I cannot print a selected "Selection" from an Internet page. I don't always want to print "All" of a page or pages.

I'm just guessing at this point, but I suspect that you have installed a midi driver on your computer for some external device, and, since GarageBand's midi capabilities are limited in some ways, chances are your audio/midi driver is asking GarageBand to do something more than it's made to do, causing core audio's midi function to crash.
If that's the case, you might want to try adjusting your midi device's driver settings, or uninstalling your midi device's driver, and then see if GarageBand starts up normally without it.

- Try on another computer/network

Is your scratch drive over 1 Terabyte? Photoshop 7 was never programmed for those sizes and will return that type of error if you recently changed drives,
Solution is to partition that drive to less than one 1 TB or find a smaller drive.
And update to 7.0.1 Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 update

On my iphone, icloud is set to an apple id that i no longer use and i keep getting asked to enter a password. Cannot remember the password. When i try to re-set the password, it sends a email to a address no longer used. Will not accept any dob i enter

I have icloud on my phone with an apple id that I no longer use. I keep getting asked to enter the password for this ID. However I can't remember the password.
When I try to re-set the password, a e-mail will be send to an address I no longer use and can't access.
I then try to answer the security questions, but the date of births I enter are not accepted
Any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I am using Good For Enterprise on my Iphone 4s to connect with my Office PC Outlook email system. I am having trouble synching my Itunes music from my Mac at home with my IPhone 4s. I am considering using ICloud to share the music as I also have an IPad2. When I go to turn on the ICloud application, I get a message that alerts me to the fact I will no longer be able to synch with my computer. Does that mean with my Office PC and my Outlook email, or my Mac and my home email and other applications? I seem to never tire of saying this. It was for Apple when they first announced 10.7 to disclose this. Yes, it was widely reported -- or rather, rumored -- but not by Apple. And many people who have gotten caught by this assumed that Apple itself would have told them beforehand about the loss of this very important feature which they had come to rely on. As far as I know, not even in fine print, does this appear anywhere on the Lion announcement or any of its links.
I am not saying Apple had to continue Rosetta in Lion, or forever, just that if it was going to be dropped, it should have been made known.
As relative "insiders" we should not forget that many people don't have the time, habit or interest to do this kind of research. I think it is a breach of trust that Apple has never directly made this announcement or given people the opportunity to decide beforehand if giving up their PPC apps for a new OS is a worthwhile tradeoff.

I have a Note 3 and a Vodafone SIM that are not playing well together.
The history is:
I got my Note 3 over 2 years ago. We visited Italy 2 years ago and I bought a Vodafone sim at a Vodafone outlet. Everything worked perfectly during that trip and a subsequent trip to France.
Last October, I had to replace the Note 3 because the camera was failing. I had insurance, so the insurance company sent me a refurbished Note 3. When I tried to use the SIM last December, the Note 3 had problems. When I put the SIM in and started the Note 3, the phone recognized the sim (but gave me an error that, according to Verizon, is spurious). I could make phone calls but I could not access the data network. In order to access the data network, you have to go into Settings. More Settings, Mobile Networks and set the Access Point Name.
With the replacement Note 3, I cannot access Settings. As soon as I try to access Settings (with the Vodafone SIM installed), the Settings menu appears and then immediately the home screen comes up. After working with Verizon for over an hour, I was able to get into Settings and set the access point name by booting into Safe mode. But as soon as I rebooted into 'normal' mode, Settings failed and I could not access its menu (to turn on wifi, for example). There are a couple of other apps that did the same thing - but I cannot remember which ones.
I have talked to Vodafone - they have no clue. I talked to a Samsung rep I ran into at Best Buy, he thought the Vodafone SIM might be corrupted. And now a Verizon tech I talked to last week thinks it is a firmware problem on the phone and I should do a Factory Data Reset.
Have you ever heard of this problem? What do you think might be causing it?

On2CO, I'm glad you have reached out to us today. Thank you so much for the very detail description on what is going on with the device. Sounds like there might be an issue with an application that might be causing these issues. The reason I say that is, when the phone is in Safe Mode you are able to access the Settings screens with no issues. While in Safe Mode that does block all 3rd party applications from running on the phone. I would suggest on trying to back up the device and perform a factory reset: http://spr.ly/6-182Vuo (you would want to make sure to uncheck Automatic Restore in step 3). Once the reset is complete try to see if you can get into Settings. Then, I would recommend on adding 3rd party applications back on to the device one by one to see if we can find what app might be causing this issue. in the "Print" dialogue select "Contact Sheet", then press the "Customize" button.
In the Customize view you can rearrange your images by dragging them around.
Just a work-around, but I hope this helps.

I use google as my homepage. Very often( every day at some point) when I search a subject and click on the address, a google search page come up with list of choices. When I click on address it simply returns to this page and will not let me access any websites either by clicking on them, opening in new window or tab, nor allowing me to access anything from the address line. When this occurs, it just keeps looping into this page. I clear cache, shut down, and try everything possible. Occurs very randomly and never when I first turn on the computer. ???????

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Try doing a "clean install" of Firefox:
# Force quit Firefox
# Drag Firefox (in Applications) to Trash, and empty trash
# Download Firefox again from http://www.mozilla.com and re-install.

Step 2 "Remove Cookies" and Step 3 "Start Firefox in Safe Mode" - Sorry could not complete. I am not technical - approaching my 80th year - these steps I could not understand.
Is there no way I could talk with someone who could guide me thru these steps?
I like the "Today" tab and the information I received from it. Now it will not load. Have no clue what caused this problem nor how to get the loaning back.
