I continue to receive email that is corrupted since I visited google earth.

I continue to receive corrupted emails since I visited a google earth site which has infected my computer. These emails are blocked to my mail through Safari, but they appear on the Mail program. They take the form of a name, followed by Re:. The content of each message appears in the same squiggles that characterize the files that have been corrupted. In addition, when I attempt to view corrupted files, if I just let them be, they begin to translate the email server program into program files. When I try to stop them, they seem able to continue even when I've managed to erase the name of the file. It feels as if I am not in control of this computer. Would someone instruct me how to send to apple the url of this worm? Thank you. P.S. This was the first time I had followed advice to "Have fun: Nothing can happen to an Apple."

Have you ever heard of "irony"? It was not meant as a joke. It was a reference to my intense frustration with this process.

    Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!
    I hope this helps

  • Continue to Receive Email on Topic, w/ No Subscriptions

I continue to receive emails on a particular topic even though I show up with no subscriptions under "My Subscriptions". Anybody have any clue why or whom I could contact?
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

When you visit the topic itself, is there a "Cancel Subscription to this Topic" link at the top? If so, click on it. If not, then the Hosts will probably have to look into this to find the cause....

  • TS3988 I am receiving email that I should verify my password for iCloud but I can't see the link that I should start. HELP please!!!!!!

I am receiving email that I should verify my password for iCloud but I can't see the link that I should start. HELP please!!!!!!

You select the desired file (tick the square box on the left of the file name).
You click on the "share"/"send" icon (the envelope with the arrow that points up and to the right).
You are presented with the share/send dialog.
Here you select the "Send To" choice.
This is done by placing a tick in the box beside either "Public Link (create a public link for anyone to view)"
    OR
"Personalizdd Link (send email invitations to individuals)"
NOTE: The second choice is only available if you have a subscription to Adobe Send service.
So, for a free "Files" account in Adobe's cloud you'd tick "Public Link".
At the bottom left you'll observe the "Create Link" button.
    Click it.
You are presented with a new dialog that informs you that the Public Link has been generated and that link is provided in a field within the dialog.
You can copy the link to a text file for future copy-paste into a post to a forum or bulletin board or you can provide the link to otheres via an email.
    Be well...

  • I have received emails that appear to come from my email address.  How can I stop this/ or filter out this spam

I have received emails that appear to come from my email address.  How can I stop this/filter out this spam? Thanks

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them, and all future updates will require you to enter the password associated with this ID, whether you are currently using this ID for purchases or not.  If you are being prompted for your sister-in-law's Apple ID when updating it means that there must be one or more apps on your phone that was purchased using her Apple ID.  (When she synced with your computer it may have transferred this app to your library.  It was subsequently synced to your phone.)  The only way to stop the prompt for her ID is to delete these apps from your phone and your iTunes library and repurchase them using your Apple ID.

  • Why do I keep receiving emails that I have received weeks ago?

About once a week I will receive 2-3 emails that I had received weeks ago. They appear as new emails and are not sent again by the original sender. The duplicated emails seem quite random.

It is possible that your popstate.dat file may have incorrect info for that email or some other corruption has caused it to go awol.
    See info here:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Popstate.dat
You could delete the popstate.dat file and it will create a new one.
The downside is that anything on the server will be downloaded again, but only once.

  • I have 4 email accts, all but one work fine, the main one doesn't receive emails that are sent to me at all? Any idea what went wrong?

After the download, I began entering my email accounts manually. The first one "[email protected]" doesn't appear to be working properly. Emails that my friends have sent to me are not being received, test emails I have sent from my office are not geting to me either.
I have looked at the setups for the other 3 accounts and all are the same as the first, so why is this happening?? Hopefully, when you send me an answer, I will get it???
    Thanks,
    Ron

    You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

  • Why am I not receiving emails that I know have been sent to me??

I am not receiving emails into my Mail program. I know that I have been sent emails, in fact I have sent myself tests from both the email as well as my Yahoo account. Neither have come through. I have tried the "send/receive" button and it does not register that there are any emails. This is an ongoing problem and the emails will sometimes come through hours later (if not the next day). My coworkers are not experiencing this problem at all. This is seriously effecting my ability to respond to my clients - since I'm not getting their emails.
    PLEASE HELP!!!

    Thank you!
I actually saw your post below on another listing and have just finished trying it...unfortunately it did not work. I have also checked my Quota Limits and we have 858GB and my account states it is using only 2.9GB. So VERY odd and frustrating...Any other ideas are greatly appreciated!
Also, I am trying to go through and remove attachments without deleting the entire email. I found online how to do this, however, it does not seem to be working...any ideas?
Thirdly, do you know if having your Inbox organized into numerous folders/subfolders would increase the amount of space used and could be causing these issues?
Sorry to ask so many questions...I'm at a loss for what to do.
    Thank you!

