I have a application , its connected to sql server 2012 express
user name : sa
and i have a password
in my computer and our company's computer its ok
now
i setup sql server 2012 express in a customer's server
i setup my windows application in server ... its works good (local)
when i install my app in another network's computer i see my sql server & i selected my server and create a provider & i tested my connection string its ok
i have a succesfull connectionstring
but when i read records & ... i have a login failed server\ user
why ?
attention in customers' server have a sql server 2008 r2 for web
my database can't restore in 2008 r2
and any setting its same with my setting

There can be too many problems that prevent connecting to the database. I suggest you get back with more information when you will have it in order to save us from guessing game :-)

I would like you to take answers in lighter way.As far as i can see there was no insult there Pituach just ( with simley) tried to tell you that such a error could be because of many reasons and please can you provide more details.
SQL server forum includes people from all around world and only thing matters here is knowledge.

Error when opening connection in SQL Developer 3.1

I just downloaded SQL Dev 3.1 and had it copy my preferences from 3.0.0.4. Now when I try to open a connection I get the error message in the logging page:
SEVERE 29 9453 oracle.dbtools.raptor.utils.Connections For input string: ""
This prevents me from executing any sql. When I try to see table data I get another error: SEVERE 32 47 oracle.dbtools.raptor.oviewer.table.GridDataEditor java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(NumberFormatException.java:48)
My 3.0 version works just fine. Any ideas?

I finally got this to work. I had to remove all versions of SQL developer and then had to directory C:\Documents and Settings\(user_id)\Application Data\SQL Developer and remove the preferences for the old versions as well. Once I did this and downloaded 3.1 zip and extracted it now works.

Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

Malfunction error when I connect

Recently received an iPod from a friend. Everytime I try to connect the iPod [it's an 8g nano] I get the error message
'One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned , and Windows does not recognize it.'
Not sure what to do. Any suggestiong? Also, no apple help topics have worked for me.

Let's try forcing your iPod into disk mode. To do that, follow the steps mentioned here:
Putting iPod into disk mode
With the iPod in disk mode, connect it to your computer.
If you still get a "USB device has malfunctioned" error when you connect your iPod, then let's try something else.
Make sure that your computer's USB drivers are up-to-date. And, in some cases, you may need to reinstall those drivers.
See this article for instructions on that:

If that didn't work, then you can try reformatting your iPod to FAT32 in Windows, and see if that affects anything:
1 - Connect your iPod to your computer.
2 - When iTunes has finished syncing with your iPod, open "My Computer".
3 - Right-click on your iPod, and click on "Format". (If your iPod is not showing in My Computer, make sure that disk use isn’t enabled in iTunes).
4 - Here, verify that your formatting settings are "Default", with the format type set for FAT32. Also, make sure that "Quick Scan" is not selected.
5 - Then, click on "OK" to begin the formatting process.
6 - When this is complete (it might take a while), make sure to restore your iPod in iTunes again, so as to properly reload the firmware back onto it again.

That usually means that you previously synced your iPhone to a different computer. An iPhone can only sync to one computer. If you try to sync to a different one the iTunes content on the phone will be replaced by the contents of the new computer.

I have an error when creating new folders, it renames the folder below it to the same name (super - next folder - parent's next sibling...)

if I try to add a new folder to a sub folder, the program does add the new bookmark folder, but it also renames the next folder in line in the parent of the original "subfolder" to the exact same name...
maybe I just need to reload the mozilla, maybe I was hacked and that is what they changed...

I have one client and one server. In both hosts I created an OS-user named User1.
The user have been given various role under the prefix SQLServer2005.
The default instance of SQL Server and instance (background-process) of
Analysis Service are also run under User1.
I connected via Management Studio to Analysis Service directly in the
server. I set the permission to access Analysis Service to Everyone.
This means everyone should be able to use Analysis Service. I have set
ODBC data source to the server. Testing was successful.
I created a project to create a cube. The tables are fairly small (total 300 MB, biggest one 290).
On project setting (created at client) I set the server host as
deployment target. I managed to deploy project when all I have are Data
Source and Data Source Views.
But on deployment I always failed. The errors remain the same, begins with
OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.; 08001.
I have tried 4 combinations of Impersonation :
(A) Use a specific username and password
* in which I supply User1 and the password of User1
(B) Use the service account
(C) Use the credentials of the current user
(D) Default
Why is this? The server does certainly exist. I think the error message is wrong.
I have seen 3 posting that seems related. One of them say the solution is giving the right impersonation, but gave no detail. About the privilege, User1 are granted the role of
SQLServer2005MSOLAP. What is the solution?

I just had this problem and solved it by creating an alias in SQL Server Configuration Manager, as below:
Scenario: My SQL server is accessible from the internet under my.domain.com, and from itself at ServerName. But the local network can't see itself through the router at my.domain.com, so the deployed project is unable to process the cube, since that would
require Analysis Services to be able to see the SQL Server at my.domain.com, which it can't do.
So I changed the server in my project from my.domain.com to ServerName, and I created a local alias to ServerName in SQL Server Configuration Manager, under SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration, Aliases. In my case, I pointed it to localhost port 1333, and
used SSH -L 1333:my.domain.com:1433, but I could have pointed the alias directly to the server, just as well. (Verifying... yes, that worked too, so you can forget SSH if you have no interest in it.)
