I have Created new posting period but it assigns -1 in OFPR table
I have created new posting period eg 2010 .with user manager but still there is value of -1 in usersign field of ofpr table
i am getting confuse will you help me to rectify?

I have check our database and found out that all periods with usersign as -1 if they are not the periods belong to the first year. It might be designed that way.

through Administration->System InitialisationGeneral Settings->Posting Periods->New Period?
if yes, could you please have a look on the OACP table by trying the
select * from oacp
and find out if there is any record? -

Hello,
One of our client is creating new posting perio 2012 but encountering error. Try to find solutions from the forum but nothing seems to fix the error.
Transactions created before the % were found in the system [message 636-7]
They are using SAP 8.81 PL 4

Can you check and confirm whether any transaction is added in the system with the posting period which you are trying to define :
select * from OJDT where refdate >= '2012.01.01' and refdate <= '2012.12.31'

Voucher Number in new posting period
hello,
I have created new posting period and series for financial year 2011-12.
In previous year I have created 600 voucher. My issue is that when I am creating new
voucher, voucher number is showing 601. I want that for new series voucher number should be
start from 1. but it seems like numbering series doesn't affect the voucher number.
Because there are no series creation for journal voucher. In this case how can I solve my problem.
Please help me on this.

You created Posting Period but have you created Period Indicator and Assigned this Indicator to this created Posting period?
If you have done this then when you define new no. series from one just assign the same indicatorto this New No. Series also and lock old series.....

Hi All,
I get the following message when adding a new posting period : "This entry already exists in the following tables Posting Period(OFPR) (ODBC 2035) [Message 131-183]".
We have checked for duplications and inconsistencies in both OFPR and AFPR, but don't see any.
We have also updated the AFPR table in a test company with OFPR, but this also did not work...
Any suggestions?

We also had this issue once, it was in version 2004 and it happened when the client created a posting period but then deleted it. The period code was not seen on table OFPR but it was in ADM1 so the error message was caused by this.
In our case we ran a report on ADM1 to see what period codes were used (the deleted codes were all there...) and we could create a new period using a code which was not used before so which was not in ADM1.

I have a sync key, and have a new computer terminal, but when I enter the account details I created, it syncs nothing with my new computer. How do I fix this? There is nothing showing up when I sync with the sync key from my old terminal.

You are probably trying to use old Sync with Firefox newer than version 29,
and they did make old Sync unusable on fresh installations of newer Firefox.
You can uninstall that newer Firefox, then install Firefox 29 from here:

Apply your sync key code, then update that installation to current Firefox,

how can I delete my previous iCloud email address. It is no longer in use. I have created new Apple id. And it is verified but I cannot merge it with iCloud Since it is asking me to type password.
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I created new apple id but can't sign in to itunes. It says that your id is not yet loged in so you have to review. In revies it shows payment method in which I provide full info of my visa card but it shows that the pin is incorrect although the pin is correct. If I try another card no then it shows that your payment method is declined. What should I do?????Is it asking for a PIN (for a debit card) or the three-digit number on the back of the card (for a credit card)?

Google's search results page has a font that is miniscule compared to other pages.
I have tried adjusting the font in the tools>options>content>advanced with no change.
I've also tried resetting the view>zoom feature to no avail.
Blogger's "create new post" pane had an even smaller font, if that's possible.
So far the tiny font phenomenon seems to only affect Google pages, though *'''''not'''''* my iGoogle page.
Any help would appreciated :)

How can I reset my security questions? Everytime I try again like thousand time all I get nothing. It won't appear my mail. I tried create new Apple ID but I don't have card to buy. I only have iTunes card. I was think about drown my phone in toilet
Contact Apple support at 800MYAPPLE and ask them to assist you with resetting your security quesitons.
They will ask you to verify your identity. Not usually a big issue. Call them ask for assistance.
They can walk you through getting the security question issues resolved.

In between my new iPhone and a old one, I used a replacement iPhone. On the replacement phone there were two backups created. I have a new iPhone now, but only the 2 old backups from my replancement phone. How do I get a older backup on my new phone?
Not sure where you backup to.
ITunes keeps the latest backup only.
Icloud keeps the 3 last backup. -

Due Date in new posting period
Hi All,
Posting date range in new financial period (new posting period) is one in which my JEs should posted and they will be having impact in financial system. Which is logical.
What is the need of Due Date? Is it useful in any practical situation?

You do not have to specifically define a range? When you create a posting period SAP automatically create the range from first day of Fiscal year to last day of Fiscal year.
Let me explain with an example.
Let us consider 01/01/2007 to 31/12/2007 as the fiscal year
For some of the document that you create during the last few months, you may require to enter a Due date later than the Fiscal year (going into next fiscal year)
example: Invoice created on 15/12/2007 with Net 30 terms will need a Due date of 14/01/2008 but since you Due date range ends on 12/31/2007 you will not be able to Add this document.
To overcome this you will have to click on the yellow arrow next to the Period and change the <b>Due Date to</b> to accomodate the 14/01/2008 due date.

Client Creates incorrect posting period
Good Day,
I have a client that wanted to create a new period for January 2012.
He however did it incorrectly, and set the sub-periods as year, and thus the posting dates, due dates and document dates have all been set from the 1 jan to the 31 dec 2012.
he has posted two purchase orders to this posting period and thus the period cannot be removed and the correct one added.
Any Suggestions?

You can Locked This posting period and can make new posting period with Monthly sub-period .
