I Lost my Windows Drive

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and Windows 7 on my MacBook.
I added new partition in Snow Leopard, after that I can't access Windows ( even in Boot menu with "Option" key ) and can't see Windows drive in finder.
I tried Windows Repair, but it just recognized my windows, can't calcute drive size or other details.
totally, I lost my Windows and Windows Drive
Can anybody help me?

Sounds like the drive could be corrupted. Sometimes taking the drive out of the machine and plugging it in to another machine with a "bare-drive-to-usb2-adaptor" can allow volumes to mount that can't otherwise. This would at least allow you to recover files.

but I have the prior gen which is USB2 only. The new one does all. It's an amazing tool and anyone doing amateur HD recovery should have it (or a different brand).

If you have a backup, restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the computer. This restores the library and device association files. If for some reason you chose to only back up the media and not the entire iTunes folder, then the only option is to let iTunes wipe the drive and re-sync.

Upgrade Mac OS 17.0, Lost my hard drive in Windows

Before upgrade Mac OS, I had three hard drives C:, H and G. Drive H is for Mac operation system. C and G are NTFS for windwos operation system.

I lost my dolby driver after Windows 10 upgrade

I own a s7-391. I just updated to windows 10. I lost my dolby driver. For some reason my laptop doesnt sound as loud as it once did. Could be this be the issue?

I'm facing the same problem too. I'm using Aspire V5-573PG. After upgrade to windows 10, the dolby home theater v4 stop working. I tried to uninstall the old driver and download the driver for windows 10. But no help at all, the dolby home theater v4 software wasn't in my computer. Hope they will patch the software ASAP.P.S: The proble probably came from cortana. The dolby software auto turn off when I use google now on google chrome last time, but it can be turn on again, but not this time...

Itunes wont run and now i lost my cd drive

I installed itunes to my windows xp computer and after the installation I tried to run the program. It would not run and now I lost my cd drive. I deleted itunes and then in order to get my drive back I would have to use the windows restore program. But, every time I try to reinstall itunes it does the same thing... program wont work and lose my cd drive. Please help me someone...

Success! I've finally got itunes up and running on my computer. What I did was go to my control panel and clicked on 'other control panel options.' Here I found the java plug-in icon which I updated, it's pretty straightforward to do that, if you click on it, you'll find the option to do that. I then clicked on the Windows start menu and on programs which said 'apple software update'. I clicked on this and it said searching for software. It found the new version of Quick Time and a security update for it. I installed both of them and double clicked on itunes and instead of expecting it to show the usual error message it started launching! I'm well pleased. My cd drive is still missing but I should be able to find a way to restore it. Hope this info helps someone who's having similar problems!

In order to recover the tags/albums, etc, you need to have the catalog db. Since currently you only have images, the organization done in the older catalog is probably lost.
Which version of PSE you have and is there any chance, that you have access to catalog location (default is : %programdata%\adobe\elements organizer\catalogs on Windows and ~/library/app support/adobe/organizer/catalogs on MAC) ?

Hi mark4001!: all you have to do is go to the "drivers & downloads section of this part of HP go to the box & put in "Photosmart D110" then download the complete software rather than the mere driver (to make sure you retain all the features & options you paid for)
once installed it'll set itself up as the default printer
then make sure you do a back up with both an external HD & Windows 7 excellent back up application as soon as you're done to keep what you have
This is what I currenly do because I need some new recovery media but I have no credit card.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Windows drive no longer available at power up with Option key?

I've done a byte to byte copy of a separate disk drive (320GB) that was my Vista x64 bootcamp drive. (In a MacPro) to a new 750GB drive. After I completed the copy process, I pulled out the 320GB drive and put in the 750GB drive. I hold down the "Option" key during power on and expected to see both my Mac drive and my Windows drive boot option. Unfortunately I only see the Mac now.
If I go into OSX I can see my Bootcamp drive on my desktop (Untitled), can open it and see that all my windows files are there. So what am I missing to get my bootcamp drive to show up during the power on Option process?

RAID is destination for dmg image file.
But tried it again using a single Mac HD boot drive just to eliminate that possibility. Got the same error:

Prevent automatic syncing one time, without changing settings: Open iTunes. Then, as you connect iPhone to your computer, press and hold Shift-Control (on a PC) until you see iPhone appear in the sidebar. Then, use iTunes File menu > Transfer Purchases from XXX's iPhone. This will transfer your purchased items.
For your other stuff you will need a 3rd party utility. Find discussion of them here

You won't be able to recover you entire library from your iPad but you can recover some of its contents by transferring the purchases back to iTunes. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 This will not transfer anything you did not purchase from iTunes, for example music or video files you had stored on the HD and you put into iTunes. Without a backup that information is gone. One very important thing to keep in mind. Once you sync the iPad to the new iTunes it will remove all the afore mentioned music or video files from the iPad. Do not sync with iTunes if you want to keep those files. Hope that helps.

Moved video files to windows drive and now

I have an issue related to moving files from iPhone to my Windows Computer, files got moved without any error. I had never imagined this would happen. This all happened in 2 hours.
1. I moved few of video files total size 2GB from iPhone to Windows Drive.
2. Then went up to sync using iTunes without anything in Camera Roll.
3. Then Erased All contents.
4. Got the phone replaced from Apple Store.
5. Now came back home and shocked to see the files are not copied properly and see attached for details.
I was checking to see is there any remote chance of recovering the original videos that i record, or have to lose those memories for ever. It's all my kids videos that i shot for the first day school this year. Any experts out there please share your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks.
PS: I don't have any itunes backup or any other backup of my media on iPhone. I regret as i should have synced with iTunes, or synced with any cloud service, or at least do a copy paste and verify the files, when the iPhone is detected as a disk on Windows Machine.

Quick thing to try: from the Finder, select the View menu and then select "Clean Up" in case it has wandered somewhere almost off the desktop. Also, if it is "hiding" behind something, it will be revealed.
