I purchased my macbook pro about two months ago. I had no issues with it what so ever. This morning i took it off the charger because it was fully charged because it showed the green light. When i came back home i turned my computer back on , entered my password and it shut off . i tried turning it back onbut it wont turn back on and neither woul it charge . Its not turning on and its not charging.

It looks like the logic board has failed, but first try a SMC reset > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
If it does not work, take the MacBook Pro to an Apple Store or reseller. You will get the MacBook repaired for free

Is it possible to force spotlight to search for specific types of files by searching by extension/file type? I have final cut projects over six external drives, and it'd be useful to search for a title of an .fcp file. Cheers Steve
