I don't received the email survey reports

I created a survey using captivate and in the Reporting
Window I selected the email option and entered my email.
In Computer #1, I ran a test, and it prompt me if I wanted to
send the email, but even when I select "yes", I still don't
received any email.
In Computer #2, it prompts me and it does send the email.
Here are my questions:
What could be possible wrong with the setting on Computer #1
that prevent the program to send the results in the email?
How can I set my computer to NOT prompt me if is OK to send
the email?
Can I set up captivate in a way that the user does not need
to click on the "send email" button? I am concern that people might
not click on the button to send me the survey results.

Unfortunately sending quiz results via e-mail is fraught with
difficulty. The sad fact is that this has to rely on too many
dependencies:
1. Flash Player
2. Email Client
3. Web Browser
Personally, if this is going to be distributed to a large
number of users, you would be better investing in an
LMS - such as WBT Manager or
to consider
Breeze

    You've checked the spam folder on your email account as well as the inbox, and have you got a rescue email address on your account that it might be being sent to ? If it's not in spam either then you could try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset your password for you : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

  • What if i don't receive the email about resetting the security question

    I have verified that the email i use was the correct one. So when i request a change in security questions, i am supposed to receive the email from Apple, which is my own Apple ID account.
    I had been requesting the security question reset email for numerous times and i had receive none.
    Is there something wrong here? Am I the only one meeting such situation.

    These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

    After trying with costumer support finally I recieved the verification email, I will write down the steps I followed:
    1. I have been invited to join to a developer program for my company.
    2. I created an apple id account.
    3. When I was invited, I tried to sign in with my new apple id.
    4. Whenever I tried to sign in, Apple asked me to verify my email.
    5. After I pressed serveral times the "Send Verification Email", nothing happened.
    6. I opened iTunes from my iMac and I signed in with my new apple id.
    7. They asked me to fill some data (including the payment information).
    8. After filling the payment information, I returned to the developer program and tried to sign in again.
    9. Apple asked one more time for the email verification, I hit again the "Send Email Verification" button.
    10. This time, the email verification button worked and a new screen saying that the verification email was sent appeared and then, I could sign in into my account.
    That's all, you just to add your personal data in iTunes and then try to verify your email again. Hope this helps someone.

    In your email settings on the phone check to make sure it is set to receive emails on cellular network.  It's a feature you can turn off so your phone isn't constantly updating emails on the cell network, but if you are usually in a place with wifi and aren't concerned about going over your data allowance, you can turn it back on. 

  • TB 31.1.2 running in Mac 10.6.8 reports that it is downloading "x" number of unread emails, but when done none of the email(s) are to be found anywhere.

    TB 31.1.2 automatically checks for new mail after entering TB password. It then reports, for example, that it is downloading "3 new unread messages" (or whatever number of messages). When complete, the messages are nowhere to be found either in the TB file system or on the 10-6-8 Mac computer. The email provider reports that the problem has nothing to do with their mail system. Of course, there is no way to identify the sender(s) unless a sender reports that they sent an email. Most emails are downloaded by TB as normal, but since May of 2014 more than 60 mails have "disappeared". Thanks for your help.

    Don't know any 'automatic' way - but, i have "Fetch Headers only" set on each of my 'secondary accounts'.
    With varying internet service, manual "Get Messages" is probably the "Best Practice" because you will know how good your service is before you even try.
    maybe set "Check for new messages every 'n' minutes" to different times
    (3 minutes, 6 minutes, etc.) on each 'secondary' account.

        4. Visit http://my-site.com/scripts/form_check.php in a web browser and make sure you see all green checkmarks. If some items do not display green checkmarks that means that the hosting server is not configured correctly to allow the Form widgets to send email messages to the address you've specified.
                    Contact your web-hosting provider about the server configuration problem. Describe the items that are not marked as green in the form check page, so that they can help you set up the servers to use the correct settings.

    Also, have you checked the spam folder?

  • Not receiving the email for BBM to continue Backup (Remotely)

    I've been trying to register my email to my BBM so that I can remotely backup the phone.... Now idk what it is..... But for every time I try to do it... It tells me:
    " Registering: The verification email was sent successfully. Once your device receives the email, it will be processed automatically and registration will continue. If this is taking longer than expected, check you Junk mail folder for the verification email. If it is there, mark is as "Not Junk", and send the verification email again by using the menu. "
    when I check my junk email it is not there... And I need it to be registered cuz my PC isn't working fine.... Was wondering if anyone is capable of assisting me..... 

    You only have to do it once. I don't know why it would say not registered now, if it was earlier.

  • I don't receive some emails

    I'm using a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, and Mail 5.3.   I don't receive some emails. 
    One day last week my wife sent me two emails from work.  I received one, but the other one never showed up.  She sent it to me again the next day, and again it didn’t arrive. 
    I thought that perhaps there was something in her second email that was blocked for some reason by some kind of filter at her work, but this morning I happened to open Mail on my lightly-used iMac 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5 (OS X 10.4 and Mail 2.1.3), and saw that both of her emails had arrived on the day she sent them.
    Back on my Macbook I looked through junk and trash folders and searched by my wife’s name and by her work email address - No sign of either email.  Anyone have any idea as to what’s happening?    Thanks,  Gene

    I’m happy to say that I’ve found my problem.  I was a bit daunted by the thought of rebuilding my pack-rat-like mailbox, so I put it off to see if any other emails disappeared. 
    Today, checking mail on my infrequently used iMac, I saw an email had arrived a week ago from my daughter (along with a reply from my wife who was also an addressee) that never showed up on my MacBook Pro. 
    Going through my MacBook’s mail preferences again, I took the time to review again my Rules and saw that I’d listed the word debt along with bankruptcy, manhood, and a few other words with the instruction that any message containing that word should be automatically deleted.  Both of the emails that “never showed up” on my Macbook included the word debt, and had been deleted without a trace by my own rule.  I’ve changed the rule now, at least for debt.
    Thanks to all who read my problem and gave it some thought.  The troubleshooting sites that Sheila M. steered me to and, believe it or not, the fact that out of 100 people who’d looked to see if they could help, there were no other ideas --these things helped me conclude that the problem might well of my own making and not some flaw that other folks run into. 
    I appreciate having this community to turn to.

    If you suspect unauthorized access to your apple ID I would normally recommend resetting your password, but you have already done this.
