I created a document in a template on pages.. and i saved it.. then I exported it to a Word document to send to someone to edit for me.. i have never done that before i usually use a PDF..and it changed it and won't go back! HELP!
Again: What version of Pages are you talking about?
Menu > Pages > About Pages
Again: Have you tried to open the Word .docx in Pages?
Pages doesn't save to Word it Exports to Word .doc so there should be a .pages copy on your Mac.

LindaThere are no viruses for the iPad. Close the mail app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Mail app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
i changed companies and had icloud with my old company - now i want to just use my personal id and can't change any icloud info to match my personal ipad id - i can't delete the icloud without the old company id and password which is not available to me - it probably doesn't even exist anymore!
Because I can't delete the icloud account, I keep getting view terms to accept and it wants to go to the old company account. I can't do anything to get rid of this - when I try to delete the icloud it wants me to delete find my ipad and asks for the old co. id and password - it's a vicious circle and i just want to get rid of it and start fresh with my regular personal email id and password!!! Help!You will need that old Apple ID and password, which does indeed still exist. Apple doesn't delete Apple IDs, though if this ID was in the control of your company they may have changed the password. If so, you will need your former company to log into the iCloud account using that ID and password and erase the iPad or remove it from iCloud:

Until that's done you cannot change those settings, and if you try to restore the iPad will have it locked with Activation Lock and thereafter be unusable.

Hi thee. As logical as I can be. I export a file back into my folder as a PSD. I then export that file to PS. Work on it, save and return it to LR. The file goes to the bottom of the folder from where I have to put it back in the original place, taking time and driving me slightly mad. Why does the file not go back to where it came from please? Umm, but this folder is an amalgam of two cameras and five cards, and I want them in capture order! Thanks for trying though Jim.

I had some problems with ITunes and had to uninstall but now when I reinstall iTunes after I click on download iTunes and save the File, I get this message"Thank you for downloading iTunes" and nothing else happens. I don't see any thing else. Now not sure what else I have to do.

Both of you need to have iMessage activated, and both have to have active Internet connection for iMessage. Are you both using the same Apple ID? Are you using the phone number or Apple ID for messages?

i just got an ihome system and had trouble with it connecting to my iPhone. I finally got it to work and now my itunes doesn't recognize my phone. My software is up to date on both my Mac and my iPhone and I have shut everything down and restarted. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?

My sister got an iPad and played with its passcode. She lost her passcode and had to reset the iPad using iCloud. Unfortunately, she accidentally pressed the iForgot button and leave the old and new password menu blank and quit it. She didn't really understand about iForgot so she thought it's fine. Can anybody help?

I am using CS6 InDesign on a PC using a Windows 7 operating system.
Due to eyesight issues, I need to have the menu bars of programs in easy-to-read font and picture size. Specifically, the menu bar across the top (File, Edit, View, etc.), and the menu bar on the left side with the graphic depiction of options.
In earlier versions of Windows (e.g. XP), whenever I changed the screen resolution on my computer to a lesser resolution in order to show the link icons on my desktop in a larger, more readable size, all the software programs, including yours, appeared on my screen with the menu bars in the larger font size that I needed.
However, in Windows 7, this is not the case. Even though I have selected the lowest resolution, making the icons on my desktop extremely large, I cannot read the options across the top menu bar of your program, nor the pull-down menu items that they contain. I cannot see the graphic depictions of options on the left side of the screen. They are all too small. How can I make your program increase the size?NO way.

Why when I go to garageband and make a ring tone then try to sync it, It says all existing songs, movies and tv shows will be removed?
Oh ok. As far as music, no i have not synced music because it would load so much. I don't have movies or tv. I have never loaded ringtones before. So i am guessing they are connected to music. My apps do sync. So the best thing is to not sync and just drop them on my devices icon???
oh, if I check sync music the button for entire music library is selected how do I get Selected playlist, artists, ect. selected. Right now everthing is grayed out. -

File created with Document Content Type will not be saved back to Sharepoint library
Recently some of our users, after upgrading to Windows 8.1 with Office 2013, intermittantly are not able to save files created using document content types template back to sharepoint library. Instead the location is set
to their local storage. The same templates used by Windows 7 users with Office 2010 are working fine. Setting the SP sites as Trusted location in IE and Clearing IE Cache did not help. Adding the SP site in Word Trusted Location did

According to your post, my understanding is that you could not save office file back to the SharePoint Document library.
It may have to something with your Word Settings. When you click new and it opens in MS Word, word treats it as unsafe because perhaps it is not saved. To make it work:
Go to Word (2013) -> File Menu -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings
-> Protected View Tab -> Uncheck "Enable Protected View for files located in potentially unsafe locations" (2nd option)

If the issue persist, you can also check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.

No. The contacts are "owned" by the Exchange server.
The Exchange server is owned by the company.
Everything on the Exchange server is owned by the company.
If you quit or were terminated, and your access to the system has been revoked, then there is nothing you and do at this point. Once you deleted the account from your phone, all of the associated data was deleted.
NEVER store personal information on company systems. -

I moved my itunes librabry etc from my pc onto my ipod (thought i would be losing the pc, however was allowed to keep it...long story!).
I now can't sync my itunes and ipod as i'd moved it planning to copy it all to a new pc.
Does anyone know how I re sync my ipod back to the origianl pc it was moved from?

: )For iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.

For all other non purchased content (your own CDs etc), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it is a little more involved than other methods.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer. -
