I have os x v 10.6.8 why do I have to pay for os x 10.7.2?

I can't get iCloud on my MacBook Pro with this older OS but it's Lion and I shouldn't have to pay for an upgraded version of the same software release but different version should I?

    No such widget in Muse, but you will need a third party service to achieve this, where you will store the data, like who booked the table, for how long etc. You can embed them in Muse and it should work. An example is given below

  • Why do I have so much trouble loading Frontierville, and why do I have to refresh it so much?

    When I go to load Frontierville, it takes forever; then when it finally does load, I no sooner get started then it tells me that the internet went all quiet and to refresh my page. What can I do to fix this?

    Here's an update on my post.
    When I click on my ITunes short cut, I get a window that says
    I have no idea why I'm getting this error as I have not inserted a disc in my computer for months. I haven't created any playlists, nor have I purchased anything as I'm always denied.
    In addition, when I am logged-in to the store (I'm assuming I am logged-in as my email address is reflected on the top left), when I select a song, then click Buy, I get the following error
    I'm at a total loss as to why I am unable to do anything in ITunes, either through my desktop or IPhone. Quite obviously I don't have a network problem as I have to be on-line to even get into the ITunes store.
    At this point, I'm convinced that ITunes doesn't want my money and am at the point that I'll just forget Apple and ITunes and try my luck elsewhere.
    FYI. I have used two emails, and created 2-3 IDs/passwords trying to get into ITunes and buy something.

    Scan the Support Community sites. Apple TV losing connection is prevalent. The many postings point out the problem occurs with Apple TV1,2and 3; with different brands of router including Airport Extreme; from current and past versions of iTunes; after varying periods of working well.....minutes, hours, days; losing connection with Home Sharing and loosing Airplay; whether the router and Apple TV are in same room or separated by distance; after trying innumerable posted 'fixes'; after exchanging for a new Apple TV.
    Readers, please don't post a fix until you check it works for atleast a week.

    What you can redownload for free will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
    Does music show as a category there ? Music can't be redownloaded in all countries, and if you've changed countries since buying it and/or or if it's no longer in your country's store then you won't be able to redownload it.

    Photos you take on your camera are in the Camera Roll and are like the film in a camera.
    Photo Stream is an independent stream of photos from all devices that are logged onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on. Photo Stream photos are kept in the cloud for 30 days or up to 1000 photos, whichever comes first, so unless you have a particular photo you just don't want to stay out there for 30 days, you don't really need to delete Photo Stream Photos. They are temporary. Your device will continue to keep your Photo Stream photos from prior to the 30 day limit, but if you switch Photo Stream off in iCloud and then right back on, the only photos that will re-display in Photo Stream on that device are the ones that remain within the 30 Day/1000 photo parameter.
    Collections is simply a single place which shows all of the photos that you have on your device. You do not need to delete photos from Collections. It is just a single place where you can see the contents of all of your albums.
    Photos in albums that you have created on the device itself are tied to the photos in your Camera Roll, so if you delete them from the Camera Roll, it will tell you that it will also be deleted from an album.
    Albums that you have sync'd from your computer should be removed the same way you got them there - by hooking the device up to a the computer you did the sync with, and un-selecting the album from the Photo profile screen.
    So, really, there are only two places that you need to delete photos - Camera Roll and Photo Stream.

  • Why do i have to pay £25 to end my contract?

    Hiya
    I was wondering if anyone can tell me why i have to pay a £25 administration fee because my contract has come to an end and i dont want to continue it. Of course i am used to BTs hidden fees but i dont think this is fair as i cant see what i am paying for. I agreed to 12months and in that time i have paid over the odds anyway so why should i have to pay more now the contract is up? has anyone else been told they have to pay this?

    Different operating systems. Your iMac runs OS X and the iWork
    applications you have on your iMac are written for OS X. On your
    iDevice, the operating system is iOS and you would need a version
    of the apps written for that. If you are not planninig to use the apps
    on your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, some iPods), you do not need to
    buy them. Having the apps on your iDevices provides instant
    syncing of documents across the iDevices using iCloud. iCloud
    does not provide Google App-like operation if that is what you are
    seeking. If this does not answer your question, perhaps someone
    else will chime in.

    I like it how everyone says its an option. I guess living is working on becoming an option. The reality though is far more difficult and easier to understand. An option properly interpreted in this corporate envirornment is we need more money. We have alot, but we need more. Apple is like most of society in marketing itself as a great business for people, but like or more so than M$ they need more. Now M$ charges more for their OS, or did until recently, they also had a business model that was screwy and painful. An OS is something that is required.
    The Touch/Phone software 1.0 should have been called a beta the 2.0 was just about there, without cut and paste and 3.0 is really an initial release. While Apple might market it differently now, its not just wallstreet and DC that there is false advertising. Going On.
    Now they are saying that 3.0 software is just an option, than it had better never to be included because that reveals its beyond an option, its not a game after all