  • IPad continually only receives emails WITH attachments

I have been experiencing something really bizarre lately with my iPad (3rd generation). Every now and then, the email seems to get 'stuck' and will ONLY fetch emails from the server that have attachments. It's really quite strange. If I check the email via the provider's (Comcast's) website, I can see many new emails that have arrived, but unless they have an attachment, they will not get pulled down from the server to my iPad.
    Things I have done:
    - Completely removed my email accounts and started over
    - Verified the settings on the other clients I use to ensure that it is not set to delete messages on the server.
I have read previous solutions that suggested the problem may be related to some kind of 'corrupt' email on the server which is preventing other messages from being retrieved. The recommended solution there was to take all of the emails that were currently on the server and 'quarantine' them by putting them in a different folder. That seemed to work for a while, but it keeps recurring.
I don't actually think this is a problem with the iPad, as it is reproducable on my Kindle Fire, my Android tablet, and my iPod Touch, so I feel pretty sure the problem lies on the mail server. But it is only ONE account. I have approximately 7 Comcast email accounts and it is only that one particular account that is experiencing the issue. So, yeah, you may be asking yourself why am I posting this here if I'm pretty sure it's not the iPad that's the problem... well, you guys are pretty smart, and perhaps someone has run into this kind of issue before with their provider. I know that calling Comcast is absolutely useless, and they'll just tell me to use their app, but that's really frustrating and inconvenient.
    Any suggestions?

Found what I was doing wrong.
First, finditems retrieves items and not just emails, so I had to switch the schema to ItemSchema.  This one has a HasAttachments property on it, that when set to true will cause the filter to find only items that have one or more attachments.
Setting it to false finds items that have no attachments.
    SearchFilter.IsEqualTo sfEmailsWithAttachments = new SearchFilter.IsEqualTo(ItemSchema.HasAttachments, true);
Also, found that finditem is designed to only return summary information that can then be used to decide whether to retrive the full item in a getitem command.  This was done by Microsoft to expidite searches on Exchange.  So, even though finditem
will find only emails with attachements, the returned items may not neccesarily have things like counts for the attachments.  You would have to retrieve the whole email with getItem using the retrieved item's ID to do manipulations on any lower level
    fields.

  • I continue to receive email alerts advising that my Apple ID was used to purchase an app. I changed my password but the alerts continue to come. Purchases are initiated from various different countries. My credit card has never been charged. How cano

ALerts advising purchases were mde using my Apple IDcontinue to come to my email. I changed my password  but theycontinue to come.Hoes can I stop his.

It is possible that these emails are phishing attempts. Do NOT click any link in the email. The phishers are very clever in that they seem to follow Apple Graphic Design Standards to near perfection. A sure way to tell is to examine any link the email contains for its target URL. If it does not point to the apple.com domain - NOT just contain the word "apple"in it 'somewhere - but point to the Apple web presence - it is most certainly phishing. If you determine that it is phishing, you can and should FORWARD the email to [email protected] > then DELETE with Prejudice. Also, see Phishing & Other Suspicious Emails > http://www.apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/ for more information ÇÇÇ

Have you looked at our [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-or-flash-plugin-crashes Flash plugin troubleshooting section]? There is a lot of useful information in there that should help you get to the bottom of your issue.

    Possibly...

  • Receiving email that payment failed for iCloud storage renewal, but in my settings-acct info it shows the proper card

I received an email "On 01/07/2015, we attempted to charge your account for your 200 GB iCloud storage plan, but there is still a problem with your payment information.  Your account will be downgraded to the free 5 GB storage plan if we cannot successfully renew your subscription.  Follow the instructions below to update your billing information:  1. Go to Settings and tap iCloud   2. Tap Account  3. Tap Payment Info and follow the prompts
The payment info is the credit card I use daily to purchase iTunes and other items, and is a valid card.  I'm unsure how to resolve this?  Any suggestions?  What other card could they be trying to use?  I confirmed with my credit card company that apple did not try to authorize a payment on this card, so they must have been using one of the previous cards I've had to cancel due to fraudulent activity (love the internet age).
    Thanks for any advice.

By the way - this is my 'family sharing' authorized card - I can't actually change payment info on this screen.   The note on the payment screen says "This payment method is being used with Family Sharing.  Applicable purchases initiated by family members will be billed to this account.  Change it in iTunes & App store settings".  Perhaps the actual card being used for my iCloud storage is different?  I'm not sure how to access/update that one...

  • I have received emails that state (No Sender)

I cannot open these emails & cannot delete them-how do I delete them?

Do they show up on the computer too?
    If YES:
It's not an Apple issue, it's your email provider's issue.
    If NO:
Delete the account from your mail settings and re-add it.

  • I received email that my Apple ID blocked

Email asks to update all details info , is it true and safe to update thru email

It is a phishing attempt to get your Apple ID and Password.
Do not reply and delete the email.
