Can someone help me find my music i bought on itunes. I lost it all. Does itunes have a backup somewhere. i deleted it all. do they keep records of bought music.
Yeah, but if I bought a CD I wouldn't have to pay 30 cents extra to have the complete use of any tune on the CD would I? ten songs on a CD means you pay an extra $3.00 for the CD that you didn't agree to but its held for ransom.
What? No idea what this has to do with anything (or even what it means)...
So if you wanna be FAIR itunes isn't fair.
Don't purchase from iTunes if you think it is unfair. There are many other places to purchase music.

I got a new laptop a lot of my music and apps are missing, How do i get them all back?
My laptop know im was stolen I got a new one and i downloaded itunes. Only the songs i bought on itunes came over and only like 3 apps. Now i a is missing. The only place i have the music is on my ipodm suppose to have around 50 of them and all my other music that i got from cd,s I do have all the music on my ipod but how do i get it all back into my itunes library.
Was your backup copy of your copmputer stolen as well?
If not, then use it top put everything back.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases -

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

I have all my music on my ipad and icloud. I don't have itunes installed on a PC or MAC. I recently purchased Music Match, but all my non itunes music is on my ipad. When i turn on music match in the settings screen on my ipad i get a message that says all my music will be erased. How do I get music match to match what is there rather than erase it?

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.

I bought a book on itunes on my pc. I want the book on my ipad. When I plugged in my ipad to sync it moved all my apps to my pc - useless. how do i get my apps back on my ipad and get the book from my computer to my ipad?

and in the accompanying documents linked from that page. Syncing your iPad with iTunes copies items, it doesn't move them. The only way apps would be actually removed from your iPad during syncing is if you had iTunes set to remove them on syncing, so check the appropriate settings in iTunes, set the book to sync as well, and then sync the iPad again.

Hi, I upgraded from iOS 5.1.1, to iOS 6, and it's ridiculously slow, I can't sync to my computer, (manually manage music), and all of my photos were gone. How can I get my photos back? It says restoring photos, but it's said that for two days now!
It just does't sync. I connect it to itunes, but nothing happens. Where it says how much space I have, it's just on ebig bar that says other. I can play my music on itunes, but not when i unplug it.
All of my photos were gone, i took and saved them with my ipod.
The photo app is saying restoring.

I get on iTunes and sync all my music on to my iPhone. I then get on my phone and there isn't any music on there. I have updated both my computer and phone but I cant seem to get my music on to my iPhone. Why?
Here are some things to double-check. The first two are optional:
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings check "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library check all the songs you want to sync to your phone
Make sure there are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
Be sure to authorize your computer for all Apple IDs used for any purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize This Computer)
Check "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings -

If all you did was sync your phone, and if you haven't synced again since this happened, you can restore your phone from the backup that was created at the beginning of the sync process (camera roll photos are included in the backup). If you have synced again since this happened this backup has already been overwritten and your photos are lost. Also, if you restored your phone from the backup of your iPod, rather than just synced, then your photos are lost too.
If you have an intact backup that contains these photos, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -
Almost my entire itunes music library seems corrupted. Nearly every song (431 albums) displys "the song ... cannot be used because the original file cannot be found". Is there any way to correct this? Please help!

kelly61Select one of the songs in question and right click, then select "Get Info". On the main dialog page you should see where iTunes thinks the file resides. Then use Windows Explorer to see if the file is actually there. If not, find out where your music is stored.If there is not a correlation between iTunes and reality, go into iTunes and delete all of the files which are not found. Then, in iTunes, select File->Add Folder to Library and select where the music is stored. iTunes will re-add all of the music into your library.

The question is ... Did you buy them, accidentally or otherwise? They are all part of iLife, the latest version of which is iLife 11.
iMovie/Garage band can all be bought through the App store as separate programs; iPhoto is a free update. -

You can restore from your iTune or iCloud backup if you have one.

Choose Folder Action for type of document
At the top, for Folder action receives files and folders added to, select Other...
in the window that opens, select your Downloads folder, and then Choose
from the Actions on the left, drag Filter Finder Items over to the column on the right
Where it says Any Content, select Kind
Where it says Any, select music
Drag Move Finder Items over to the rightfor To: select other, and navigate to your user folder > Music > iTunes > iTunes Media > Automatically Add to iTunes
