Rob I am sorry I didn't mean to cause any problems, it is just that I was having so many difficulties with my purchase and I couldn't get any help. I tried to chat with someone and your system told me that I didn't have that option or something like that. I couldn't find contact telephone numbers either. I finally got to chat with someone that helped me, but that was at the very end. Anyways, I figured things out. I apologize for being so rude and referring that I hate Adobe. I actually don't, I just didn't like it that I couldn't contact anyone for help.

That file might have moved to a different location on the server. I think you'll need to check with RefWorks support or your local IT department on why the install page links do not work.

The D7100 requires camera raw 7.4 which is not compatible with Photoshop Elements 10.
Your two main options are
1) Buy a newer version of Photoshop Elements
2) Use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the NEF files to DNG files which can then be used by Photoshop Elements 10.

Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.
If you do not like the new UI, you can make Firefox 4 look and behave more like Firefox 3.6, for details see http://www.computertechtips.net/64/make-firefox-4-look-like-ff-3-6
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Often when people think they've deleted an application, what's really happened is that they deleted its icon from the Dock. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. If the application is in that folder, drag it to the Dock (not to the Desktop or anywhere else.) The other Dock icons will move out of the way to make a place for it.

Adobe Export can't perform the export I need. How do I get my money refunded?

I bought Adobe Export today for a PDF document I need to convert to Excel. It failed to export. I even got an email from Adobe saying "AdobeExport PDFcould not successfully export your PDF file". If I can't get this PDF converted to Excel then the program is useless to me. How do I get my money refuned?

Trying to subtract a complex path from another, can't get the result I need

I'd really appreciate some help on this. I'm not familiar with illustrator and am stuck trying to accomplish what I hope is an easy task. I've uploaded my .ai here just in case anyone can help.
I have two layers, one is a collection of lines/paths which make up a line drawing of a tree, then the layer above that is a bunch of paths using a 'distressed' brush. I've read several tutorials on using the pathfinder tool to subtract one from the other but every time I'm left with way more of the tree deleted than I want. I tried a simple test case (subtracting a single distressed path from a rectangle shape) and it worked as expected. I don't know why this one isn't working other than maybe it's just too complex.
On the left (tempoary red background) is what my layers look like, on the right is the effect I'm trying to achieve (the white parts removed from the black parts). I need this to end up being a vector so it can get cut out of a vinyl decal.

That worked perfectly, thank you. I selected everything on the tree layer, made compound path, then did the same on the texture layer. Then the subtract worked great.
Just so I understand what's going on here - make compound path means take all the selected stuff and make it into one single shape/path, vs. having a bunch of separate paths on the same layer?

Can anyone get the help system to work?

I am trialling PSE 8 using a Windows 7 64bit machine.
Whenever I select help - either from the main menu or anywhere else in the product it just crashes.
As far as I can see this software does not work and I wondered if anyone had an luck with it. The Adobe support system doesnt seem to want to take questions from trial customers as PSE8 is not listed when trying to contact support - I guess that means they know it doesnt work and dont want to have lots of questions.
Very frustrated with this product at the moment

My suggestion will be to revert back changes done for doc id 1418876.1. We have also experienced the same issue with this change.
Perform the steps as per below doc based on if you have issue with Global Scheduled Services or Project Publications

The steps in above document has addressed our issue in achieving near real time publication of the project. Rest depend on the values you specify in Application settings. Running publication services too frequently does have impact on server load.

I can not get the drivers I need for Windows.

I have been doing this for about 8 hours now. I have tried, tried, and tried many, many, many, many methods and I am just frustrated. I can not obtain the drivers through bootcamp assistant. I am running OS X Snow Leopard. My Macbook pro is mid-2009 and is a 17 inch laptop. I'm trying to get drivers for Windows 7 Home Premium. Can anyone help me?

Snow Leopard = use your OS X DVD.
Lion = must use Boot Camp Assistant

How to get the help I need with T420

I had a Lenovo for five years which worked wonderfully, so I got another one last summer(July 2012). It quit working in June 2013 right before I was going on vacation. I had my local tech person look at it and he couldn't do anything so I called service when I returned and was informed that it was one week over warranty. The person I talked with said she could do nothing to help me, nor could her superior and told me she would have to "terminate the call". I called back and talked with a different rep who said they would send out a hard drive, which they did (it was there the next morning!).
However, this didn't fix the problem and after 4 weeks I had to send it to the "depot". The problem is that my first fix was under one claim number and this is under another. So now they are saying I am about 6 weeks out of warranty, when actually the whole problem began (the computer quit) when I was under warranty, and when I did call the first time, one rep had the kindness to realize that one week really doesn't count.
How do I get around this issue of two different claims when it's really one problem (the motherboard) that was never resolved in the first place? I shouldn't be charged $475 for a motherboard that quit in less than a year, nor should I be told that this is a whole new issue just because a new hard drive didn't solve it.
I hope there is a way to get someone to understand this from my perspective. I would like to be able to stick with Lenovo and recommend it to others.
