That one can sometimes hit people if they've used the PC Mover utility to transfer a 32-bit iTunes program onto a 64-bit system. Similar issues can arise if a 32-bit Bonjour or 32-bit AMDS get transfered across to a 64-bit system by PC Mover, so it might pay to keep a weather eye out for that (if you've used PC Mover).

Yes, I believe I did with no success playing some of my "old albums." The remaing albums worked just fine.
I think I found a workaround by signing in to the old website using "forgot" password and changed it to a new one. Then I signed in using my Apple ID and Passwird. This seems to have worked.

Note that LR3 was designed for OSX 10.5 or 10.6. It will run on 10.9 (Mavericks) but there may be some appearance differences to the sliders. But why not give the download a try. Otherwise you may be best to upgrade to LR5 or wait for LR6.

In Venezuela, a person is limited only to use a maximum of 400 USD (that's four hundred US dollars) per year. I already used them all, but I want to purchase another stuff. I have a US Visa Debit Card, but my iPad says that the venezuelan store does not support my card.
So, I can't use my Venezuelan card because I already spent the complete 400 dollars, yet it won't let me use a US card.

But, if I have shutdown the Mac the Acer does not recognisethe start up - at least it shows nothing on screen. I posted the same question a day ago with no response. I'm using an Acer x193w. You actually don't have to switch monitors to get it to work. Just make sure you turn off the monitor after shutting down the Mac mini (actually push the power button on the monitor, not just let it go to sleep). If you turn on the monitor (push the power button on the monitor), then power up the Mac mini, the monitor is recognized. The issue didnt exist with Snow Leopard for me. It only started after I started using Lion. Hope this issue gets fixed In a future OS update.

Bookmarks that have both a keyword assigned to them and are set to open in the sidebar will not open in the sidebar when keyword is entered in the location bar. Why?

When creating a bookmark, you have the option to
1. add a KEYWORD, and
2.the option to check the box that says "load this bookmark in the sidebar."
If a bookmark has BOTH a keyword assigned to it AS WELL AS a checked box to "load this bookmark in the sidebar", then
1. it WILL NOT open in the sidebar when the keyword is entered in the locationbar.
2.It WILL open in the sidebar if you click on the bookmark directly from the bookmark menu, toolbar, or the like.

It's kind of ridiculous that such a bug still exists.
more and more tech sites are advocating the time saving qualities of being able to load mobile and iphone sites in the sidebar - like gmail, google calendar, twitter, facebook chat, igoogle gadgets, widgets, meebo, and almost every other site either via it's mobile version or by converting an igoogle gadget or just using and iframe. it makes me nuts that I have to shove all my bookmarks that are sidebar-loading to be within view on the bookmark toolbar. help!

After resetting the PRAM it booted on the first attempt and I thought it was solved. But the next day it was back to starting and stopping until the Monitor came on. Does anyone have a suggestion? It could be a bad PRAM battery corrupting your PRAM. Typically when I have monitor issues on startup it is a bad PRAM battery.

If you have a digital multimeter you can check the condition of your present battery. It should read at least 3.2V if it is the 3.6V half-AA battery type. A new battery provides 3.67 Volts DC. A bad battery provides under 3.2 Volts DC. Ideally this should be measured while the battery is under load; added recommendation from Hans777:

I too had this problem and have solved it. After upgrading to iTunes 10.4.1 (Running OS X 10.6.8) I could no longer select library files. Previously, I would launch iTunes with the option key down to trigger the "Choose Library" dialog box. I have three libraries, each of them stored in separate iTunes folder within my user:music folder. I would then double-click on a given folder to open it and then double-click on the library file. After the 10.4.1 upgrade the library files were grayed out (not selectable). The problem was resolved by changing what and how I selected. When the three iTunes folders were displayed I clicked once on a folder to select it (instead of double-clicking to open it) and then clicked the "open" button in the dialog box. This resulted was iTunes launched with the library file contained in that folder.
