So when i load this page section name combo is papulated with datas from the database.So in the corresponding action I wrote like this

sectionList.add(sectionlist);
request.setAttribute("sectionList",sectionList);Here sectionlist is the java class which contains getter and setter methods for fields and sectionList is the arraylist
then in the jsp page i wrote like this
<html:select property="sectionname">
<<html:options collection="sectionList" property="sectionname" />
</html:select>
<html:errors bundle="banneradmin" property="secitonName" /> So No problem all the records are populated into the sectionname combo.So After entering all the fields all the records are added into the table.That also no problem.
Then i did somo testing.That is I leave some fields and press the add button I got the error.But in additionaction class i wrote the lines for validation like
if(bannerlistform.getSectionname()==null
|| (bannerlistform.getSectionname().length() < 1 )) {
errors.add("sectionName",new ActionMessage("errors.sectionname.required"));
}like the above for all the fields.
But i got the error of
javax.servlet.ServletException: Cannot find bean under name sectionListFor a very long time i tried with this.Even I cannot understand the reason for this.
Can anybody please help me to solve?

Hi,
This is Bcoz List or Arraylist does not persist when a request is finished.
when u add an error and come back to ur JSP, ur List in a request does not persist.
convert ur list to String array and then make setter/getter and then try it
