I have been prompted to update my payment info on iCloud but can't see where to do it!
When I go into settings > account info … I follow the payment info prompt but am led to a screen that gives info on account verification but nowhere to actually do that. I cant see where I am supposed to a) update payment info or b) do the verification process. I am trying to do all this on an iphone 5C
..any help would be much appreciated - many thanks in advance.
Just found the answer to my question and updated my payment info from this thread http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1918 - question answered ... thanks to the previous poster for the info.

I have been trying to update my cc info but for some reason it has kept saying the cc info did not match with the bank info so the transaction failed every time I made an attempt to download something even it was free. Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. I dont think it is fair to have to pay that as well. In addition, because I have an east coast phone number but live on the west coast, I cannot have tech support after 8pm. Verizon has cut this off. Im very dissatisfied and I have been a customer of Verizon for 13 years. Im hoping for a response this time.

You should be able to update your payment info as described on the page that you posted from e.g. by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes. If that isn't working, then are you getting any error messages, and what are you trying to change your payment method to e.g. debit or credit card ?
If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is and if it's being declined then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management -
I guess I have more then one Apple ID accounts and I own a little money on both and I am willing to pay and when I try to update and put my new payment method in my iPhone it tells me I need to contact iTunes support, the apple id I'm useing now is xxxxxxx and I know that I had one with xxxxxxx but apple won't let me use that one anymore it just say account nolonger promitted. Please help

I don't know what's going on with my ipod it keeps saying can't connect to store when I try to download updates but I can still buy apps from the store???
Make sure your system time & date is set properly. If it is not, then move it backwards 2 months, then try to connect to the store. Good chance it will work then.
Change it back after again. -
Getting a verification error when trying to get into the apps,
I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

I have been asked to update my billing information on my account, when I update the account the info that comes back is that the card is denied? i have enterd it three times, and I know that the card is good and not expired. can anyone give me any advice?
How were you asked to update this information? Was it in an email? - if so you need to check whether it's genuine by looking at the sending address and the long header, and the URL of any link in it. If you are not absolutely sure it's from Apple you need to stop the card.
If you were actually on the iTunes Store having gone there directly then the request would be genuine, so no worries there, but you will need to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services', then ' 'iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store', then 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption'. -

What country is your account with Apple located? The billing address for the bank card must be identical to the way the bank shares that info with Apple or the transaction cannot be completed. The 3 digit security code on the back of the card must also be correct and the postal code.

I Have been tryin to update and download free apps but i keep getting to verify my account because my payment info needs to be updated yet it is the same but once i but my info in it tells me it is declined is it because i only have $2.91 in my account or is it something else?
It could be. The app store puts a small hold on the funds when you try to download apps, even free ones. I thought it was only a dollar though, so having 2.91 should be ok. And I'm guessing since you have a set amount it's a gift card? Because if you have a credit card on file it could be as simple as the expiration date being out of date. If it's a debit card then that could be the reason because iTunes doesn't accept debit cards anymore, only credit cards.
Are you getting this message as you try to download? Because if it's a separate e-mail it could be a phishing attempt.

After updating to Mavericks, I have been unable to update iphoto, and when I attempt to, it says that These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. But no other appleID has ever been used on my computer, how could this be resolved?
Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.
