I have reset my password, but when trying to download an app to my iPhone I am still getting the error message that my Apple ID has been disabled. Do I need to somehow create a new Apple ID?

After resetting my Apple ID password I still am getting the message that my Apple ID has been disabled...how to reset my Apple ID?

Close All Open Apps...  Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
